Great experience
I only had 5 days to spend money from a healthcare spending account. I was able to order and pay for my hearing aids in time to use or lose this money. Great customer service and an outstanding product.

Many mistakes but in the end they fixed it
I purchased a Widex accessory on the phone. The email I received showed the wrong item so I called immediately. Second email showed the correct item but they shipped me something else entirely (not even the first wrong item). Called again and they emailed me a return label for the item I needed to send back and gave me a discount for the accessory I needed. They even expedited the shipping. This time I received the correct thing. My guess (emphasis on guess) is that they know a lot about hearing aids but not so much about accessories, at least the Widex ones. Everyone I spoke to was very nice and understanding.

Competitive pricing. Great customer service
The website is Easy to navigate. Customer service is very prompt to respond when I have questions or issues with the product, which is rare. The pricing is so much better than what I can get locally. Normally, I choose to buy local, however, with a savings of over $1000, I have to choose Direct Hearing. I’ve been very happy with my purchase.

Easy Instructions and Diagrams - 3 Ways
The most important to me was the several sets of instructions. They were clear, with diagrams, covered everything I wanted to know. I didn't have to talk to anyone, just followed the directions, charged the Oticon Real 1 hearing aid, put it on and began wearing it! Now I hear every word from the person I'm speaking with. The charger is attractive in the bedroom, and easy to always use the right way round.

Lost a star because service was…
Lost a star because service was difficult to get a response to a failed hearing aid. After the Christmas holiday I called the main number and finally talked to Breck who figured out the problem and sent the needed parts when they were back in stock.

Second set of hearing aids I purchased
And purchased hearing aids for just under $2,000 they were based on an audiogram. I then tried phonak. Through direct I purchased a pair. They are better in every respect. Online support excellent. They actually did a full audio evaluation while I was wearing my hearing aids online, watching me as I responded to them. I highly would highly recommend.
