Unhappy Customer

I ordered the true logo jogging set on sale at $83.99 for the bottom and $79.99 for the top. 3 weeks later it dropped down to $29.99 each. Imagine my dismay when the price dropped a whole $100. I called customer Service which was closed. I then sent to seperate emails and got no response. It has not neen 30 days yet which is their return policy. All I wanted was a refund or credit for the difference. I would have sent it back, got a refund and repurchased the sale item but, I'm out of town. Very disappointed, I fell like I got robbed. Won't be in a hurry to buy from you all again... Sales only!!

DO NOT ORDER. Poor customer service

I have placed an order and paid for the shipping delivery which was £15.
It’s taken weeks to arrive. And now I have recieved a fee from Royal Mail for £15 which would make delivery total £30. This is not disclosed when purchasing any product. If I do not pay the extra £15 my items will be returned. I have emailed customer services and have had no reply. I have had to email again. I am limited on time for a response about this problem. Yet any contact from them is minimal.

i still have not recieved my product or refund

I email the customer service ever day to get my refund, they have stopped replying to me and ignore my emails i dont know how to get my money back

Very Pleased

I ordered my son jeans before checking the reviews and I was devastated when I saw some of the reviews but omg I was wrong to worry. My son is over the moon with them. They are great quality, comfortable and there nothing fake about these jeans. Great quick service. Thank you so much.

Worst company ive ever dealt with never…

Worst company ive ever dealt with never sent my order out but took my money and kept saying they was trying to find my order every time i got intouch they kept telling me to wait 24 hours id wait and nothing happened after contacting them constantly after 4 weeks they tell me the item is out of stock and ive got to wait for a refund i then had to chase them up for a refund it took another 4 days and opening a case with paypal to get my money back

Terrible is an understatement

Terrible is an understatement. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I purchased numerous items online non turned up, had to call them five times only to be told shipping is pending. Asked them to cancel my order and refund me only to told no they can’t do that and I need to wait so they can try and fulfill the order. One month on still no items... What a load of fraudulent crooks!! Will never again use this rubbish company.

Absolutely disgusting customer service

Absolutely disgusting customer service. Purchased an item which I needed to return. Was told the label was emailed to myself and it wasn’t. The girl on the phone had no idea what she was on about it’s not hard to just send a pre paid returns label to an email address which they have already used to confirm my order. After being on the phone for over 25 minutes I asked to speak to another advisor, who conveniently cut me off. I then had to ring back and sit on hold to be told it could take 35 minutes for the return label to be emailed. What a load of rubbish when you purchase from them they email straight away. And to make it even worse the items which are saying pending delivery which were christmas presents have now got to be cancelled because they aren’t even available.
Don’t ever use this website

The worst customer service

The worst customer service over the phone i have ever received? I made 2 orders nearly 2 weeks before Christmas and delivery states 3 to 4 working days to deliver which hasnt happened to date. My orders kept stating Unable to fufill and other order stated pending shipping but everytime i called which was more then five time during that 2 weeks speaking to the following guy's Ivy, Michelle, Noraina, Denisse and Mark who constantly tried to tell me Unable to fufill meant they are still looking into the warehouses they have to get the product it is not cancelled. I kept repeating every time i call to them that listen if you cant give me the order just tell me so i can buy alternative gifts for christmas and new years but they insisted it will be sorted and couple said i will get my order regardless which was a lie. I have been a True Religion loyal customer for a long time but after this experience i do not know if i will continue being a customer. Just today i have called in again and spoke to Aya who alteast has spoke the truth and said my orders are being cancelled to my frustration, also am waiting to call back and speak to their Supervisor. She also told me the call centre is based in Philippines which could be a big factor of some customer service advisors may not understand the plain meaning of UNABLE TO FUFILL instead of making me look like i dont understand what im on about from the UK. I am really frustrated and disappointed with True Religion this time around.😖

Don't order!!!!

Customer service isn't as it use to be the website is selling items it has no stock for! I ordered 5 different orders over £200 worth of clothing I got nothing!!!! I had to email and chase every order no one knew a thing that was going g on never got a sorry and had to chase refunds! When you have 5 orders you kind of wished you never placed the first one let alone the last one!! Here is a copy of email as proof!!!!

