I purchased an electric hedge cutter a long reach. It is absolutely useless its heavy the power switch is at the bottom of the long handle and you have to press safety button at same time that's almost impossible and so heavy and out of ballance it's bloody useless. It shows a woman using it in the in the sales pitch that is obviously not true. What a waste of money.

4 stroke strimmer is total junk. Inherited a barely used 4 stroke strimmer from relative, had it professionally serviced , started up ok, did a couple of hours use. Next day would not start, eventually got it going after an hour of messing around, would not rev enough to cut anythung, then repeatedly cut out when full throttle applied . As they they say , buy cheap , buy twice. Ditched it for a Stihl which works beautifully. Lesson learned.

Unsolicited catalogue arrived today but, because of previous experience with a non delivery causing me to claim via my credit card (and these reviews) it has gone straight in the bin. In fact, I ignore anything from DRMG House Cremers Road Sittingbourne.
Simply a retail trading company

Purchased a Telescopic Angled Chainsaw a year ago. Used once and chain broke, tried everywhere to get a replacement with no avail, contacted Eckman direct and was advised the reason I couldnt get a replacement was that the model was possibly an old model. This model is still being advertised on their website!! Customer service by phone or letter - terrible, the latter none existent. Would not recommend.

Don't send dead plants check before sending

This Eckman Telescopic Hedge Trimmer is very heavy to use and cannot be used for more that 5 minutes without putting it down and take a rest not at all suitable for men over 60.
Do not buy - much lighter and better models available for £99 and less..

The product purchased arrived and it works fine. However they sold my phone number to a scam company to sell fake holiday packages "dream holiday for £2.5".. what a way to lose future purchases..

I bought an extending hedgetrimmer in September 2024. It stopped working after using it just 3 times. I arranged for it to be collected but Eckman never told me that it had been received at their end. After much chasing I spoke to them on the phone and told them I wanted a refund. They told me that they couldn't refund, they could only exchange as it had been after 30 days. The person I spoke to on the phone (Edward) was really patronising and just repeated the same thing over and over again. He told me to call back when I was ready to have the exchange. I lodged a complaint through Resolver but they ignored every single message sent. In one last attempt at getting a resolution I sent an email to Eckman directly, attaching all my previous complaints. Within 30 minutes they said a refund would be processed without any explanation. 4 months after my purchase I have received my refund.
AVOID ECKMAN AT ALL COSTS!!

Contacted the company asking for a little extra info about a fence, namely what the bottom gap dimensions were. The reply was that they can't provide any extra information.

I will take my custom elsewhere... glad though as after that response I checked the reviews and they arw terrible, stay clear.

I bought a leaf blower and I am really happy. I nought it to replace my old Bosh one and it is so much easier to use as it has wheels at the bottom (Bosh doesn’t). It arrived the next day even though it said 5 working days.

Product is ok. Not great but ok considering the price. However, ever since I purchased,I have been bombarded with spamming phone calls telling me I am getting product vouchers that never arrive

So Eckman are sharing personal information with 3rd parties, dodgy ones

The long handled hedge trimmer I bought to replace my previous Eckman hedge trimmer (because they couldn’t supply me with the spare part I needed) worked well until a weak point on it broke. Now they tell me they can’t supply that part either and have pointed me in the direction of eBay or Amazon, total joke!!!

They are selling data to a scam company called premier offers who then proceed to harass with nuisance calls. I know this as they quoted my singular purchase from Eckmans as to where they got my details. Eckmans have been informed by me & I’ve reported both to the ICO. Considering Eckmans target market & reading horror stories of people being scammed out of considerable sums on here I would advise everyone to avoid this company as the source of the data breach.

I have sent 3 emails to all ekman about the wrong drill sent plus the drill sent had no drill bits.
All have been blocked. What a dreadful company.
I will not be buying anything from them in the future.27

Recently purchased the electric weed cleaner EKDT3001 for cleaning my brick drive and patio. Does the job nicely BUT the cleaning brushes wear down quickly and Eckman are unable to supply any spare parts. Very poor customer service

Bought a power brush for my artificial grass. Arrived promptly. Well before the anticipated delivery date. Securely packaged. Does the job. No issues at all.

Lawn mower would not operate from new , phoned eckman help line on mower they wasn't interested at all said I will have to contact amazon, worst customer care I've ever known

Please be aware that this company is associated with a dubious outfit called Premier Offers Direct which purports to be a cashback service but charge around £70 for this.
They will cold call you and try to get you to sign up.

They already have your financial details.

This is because iif you purchase items from Eckman, they will pass your financial details to this company, which may be a breach of GDPR regulations

Premier Offers Direct will contact you later to try to sell you a discount scheme for shopping which will result in money being taken from your account even if you try to cancel. You will have to get your bank involved for any redress.

If you research Eckman you will see their trading address is exactly the same one as Premier Offers Direct which is very suspicious and very probably they are the same organisation.

I strongly recommend that you do not under any circumstances give Eckman your financial details or you will most probably scammed by their other company.

Phoned about a replacement part for a hedge Trimmer, very very unhelpful couldn't look up part number by model number or even try to rectify my problem, won't buy thier tools again ever, DO NOT ENTERTAIN THEM

Bought this 40v cylinder lawn mower. arrived 2 days earlier than indicated by Amazon. Looked good at first when taken out of the box but on closer inspection found lots of weak plastic components. The plastic height adjustment roller moves out of position very easily even when tightened fully as it pivots due to only one screw holding it at both ends, Scalped the lawn due to this. There is no height indicator to help you to level up both sides.
Not a good design in my opinion due to cheap plastic components used. The manual provided is very poorly written with poor quality pics. Can't verify if I have parts missing as the roller should not move once its in position.
Stronger composite components instead of the cheap plastic bits would have made this product much much better.
