This company doesn't even rate the one star. It's appalling on every level. I ordered goods on July 2. The money was taken from my account on July 3 but nothing arrived. Throughout July and August I constantly emailed both sales and customer care and even head office without a response until I threatened them with breach of Contract under Common Law, breach of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, referral to Trading Standards and also to a lawyer. All ideas I gleaned from previous reviews on this site. Thanks to you all. I was told in the end that the goods were out of stock . I said I wanted my money back. It didn't arrive. Threatened again and the money went back into my account on 21 September. How on earth do these people stay in business!

Nothing back from anybody at Eckman since i started sending them emails and messages in the post.
I have found Chrys Chrysostomou under DIRECT RESPONSE MARKETING GROUP LIMITED which is listed on the bottom of their website so i will try them now. Are they IGNORANT and just ignoring me or ARROGANT and think they are better than everybody else and because they already have you hard earned money they cannot be bothered. Not sure why one of my reviews has been removed i might need to take it up with Trustpilot. Lets hope for a reply but i will not hold my breath. Common Eckman REPLY if you dare.

18th September and still not received. Have just come off another call to be informed the item I ordered at the end of June will be received by Eckman on 22nd September and it will take 7-10 working days for me to receive it after that. So, an item I paid for in June may, if I'm lucky, be received by end of September/early October! If it is not here, legal action will folllow. Trading Standards are being informed also.

Paid for a battery and charger pack at the end of June. Called the order line again today to be told it will be the 11th September before the stock comes into their warehouse and then another 10 days before I receive it. This is the 3rd date I have been given. DO NOT BUY ECKMAN PRODUCTS.

Wow just received my hose. Had more problems with this company than any company I have ever dealt with. One star is too many. Don't buy from this company

Would of been no stars but you can’t do that.
Everything that everyone has put previously.
They don’t hold any stock, so they take your money and order from third party if your lucky!! Don’t reply to emails and it’s a multi agency call centre who can’t help. Told up to 10 days to get money back but I’m calling my bank to report the payment to see if I can stop it before it clears as I have no confidence I will get refund.
Terrible company don’t use.

Placed an order and paid for the next day delivery on August 13th. 12 days later, the order did not arrive and they haven't been replying to any of my e-mails. This is absolutely unacceptable.

I ordered 4 weeks ago gutter traps and was getting anxious when they had not arrived I phoned the company and the woman was very rude and said you will just have to wait. I told her I had no confirmation for the order and she didn’t want to know. I have since sent 3 emails and not had a response to any of them. Please folks don’t use this company.

Having purchased a tall extendable hedge trimmer previously I bought the chain saw which is still under warranty to go with it recently. The shared power pole switch has failed and is out of warranty. Eckman Customer Services on a Premium phone number took 15 minutes to tell me they do not supply any spare parts for this product. They said there was nothing they could do and said I could purchase a whole new one and they would pay the delivery as that would solve the problem. Not a good idea. I am left with a hedge trimmer and chain saw that I cannot use as the power switch is faulty. £150 out of pocket.

I ordered from Eckman on 7th May 2020, a aerosol of'spraynseal, water repellent on a'buy one get one free 'offer, as advertised in their catalogue.
After numerous e-mails(with no reply) I threatened them with legal action if I did not receive the goods ordered, this was on the 2nd June 2020
On 4th June 2020, I received a package from them containing only 1 aerosol of the said item.
I emailed them to let them know, I had no reply as usual.
I then received an email from them saying that the rest of the email was on its way and should be with me in 5-7 working days.
Nothing came, so I contacted the citizens advice bureau, who said to write to them and hold them 'in breach of contract under common law', ask them for a copy of their 'complaints procedure', and to ask if they were members of any dispute organisations.
I have not received any information from them as requested, but the day I posted the letter to them I received the rest of the order, that was 17th July 2020.
It has cost me £4-12p to send 2 signed for letters (£2-6p each).
So from 7th May to 17th July 2020 I have more than badly treated by them. as well as being ignored by them.
Beware future customers, if you are thinking of dealing with them, I never will again, the Trading standards should cast an eye on them!!!?.

Unsatisfactory delivery on Order #OR82837 dated 03-07-2020

I have now been waiting 1 month for a bird feeder that was supposed to be sent 2-3 days after ordering. Trying phoning but kept being passed from department to department without anyone asking me what my enquiry was about. This was at a premium call rate! My emails are not being answered, I wish that I had read these reviews first. Terrible customer service, still no goods but money taken!

Please please please avoid using this company at all costs.. After sending emails which were ignored, I eventually sent one threatening trading standards.. And surprisingly goods arrived... So use this company at your peril!!!

Why is this company allowed to exist . . .they dont answer the phone or emails and their tools are rubbish. I have sent back a duel trimmer but received no refund of the item or the postage what do we do about it has anybody any ideas. I will try referring to BBC Watchdog.

Don't waste your time trying to contact this company. I sent three e-mails requesting product information with no response. I then tried to place an order by telephone and was put on hold twice to eventually be told that someone would call me back, needless to say that never happened. It's not surprising that Amazon command such a large percentage of the on-line shopping market!

It pains me to give 1 star. Do not order from this company. Took money for item with delivery within 48 hours. I’m weeks into this and barely any contact back. Still no item just lies.

This company is atrocious. They seem to advertise stock that they do not have whilst immediately taking full payment. After numerous promises of sending part orders, which never happened, they are very reluctant to refund your money. When they manage to respond to emails, they are very slow and usually fail to carry out what they say they will do. I had to threaten legal action before they gave me my money back. I have just unsubscribed from them and I wonder if they will take any notice of that.

Ordered face masks on the 16th june. Supposedly 48 hour delivery but nothing yet. Phoning is a waste of time (and money) as there is always "more than 5 in the queue". Emailed three times but no reply (NO reply in 24 hours as stated). How is this company still going? I needed them for a hospital visit now will have to buy elsewhere.

awful,awful company to have to deal with ordered a hedge trimmer which ultimately was not in stock, although this wasn't made known at the time I ordered it. Contact eckman to cancel and was met by the worst customer service I have ever experienced, the 'lady' I spoke to couldn't care less, showed zero empathy or personality. Had to make 5 further calls in order to get a refund and still no apology was given. All at a cost which I will never recover.
Their products are cheap tak at best from what I gather so feel like I have dodged one here . If I could give zero star rating I would I asked they stop sending me their catalogue as I will never order with them again, they continue to send the catalogue but is now addressed to the householder not by my name. Just shiws the utter contempt that they have towards customers and their so called customer service

As in other reviews will never use again - if I could would rate as 0. Not publicised that calls to their 0844 number are charged at 27p per minute. So far down about £10 to chase a £15 order which was not sent out properly. Received one part of a BOGOF deal which was broken.

Totally non existent company as far as I can tell. I'm currently looking to claim money back from credit card company.
