I also bought a sun lamp on the 25th feb. They were quick enough to send an email confirming order but then never heard back. Now in the hands of my bank. Wish I'd read these reviews first 🙄

I bought a su lamp on Feb 22. Had email to confirm but nothing since. No communication. Will never use again and wish had read reviews. Now have to go through my bank to get refund.

1 star but would leave 0 if possible ordered trio of fruit trees looking at picture and description this was an amazing deal what received were 3 sticks grafted onto a root system with barely any roots will be surprised if I get anything from my sticks for at least 3 years. P**s poor!! Do not waste your money on this

Absolutely dreadful experience I Ordered the item on on Sunday And paid for the 24 hour delivery which cost 10 pounds extra I called them this morning as it keeps saying my order was being processed This is 3 days after my Order I have ask for a refund and been told I have to wait 5 working days before the money to go back to my account why did I not put up on the site that the Item was out of stock I've heard so many bad reviews And wished that I had looked on trustpilot before I ordered

Ordered a set of wireless headphones off these jokers and paid for 48hr dispatch, over a week later nothing, so I emailed them and no reply. AVOID THESE SCAMMERS AT ALL COSTS! wish I came here first lol

Horrified to read in Eckman catalogue they are offering a product made from shark cartilage! Does this company not realise that sharks an endangered species and it is totally unacceptable to offer this product. Please do not order anything from this disreputable company.

Ordered stair gates over 19 days and have heard nothing. No reply to my email either. I wished I’d read the feedback. Shame on this company.

This company employs imbeciles to answer its premium rate phone lines who are so inefficient that you’re on for ages racking up huge bills. They take orders for things that aren’t in stock. Avoid

Don’t use this company, paid next day delivery nothing ever came , tried contacting the company with no luck, reported to my Freud card company and waiting to get my money back.

terrible delivery no communication

I was actually trying to give NO STARS on here, what a joke of a so called company, I placed an order on 05/01/2021 and payed £4.99 for fast delivery but I received nothing, after emailing and calling the PREMIUM rate number several times I gave up and managed to get my £84.98 back through my bank...please do not use these scammers people.

Until recently I had never heard of this company, so when their leaflet came through my letterbox, although sceptical, I decided to purchase some pansies from them on the 7th December. Unfortunately at the time of writing this review I still had not received them, and there was no way of me tracking the order because for some reason there was no tracking facility.

I called them today to progress chase and had to wait half an hour before some-one even answered the phone. Basically to cut a long story short I decided that I no longer wanted to deal with them as the trust was gone, so I asked for my money back!

I wished that I had read all of the reviews before placing an order from them, as I can't believe how many negative reviews there are, to the point where I am really surprised that Trading Standards hasn't got involved. This was my first order and definitely my last!

Paid £4.99 for fast delivery, 2 weeks later still not here, whats going on with this bunch.
Dreadful Service

This company must be in a lot of trouble. Having recently ordered and received something from them (quite satisfactorily), I am now getting lots of emails pertaining to be from them. But, when I click on them to unsubscribe or view in browser, my internet security software has a very protective dicky-fit. I have forwarded one of the emails to the government phishing thingymajig to investigate and alerted Eckman themselves (assuming they will take notice and take action).

Decided to write a second review, because things got worse. Having failed to get an adequate response from Eckman regarding returning this product (unused) I gave in and started using it. It broke within 30 minutes of use. They charged £14.99 for the product ( a self-coil hose) and £4.99 delivery, on top of the charge to use the customer order line (which is hidden in the small print). They took a month to reply to each of my emails. Given their delaying tactics it is now well past the returns date, and they refuse to pay the postage, despite supplying a defective product

Ordered a telescopic chain saw 12/10/20 and delivered 16/10/20 easy to assemble and used today a very robust product tackles thick branches without effort.
If eckman had just sent me a e mail confirming purchase and replied to mine this firm would have a lot higher rating

Ordered a stair gate on Saturday and paid extra for express delivery ( 24 hr). When it hadn’t arrived by Wednesday I phoned them to be told it was still at their warehouse and not out for delivery, but they are not doing express delivery at present.
They had no issue taking my money , but not bothered to communicate or update their web site . I will not be in any hurry to use them again.

I have recently ordered a tyre pump from this firm and must say that I had no trouble at all with their service. The item was delivered within the week, well packed and with nothing missing!., it works well and my husband has no complaints ...it was a special offer and was exactly as expected ...thankyou Eckman ...from Patricia Allam

Ordered a fuschia, got a seedling in a box, ruined with the mud all over the insides of the box. Its not even a fuschia! A note in the box says 'due to covid 19, your order might be a different plant or seedling yada yada' Stop hiding behind Covid 19 for poor tradesmanship! You can't say something is in stock on the website then send something completely different! If you know that item isn't in stock, then don't say it is! I've never been more shocked at a company in my life, and I ordered alot of things online! Please don't order from this company. They need investigating.
