Stinker of a company. Won't deal with complaints or acknowledge or refund. THE worst company I've ever had dealings with or NOT as they refuse to offer a solution & are useless. No refund. I bought a telescopic tree lopper and hedge trimmer. Utter junk. Avoid avoid avoid!!! Read all the reviews.

I ordered an extending hedging tool, It took over a month to arrive, because of stock issues, then when it did it was faulty - a broken tightening screw fixing so it couldn't be used. I was worried as soon as it arrived as the packaging inside looked "repaired"- torn bubble wrap selotaped together badly as if it was a returned product- which i can't prove but suspect is the case. They now have me jumping through hoops to get my money back - won't return it until I return it, print stickers, wait at home for their delivery driver etc.etc.etc. They took my money the same day I made the order whilst I waited for delivery but won't return the favour. I say NEVER use this appalling company.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.. totally let down and disappointed by Eckman. I ordered a new bag for my garden vac/blower. On arrival it had a square attachment unlike the one in the description and picture on the website that I ordered. Cost £14.99 with £6 delivery. Item not as advertised or described yet Eckman expect me to return at my own cost (£4/5) in order to get the £14.99 back as they don’t refund any postage, on top of that no apology for their mis-leading description/pictures.

Read your rights in the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which replaced the Sale of Goods act.

Ordered a cordless extendable hedge trimmer and chainsaw. No order confirmation or receipt received. (This appears to be not unusual with this company). When the item arrived it was the corded version rather than the cordless. I contacted them and was told to return the item and a refund would be issued. Ive had an email today saying a refund will follow in 3-5 working days but they will not refund the postage as this was deemed to be my error.

DISGUSTING seller of all personal information. I get very upsetting offers constantly from cremation and funeral providers who confirm they got my information from Eckman.
This is a shameful and zero ethics company.

I ordered some Halogen Oven accessories 4th December 2023, payment taken the day after. No confirmation email received, Checked the status of the order, it says Cancelled. I've contacted the company by email stating the order number and the items ordered , asking what is happening, if I'm not receiving the goods I need a refund, to date I have not heard anything back from them. Just emailed them again. Let's see what, if anything happens. Wish I had read reviews before I ordered
NB. Today I have received a refund from Eckman, however I have emailed them, the items I ordered are still showing on the website as in stock and available to order. Halogen steamer pan and Halogen Frying pan. Hope they remove these items and nobody else orders them

I bought a scarifier from Eckman in 2012 which worked well enough for a few years until I had problems with the switch. In April 2021 I decided to get a new one and gave Eckman the benefit of the doubt, buying their EKESA02 model.

You only need to use these products a few times a year so it was certainly not overworked when I turned it on in early October 2023, only to find it didn’t start. There is no helpful manual to turn to, so I started testing the electricity supply. In the end I was disappointed, but not surprised, to discover that the switch was not working, just like the first one.

I emailed Eckman requesting their help but received a simple reply saying I was out of warranty and should take it to a garden equipment repair centre. They also said they have no repair service of their own. They offered no technical assistance of any kind.

What particularly annoyed me is the way they simply refused to get involved or give me any practical help regarding their own product.

I replied saying I would never buy anything from them again and would urge others to do the same. Sending this review is at least one way to warn against this company’s after sales service.

You would think a brochure with a Sunday paper could be trusted - absolutely not - since buying a hose in June 2023 we have just discovered he has been scammed via his credit card by Premier Offers to the tune of £50 via 3 separate payments. Scammers, avoid at all costs!!!

Bought an extending hedge trimmer. Used it less than ten times and the two months after the one year warranty expired, it stopped working. No repair service or replacement parts. Product not fit for purpose if it breaks after 14 months and customer service were useless.

Despite numerous attempts to unsubscribe I am still plagued with cold calls from companies they are addicted with or have passed on my details

Sold my bank details to another company from something I purchased 2 years ago. Do not buy from here

Absolutely shocking. Bought some. They were dead. They sent me some more which i thought was good of them. They were dead. So they sent some more and yes believe or not they are all dead stems as well. Have taken pics each time and sent them. So much easier just going and buting from a garden centre. You have been warned. Lol

Do not buy from this company! Ordered 3 freedom lite batteries on 3 separate occasions and had to return all 3 batteries because none of them worked! On the third attempt to buy a battery I ordered direct from eckman website and had to provide proof of postage and they’ve just sent a cheque for £4.19 to reimburse my postage?! Who on earth sends cheques in this day and age when all the banks have closed and for such a small amount?! Despite complaining about having to return 3 batteries there was no offer of compensation or assurances that I ordered a further (4th!!!) battery, that they would guarantee it would work. Have now given up trying to get a battery for my grumpy, demanding dad! Told him he will have to source himself as fed up to the back teeth of wasting my precious time. My dad has said he will never buy Eckman products again and neither will anyone I speak to. Life is stressful enough without this shockingly bad customer service. And I see from other reviews they sell your personal details to scammers. What a company! Just closed down and stop making everyone’s lives more stressful than they need to be!!

Item ordered was OK, but the company sold my details on to scammers and I've been plagued by phone calls from the latter (who always seem to know what I ordered, which is how I know the origin) ever since

I wanted a spare part for my hedge trimmer so contacted customer services who took so long to answer me back and when they did they said they wouldn't help me because they couldn't find my details on their system, I said why do you need my details all I want to do is order a spare part for a machine I,d bought from you. They insisted that they needed all my details, so now I have a machine which is no good all I want is a spare part, think Twice before buying anything from Eckman their customer services are s**t and won't help you.

£200 hedge trimmer needed a new bolt as one has fallen off. They don’t support replacement parts even after just 2.5 years and very little use. Really poor customer service. And like a lot of other people I received lots of junk mail and calls after the original purchase. Buy from a better known brand next time. Wish I’d checked Trustpilot first.

This company sell your details to a scam company. Scam caller knew all about my purchase and my personal details. They wanted me to pay for postage to receive money off vouchers. Wish I had checked reviews here first. Cancelled my credit card as a matter of caution.

One star too much. Eckman hose is fine.BUT we have been harassed by a number reported as a scam. They are awful. Want us to sign up to their gardening club at £10pm, with promise of free plants etc. Did not agree. They say we have! Complained. Complained and complained. Advised by bank to stop credit card as they could put a recurring payment on.