I’ve had to cancel an order with true…

I’ve had to cancel an order with true religion, no mention on their website fulfilment taking longer than normal. 3 weeks had passed and order had not dispatched. Called CS but got nothing but lip service from them. I will update this review with the length of time it takes them to process refund.

orders not fulfilled after several weeks

I placed a few orders with multiple items - some of these orders have been marked shipping pending for weeks, in November 2019, to be exact. I have chatted and phoned their customer services, but it seems they have no clue whatsoever. They don't know when the orders will be fulfilled or whether they will be fulfilled. It's the worst site I have ever had the misfortune of trying to order from. I regret not reading previous reviews before using. I will steer clear, henceforth. A supposed coveted brand name should not been seen as being commensurate with customer service or good online service.

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. Asked about a refund was told several pieces of incorrect information such as I could return my store bought item to a warehouse then told different when questioning them about this. They never properly read my emails or gave a personalised response. Felt like they were not bothered. Don’t shop here, not worth the hassle. Will be telling friends and family of this experience.

Could not fulfil and will not refund

Placed an order on the website for a jacket, which was shown as in stock. As I did not receive a dispatch E-mail after several days, I decided to login to check the status, only to find out they could not fulfil due to stock issues.

This things happen, so no issues, but at no point I was contacted about the order or stock not being available.

When I contacted them, I was informed the order will eventually be cancelled after 7 days, that they could not cancel it despite having no stock and that I had to wait. Never heard anything so ridiculous.

After the 7 working days from the moment I was informed the order will be cancelled, nothing. I contacted them again and was told they will cancel the order and issue a refund straight away. I got the cancellation E-mail saying that the order was cancelled but the refund will take another 5 working days.

I waited 6 working days for the refund and nothing, of course! Chased them again and they said they had issues with their system and will now issue the refund and this will take 7 to 10 working days!!! What???? This is over a month since I placed the order, which they could not fulfil, did not tell me they could not fulfil, told me they could not cancel it and had to chase the refund twice and still no money!

Awful company. Will never buy again from them.

I will start with a seriously harsh…

I will start with a seriously harsh warning, not that anyone should need it, having seen the overall score of this website on the Trust Pilot page. Wr cannot all be wrong! NEVER USE THE TRUE RELIGION WEBSITE to purchase TR clothing. I give a score of 0/100. These people are crooks.

I have been a loyal customer of this brand for 10 years now. That’s over half the time it’s existed. I have spent genuinely tens of thousands on the brand in that time, both for others, and my large personal collection. To be clear, the quality was / is of a very high standard. I personally believe the standard has dropped somewhat over the last few years, since production shifted from USA only...to factories all over the world...but this review is not about that. To be clear, the only jeans I wear are TR, and I wear them everyday. Still love them. That’s not the issue which concerns me, and should also worry other potential online customers of this brand.

This review is solely about the website, and how shocking their practices are. Sadly this is nothing any of you won’t have read before, as I also read countless reviews on here, saying the same thing I am writing now. Basically the website is not run by the same people who run the stores. Lots of the people in the stores will go out of their way to help you, so please don’t hesitate to buy in store. However, like most...I enjoy a good deal when I see one. And online shopping should be easy and hassle free right?

Wrong. Not with these scum. That might sound a harsh word to use, but I have given this company every single chance to right the wrongs, and they simply do not care. The people in charge of the website are useless from top to bottom and none of them can emerge from the situation with any credit at all. They are fully aware of the underhand practices they use, and have no intention of stopping.

So basically, despite it being a UK site (if you are in Spain or another European country, you get a totally different version of the site) the people on the phone actually are based in America and the goods ship from Belgium. Already sounds weird right?

When you look on the site, there’s often some amazing deals. I mean, I remember when you could not find these jeans for less than £200 anywhere. Often the website has deals where the jeans are £30. And the tees are less than £6. Who wouldn’t jump onboard for a bit of that?

Don’t do it people. It’s a massive scummy con. You see, they have hardly none of that stock in the warehouse. And what’s more they don’t care. They will still let you order it though. And pay. PayPal debits the money instantly. You will then face a 2day wait normally, to receive an email that’s missing a tracking number for normally around half the items. In some cases all the items. You DO NOT, get told there’s a refund incoming. And all the items ordered and paid for with your hard earned cash, are still on the email. So if it’s your first time, you might not realise some have no tracking number next to them (meaning they won’t be posted) So you might expect to receive all the items you paid for? Crazy idea right.

Sorry to burst your bubble. It rarely happens. I’ve made well over 10 orders in the last few months. Only 1 was 100% fulfilled, and that was a 4 item order. The first you might know of the fact you won’t get your items, is the DPD man handing you a parcel half the size you are expecting. Let me also helpfully add, they send you a reciept in dollars, even though you pay in pounds, and they claim it’s UPS who will deliver. It’s not. Always DPD. Hence why the tracking they provide, never works on the UPS site. Which is super handy.

