Not sure which purchase is being inquired about here. So…. 1) hearing aid purchase through Trey was EASY and painless. Great guy, great help. 2). Order for #4 wires - longer than the 3s they came with - was wrong. Got a 4R and a 3R wire. 3). Correction order for wires is pending, due in 5/5. Today is 5/4.

Replaced broken component immediately. Fast, efficient!

The company itself is wonderful I would give it five stars. The widex hearing aid on the other hand could be better. They give you Bluetooth capability but yet the music you listen to is not up to par. And trying to answer the phone while I'm Bluetooth is very difficult when you're out in public. I wish they could take the good things from both the Ric and the moment and put them together and just have one really good hearing aid and charger setup. I have had the old version of widex before and honestly I feel like it was better than the newer versions. The wind noise is terrible in the newer versions and you also hear a background noise on and off.

I have given Direct Hearing 3 stars, primarily due to the experience I had with the automated phone service after purchase.

The pros of Direct Hearing are in the cost of the devices, significantly less than the recommended Provider from my insurance company. That is what drove me to Direct Hearing in the first place. The other Pro was the fitting with the audio specialist which I had yesterday. They seemed knowledgeable, respectful, answered all of my questions, and took as much time as I needed. They also agreed to send me new pieces of hardware because the fit is not 100% right with the hearing aids I ordered.

The biggest con I have is that the live person who took my order made sure I knew how to upload my audiology report so that the hearing aids could be configured for my hearing loss and then sent to me with my prescription -- this failed to happen and they arrived with a "generic" setting. Another con is that it took more than four telephone calls to get my initial questions answered. The automated phone service forced me to go through a validation at the beginning of each phone call and then, each and every time I was to be transferred to a live expert -- the automated phone service disconnected me and hung up. Four times! Another con is that the product did not arrive with a proper receipt that I could digitize and forward to my insurance company. Again, I requested that a receipt be sent to me via email and over voicemail with the phone tree and it never happened. Finally, I went to the website for Direct Hearing and found a different telephone number for product services, and this phone number actually connected to a live person. After literally an hour and a half of frustration with the phone tree the live person was able to resolve my issues.

My experience was extraordinary! Sorry that I can’t recall the name of my agent, but he was patient, kind, knowledgeable, professional, and engaging while maintaining a problem-solving attitude. His experience was obvious in that he wasn’t guided by a checklist or booklet; he was familiar with all aspects of my hearing requirements and was able program my hearing aides perfectly.

When I got the price of my hearing aids from a local Audiologist I was in shock, $6800... I went on line and spoke to a Direct Hearing representative and was quoted $2700 for the exact same devices. I sent them my hearing test results, they set up my hearing aids and I had them in a few days. I was apprehensive at first but I was surprised when I got them. They contacted me to set up a telemed visit. They did a hearing test and made some adjustment over the phone. They were thorough, professional and I couldn't be happier. Iwas reminded, I have lifetime telemed visits if I need adjustments or have questions. I am so happy, that now my husband is going to replace his hearing aids with a better model. I definitely recommend Direct Hearing.

I’m still waiting for the retainer that holds the hearing aid in the ear and the instruction book.

Good experience with the rep and excellent results from the 'over the phone' line hearing test. My Zeals have exceeded my expectations and am hearing things I did not know existed.

I purchased 3 weeks ago. I spoke with a person 1 week later just because I complained!! I can't use the hearing aids due to no service. Your service reps are good about changing appointments not keeping them!
