Disappointed. We did the doctor who escape room at resorts world. The set up and special effects were really good although we felt let down as it didn’t feel like the games masters (who kept changing) were paying attention as we were trying to work out parts of the challenges. When we asked for hints, nobody responded. This is my 7th escape room and unfortunately is the most unenjoyable one i’ve done so far. Thumbs down from us.

The team were very accomodating at Escape Hunt in Oxford Circus. We arrived just on time and still gave us the full 60 minutes, even though we had to pay for one remaining person. That person was the 7th member, which they allowed for an escape room that is designed for 6.

There were a few puzzles that could have been better but it was exhilarating and a great team bonding exercise. We completed it with 10 seconds to space - thank you Jacob for the hints and theatrics. Loved your voice!

I did the Wild West room at London Oxford Street on Saturday 4th November, as part of a team of two with my best friend. We escaped the room and had a lot of fun doing it, and we would go back, but the experience was let down by a few things.

One of the things required to solve a puzzle wasn’t working, so we never had any chance of fully solving the room. This was apparently a known issue as it was mentioned during our debrief that it had been playing up and they were getting a new one. When you’re paying £35 each that’s not really good enough, you expect everything to be fully working.

For one of the puzzles, more items are provided to solve it than are required, and it doesn’t matter which ones you use or in which order, and there are lights involved which don’t actually light up, all of which makes the puzzle seem far more complicated than it is.

For another puzzle, a diagram is provided which did not help at all.

There were three puzzles we didn’t work out; we got the concept for one of them but were told during the debrief that “nobody gets” the solution, which means it’s too difficult. For the other two, we felt that we were at a disadvantage because we’re short (we actually hadn’t noticed the things required to solve one of them).

Overall a good evening out and we enjoyed ourselves but there is room for improvement.

We went to the Basingstoke Escape Hunt for a Friday evening bit of fun. From the minute we walked in the door the customer service from Scarlett was superb 10/10. She was so friendly which made us feel so comfortable. She helped us pre-book the 6 p.m. game of our finest hour and explained everything about the room so clearly before we went in and the whole experience was fantastic. Would highly recommend this to anyone and will be back to do this again and not fail again

This was a birthday present from my family and I did Aladdin and Alice in Wonderland. Looked after by Millie and Tetta for Aladdin and Michael and Piper for Alice in Wonderland. Very friendly, helpful and their attention to detail was amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed both rooms and will be going back again. Already recommended to friends. Wish I had done a room before this. Cannot praise enough Oxford Street. Well done

Had a wonderful experience her, went two days in a row. Will definitely be going back again. Was looked after by Michael, Piper, Millie and Tetta. Thanks to those guys a had a special birthday. Attention to detail and friendliness were outstanding.

Great time in the Atlantis room! Really well put together room with some tricky puzzles and a great twist, just as we thought we were done!

Just completed the ESCAPE THE WILD WEST room at Milton Keynes this morning with some colleagues from the Netherlands and Belgium. Great experience that everyone enjoyed and the host was friendly and described the activity well, giving prompts as we needed them.

We went to the Castle Quarter Norwich Escape Hunt for our daughter's 12 birthday. From the minute we walked in the door the customer service from Sophie was superb. She was so friendly which made us feel so comfortable. She explained everything so clearly before we went in and the whole experience was fantastic. Would highly recommend this to anyone.

Just did the Escape Room "Blackbeards Treasure" in Bristol as a group of four and thoroughly enjoyed it. There were so many interesting clues and scenario's that the hour flew by. The props were amazing and we came away from the experience feeling like we had to go back again sometime to do a different one. The employee Captain Amy explained what to do very well before we went into the room.

The escape room was really fun and Harry was nice and helpful

I love an escape room, so as part of my hen do decided to do one. We picked Manchester to celebrate, and The Escape Hunt team Dan and Andrew, I think was theirs names, were brilliant. Funny helpful and the rooms were excellent. Everyone had fun.

Had Courtney as a host and she was amazing, great customer service and would 100% recommend to anyone who is a fan of escape rooms

Rubbish. Me and my mate did the Time Cops city hunt game in Birmingham Central and I cannot begin to say how rubbish it was. Don’t get me wrong one of the staff members (female short blonde/brown ish hair) was lovely and couldn’t be anymore approachable. However, on the 2nd clue located outside Snow Hill station at the bottom of the stairs there was a mosaic on either side of the steps. Now the question for this clue made zero sense. On top of this the clue that was given had no relevance to the question at all. So for 50 minutes me and my mate (who aren’t thick and can usually do stuff like this) gave up because nothing was obvious. Considering the city hunt was called TIME COPS when the question asked what the local feature was but the clue was telling us to think about the colours of the characters on the card part of the question = these two things do not relate to each other.

When we returned to the escape hunt HQ in Birmingham centre and told the staff the problems we had. The first thing I noticed was that not all the staff know about the time cops city hunt game so that was a good start. Plus one of the staff members told us once we returned back that if we would have typed in the word - pass - then we would have been able to skip that clue and move on - had we known this at the beginning we would have probably enjoyed the rest of the game.

Also the fact that the clue also told us to look beneath our feet so we looked into the history and found that glassworks occurred underneath but clearly this was the wrong answer.

To add to this, the staff member we spoke to at the end, got her manager called Alice who implied that we got the question wrong and that we were in the wrong. I didn’t like her attitude about this when we clearly had a good argument as to why it didn’t make sense and we were basically told in so many words that it was our fault for not figuring it out.

Plus the staff actually told us that the city hunt we did - time cops - was an escape game that none of the staff actually managed to complete - isn’t this an obvious clue to maybe make the game a little easier and maybe offer a few more clues if customers are really struggling.

A lot harder thank you think! But Sydney was lovely. Hope your get your Nando’s

My first time in an escape room, Last Vikings at Reading. Staff were lovely, polite and courteous from initial enquiry through to photos at the end of the game.
Room was authentic and 'the gods' gave us help when needed.
Good puzzles if a little tricky! Made us think.
Great fun and will definitely be going back!

We booked two room for a hen party at the Milton Keynes site. We had an incredible time! Everyone said this was the best escape room they had ever done. Everyone was so lovely and helpful! The facilities were brilliant!
Can’t wait to do another room.
