Good water filters
I am very pleased with the water filter but not so much with their filter replacement program. I just got a refund for an unfulfilled filter order that I had placed almost three months ago.

Our replacement program exists to make sure customers receive their replacement filters on time, and having an order go unfulfilled for nearly three months falls far short of that. I hope that as we've grown and made improvements, you haven't experienced anything like this from us again. We're so glad to hear you've been enjoying your filtered water!
Non-delivery scam
Stay away. I've ordered and paid for a water filter two months ago which was 'in stock' but it still has not been delivered. Support ignores all emails. Have to report as non-delivery fraud to credit card provider.

Hi Chris, I sincerely apologize for our support team's lack of response. When something goes wrong with a delivery, it's our responsibility to help resolve it, whether the issue occurred during our shipping process or later in transit. You should not have had to repeatedly reach out for assistance.
Stay away from Epic Water
Stay away from Epic Water: I bought 2 jugs (1 Epic and 1 Nano) with filters - both were faulty. The company sent replacement filters but to my surprise those were also malfunctioning! So 4/4 filters faulty. This is not a trustworthy company.

I'm so sorry you had this experience with our filters. Having issues with your filters and then receiving replacements that also didn't work properly must have been incredibly frustrating. I know with our older media we occasionally had issues with the media cracking during shipment, which would lead to filters clearly not working properly. Now we have improved filtration media, and all our pitcher filters are completely made or assembled here in our U.S. NSF-certified manufacturing facility. This should have never happened. Thank you for sharing your experience.
Useless support
Good product but
EXTREMELY bad customer service.
Take money but REFUSE to refund missing orders marked as unfulfilled for a MONTH because "its already packed. We can't cancel packed products"
Then they cancel my subscription WITHOUT permission anyway instead sorting out the parcel that is 6 weeks LATE.

Terrible subscription service
Subscribed to the replacement filter, when I complained that I hadn’t received a replacement (which I’d been charged for), I was refunded the money and they cancelled my subscription. I had to chase them many times for the replacement, I didn’t want to cancel subscription just wanted the money I’d paid to be refunded. They offered me a promo code which means absolutely nothing as the one I’d like to purchase has been sold out online for months and months. If you have supply issues inform your customers ahead of time instead of expecting them to chase them cancelling subscriptions when they chase.

Wow, I am so sorry this was your experience with our customer service during this time. That sounds very frustrating! We have since cracked down on supply issues and haven't had our bottle and pitcher filters run out of stock. This definitely should have been communicated and handled better at the time. What happened to this company?? Started off so well but now they have a website full of items that aren't in stock. Worst of which is replacement filters rendering the pure pitcher I have useless. No update on their website or socials about production or stock issues, no replies to emails yet continue to take subscription money. So wrong, how difficult is it to just be honest. Going by all the recent reviews on here their reputation is now trash. Subscription is cancelled and will be sourcing another filter company. Shame as genuinely enjoyed how the water tasted with their filters, better than anyone else out there.

Cris, I am so sorry you had this experience with our company and our filter subscription program! I also apologize for the late response to your very valuable feedback. We are just getting involved with Trustpilot. Did you ever get the filters you were owed from your subscription? From what I can gather, it seems we were having supply chain issues at this time, but customers should definitely not have been left without clear communication while still being charged for subscriptions. Thankfully, we have become much more diligent about keeping replacement filters in stock since then. I'm so sorry we let you down here, especially after you had been enjoying our filters and the water quality they provide.

I know in the past we've had periods where replacement filters have been out of stock. Thankfully, we have this much more regulated now, and being sold out of products is very rare. We're especially diligent about keeping our pitcher and bottle filters in stock because we know our customers rely on them regularly. I'm so sorry you had difficulty accessing a replacement filter at this time and that we weren't more diligent about making sure our customers had access to the products they rely on.
Terrible customer service
The actual product was good, but when I tried to order a new filter it never came. I took this up with customer service who kept saying “it should be delivered soon”. After waiting 2 months I came to realisation it wasn’t going to come. Epic filters didn’t want to refund me after countless requests, so now I’m left with a useless jug without any filters

I greatly apologize on behalf of our customer support team for the trouble you had getting your replacement filter. Sadly, I wasn't with the company at the time, so I can't speak to why getting your filter became so difficult or why a refund wasn't issued. I can say that since I've been here, we do our best to make sure customers receive the filters they've paid for, regardless of what caused the delivery issue. I also apologize for the very late response to your feedback. We are just now getting involved with Trustpilot and responding to reviews here.

I invested in their jug and filters (which are great quality) but desperate for a replacement filter. Literally sent them over 10 emails, almost daily sending them messages on their FB page. No response. I don't want to pay double the price for a replacement filter on Amazon. Sorry to resort to leaving you a negative review, but PLEASE respond to my emails and messages. I just need a replacement filter otherwise I would have to bin the jug, which is money I don't want to throw down the drain