Anyway, your incomplete order is here. In my case, 4 recent orders totalled £1000. Guess how much was missing? 50% ladies and gentlemen. It’s been almost 3 weeks now. Do you think my money had been fully refunded? Lol. No. £500 is a lot to be owed!

Good luck trying to get the money back. When you call up, you speak to literally the most patronising people you will ever deal with, who have no care in the world that you are £500 down and it’s almost Christmas. They won’t refund you. They will tell you that they intend to fulfill the order and to give them a extra week to do so. I’ve ordered countless times from them and this has never happened. If you get an incomplete order, you are done. It’s not coming guys. Forget it.

So you wait a week like they asked. And call again. And you get fobbed off by more soulless human beings who are employed solely to wind you up and get a reaction. They won’t help you at all. They will however instantly hang up, if you get annoyed with their patronising tone and lack of support. So after calling for 10 days solid and speaking to 10 different people who won’t help, you open a PayPal dispute against the company. Well in my recent case...4 different PayPal disputes lol. That’s right. Despite me spending tens of thousands on their product, loyalty gets you nowhere, so your forced to do this. To be clear, this isn’t just the one time. No, I’ve done this multiple times, and it’s been the only way I’ve got my money back.

Sadly that’s currently still not good enough. They normally panic and refund you instantly after you make a claim, but not this time. Even though they know they owe me the money and we both have the proof! So I’m still currently out of pocket significantly.

If you wonder why I kept ordering, I did so because I don’t live near a TR store and I simply can’t afford their standard prices. Even sale prices in store can be steep compared to online. So despite knowing what I was in for, each time I ordered online, I kept doing so, in good faith, thinking each time that maybe they had changed, and learnt from their mistakes and sorted things out. A bit like someone in a rubbish relationship lol. But sadly, they hadn’t.

So heed this long winded warning. I will never again spend a single pound on the website, no matter how cheap the items are. Because they rarely even turn up. All we are doing, is loaning the company money, which is then withheld from the customer until you file a case against them with PayPal. This has happened to me 10 times this year alone at least. Only on this most recent occasion, I cannot even get my money back yet. The next step is a solicitor. This company is losing so many customers so fast, all because of its awful website and the lack of customer service that goes with it. The shops are way better. Spend your money there, or not at all guys and girls. This website is run by villains, who are literally robbing people. Absolutely disgusting behaviour and I am happy to spend an hour of my time writing this email to make this point clear.

Finally, you will also notice if you check the site every few months, items you ordered and paid for, then never received, then had to spend weeks getting your money back on, will dubiously reappear on the site! If that’s not absolutely dodgy, I don’t know what is. Lol. I’ve actually tried to order the same items multiple times over 6 months. Never received them and always had to make PayPal claims or countless calls to get my money back. They never ever ever ever have refunded me without me having to call multiple times. I’ve genuniely nevertheless known any company like it in my whole life! It’s beyond a joke. There’s no defence for it. I’ve told them for 2 years about the inventory problems on the site and the awful customer service. But it’s only got worse. Seriously avoid these clowns at all costs.

As others have stated. I placed an online order Dec 3. Decided to check status today, Dec 7 and all items show unable to fulfill. Called CS to inquire about refund. Told I had to wait until Dec 13 so they could fulfill their processing and shipping time for items they can’t fulfill or ship to me. Then I asked to just cancel my order. Stated they couldn’t cancel because they may find the items in store or at an outlet. WTH??? You either have the items or you don’t. This is the first and last time I will order from them. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was then talked over, put on hold for ten minutes then told the supervisor would have to call me back in an hour, when they would no longer be open. When I pointed that out I was told oh well she can call you tomorrow. Janine was the rep and her customer service skills are garbage. I won’t apply to everyone there because that would be unfair. But I Vernon hope this is not the norm, although judging from other reviews it is. BUY IN STORE IF YOU REALLY WANT THIS BRAND BUT ANY OTHER BRAND INCLUDING FROM WALMART WOULD BE BETTER!

Do not buy at all!

Avoid buying from this site..this company is a joke..I order online which 3-5 days delivery.more than a week of waiting,I contacted customer service and gave my order number they said they are checking against their stock in the warehouse.On your site it's available?It's seems like your system is going backwards and for the price the customer pay for the clothing better service should be expected.Anyway day after contacting customer service I received an email saying they are cancelling my order.Now I'm waiting for my money back..Time wasters!

AVOID!!!

Avoid they will draw you in with a big sale and cheap prices then when you order they will email you a few days later saying your item is not in stock.
