I have now done 3 out of 4 escape rooms in the escape hunt venue in Edinburgh, they are amazing. The staff are hilarious and really good with the hints. The puzzles are so fun and entertaining.

Amazing experience from start to finish. Great customer service and acting from Calum at the Birmingham city establishment, thank you for an enjoyable experience. Standard of the room was kept to a good quality. All round great night out.

We have done escape rooms before and they were brilliant. Unfortunately this last visit was appalling. We had clues we didn’t ask for and a door should’ve been padlocked that wasn’t.. We escaped in 30 minutes and felt it was very short. On the night we queried it and was told it was a beginner room. This information isn’t anywhere on the website We wrote and complained and received a very contrite reply and were even accused of breaking the padlock. The reply overall was rude and dismissive. we will not use this escape room company again and will not be recommending them either.

We had a great experience today and our hosts Emily and Prudence made us feel very welcome and explained the set up well.
We had 2 adults and 2 children's age 14 and 11 and we did the Alladin room and all enjoyed it.

Escape Hunt is far and away the best escape room we have done as a family - and we have done quite a few! Can’t recommend highly enough - we did Curse of the Pharoah in Bournemouth and loved it so much we went back and did Alice in Wnderland. Both were brilliant: perfectly pitched games and hints from Kyle and Co. We took two v bright, game loving kids aged 10 and 12 - and it was perfect combo for family fun with a few jumps and lots of high fives. Just go.

If you are going to Milton Keynes then avoid like the plague disappointed is an understatement for how much it costs for my kids and I to go. If you want to save yourself the journey and money, then I would advise you to stay home!

Over priced and very disappointing with the value of the room. I had to pay to go in with 5 children, all 14 years old because of their company policy, under 18s' must accompanised by an adult. Which I did not see the point. so I paid total £150 for the 6 of us for a 54 mins experience. I don't think they should even allow more than 5 people to go in since it was very small room and it was not comfortable. The hidden room was incredibly small, no AC. When the 6 of us were in there, it was not comfortable. The children were soon bored because the puzzle were not making sense. We just wanted to get out at the end. And what had made this whole experience even more 'memorable'. it was that I was accused taking a picture or an video in that hidden room. When I told them I didn't take a picture.

The person behind the camera were very unfriendly and rude, he told me off in front of all the children and threatened me to have us remove from the room if I do not delete the picture. I had to open my camera album to prove I did not take an video or a picture of their room in front of their CCTV. Which it really added to the whole BAD experience. There could be a better way to ask me if i had taken a picture and have it kindly remove. For example, ask me at the end of the game, in person. No scolding me behind the wall, from the CCTV, in front of my children and their friends. At the end of the day, I was the customer paying to get a good experience!

Escape Hunt Basingstoke, Festival place. "Finest Hour" room, excellent experience, time flew by Tom our leader at Escape Hunt was brilliant and added to the experience!100% recommend. Can't wait to return! We got out the room just over 53 minutes! Our other Team also did Alice and Wonderland and throughly enjoyed it!

Second time here and it was just as fun. The pirate room was well designed, only complaint was the furniture was a little worn and didn’t seem to receive the same level of detail as the “Finest Hour” room. Nonetheless it was fun and the host Rowan was friendly, had a great pirate voice and made us feel welcome.

Treated to an Escape Hunt at Norwich weekend before last. Did the City Hunt which was OK, but value-wise one tablet to carry round with you as you traversed central Norwich and a box of clues for £15 a head was a bit pricey. There were five of us so that's £75. I think this is one that should have a flat price of say £30.

My daughter and I did the Aladdin Escape room in Milton Keynes. The experience was already amazing and the staff just made it better. They were kind, considerate and helpful. Gladstone and Moyo were wonderful game masters. 😀

Booking the Escape Hunt experience in Watford was a breeze. When we walked in, the staff greeted us and asked which adventure we wanted to do. We went with Blackbeard's Treasure and were told we had an hour to finish it. It was pretty tough, but thankfully we got some hints along the way. Overall, it was a fun experience and we'd definitely suggest it to others.

Just had a brilliant time at Oxford Circus! The host, Jacob, was outstanding. Full of enthusiasm and made us really welcome. It makes such a difference having awesome staff. I've never done an escape room before and I was terrible at it, but had a great time anyway. Would like to try the other escape rooms there.

Went to Woking Escape Hunt with three twelve year olds. We were made extremely welcome, and helpfully staff told us Excaliber was tough challenge and would we could change if we preferred. We went ahead with Excaliber. The whole experience was excellent !

I visited Alice in Puzzleland (recommended for ages 8 and up) with my wife and our two children, who are also 8 years old and up. We informed the host that our kids were new to escape rooms, while my wife and I had attempted one before but were unsuccessful. Despite finding all the clues, we found the instructions overly vague and felt that our actions needed to be extremely specific to be successful, with no prior guidance or hints provided. It wasn't solely the difficulty level that posed a challenge, but rather the lack of clarity in the clues. Even after seeking assistance from the game master, we found the solution more perplexing than impressive.

Unfortunately, the game master was not particularly helpful; his communication was unclear, and his demeanour seemed disinterested at best, if not outright rude. Additionally, there were instances where we had the correct combination for a puzzle, but it was only deemed correct when we reversed the order and returned to the original sequence. Towards the end, when we inquired about what remained to be done, we were informed of several further steps, yet when we sought help, we were only given vague hints that left us feeling more frustrated than supported.

Overall, the experience was not well-suited for a family with young children, and it was evident that the game master was not adequately trained to provide assistance tailored to our needs.

Regrettably, it was not a positive experience for us.

As a group of 9, we made a last minute booking at Resorts World Escape Hunt and Keris was amazing!
She helped us get booked in across 2 escape rooms, take payments and sort disclaimers as well as drinks.
She was super friendly, professional and helpful. A credit to the business!

A quick way to lose your money. The worst escape room we’ve yet to experience. After asking for a hint in the first 10 minutes we were told to look for a specific item that wasn’t even in the room it was hidden. We were also told that everything would be easy to open or would pop open. However there was something you had to lift after opening. Buttons didn’t work on code breakers.
Aesthetically everything looks very pretty, but there was no logic just pure randoms actions to solve the riddles. Terrible experience.

We went to the Escape Hunt in Manchester and I highly advise against booking the last time slot. The workers are eager to let you finish as soon as possible so that they can close up, by giving you solutions on every step without us even asking. We didn't really put any effort in clearing the game. Not fun.

Had a great time at Escale Hunt. We did the Samurai room a few weeks ago and got out quickly so came back to do ‘Our Finest Hour’ Which was more of a logistical room with lots of code breaking whilst also including lots of hand on tasks too. Our task master Mia (Agent Mia) was so lovely and helpful. Would return again.
