I purchased a new vehicle where the manufacturer does not provide a GAP insurance. I am already an existing customer with Direct GAP and purchased a new policy. Website straight forward to understand and when I rang up I was connected straight away to a helpful advisor. If you buy a car on finance worth having a GAP insurance. A close family member had a GAP policy and a week before the expiry date their car was written off as a result of a car accident. Their GAP policy paid out.

Direct gap are willimg to take your cash,but to pay out for a claim. NO. My experience is as follows.They want a claim form.Already submitted.They have lost it They also require the following 1 vehicle sales form 2finance agreement 3 finance settlement. Due to the passage of time and a defective laptop i no longer have this information.There are 3 firms who specialise in checking outstanding car finance,they refuse to contact them The price of all new cars is easily obtained from a dealer All these actions were taken by my main insurance firm and they paid out on my total loss car in 2 weeks DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY GOING WITH THIS COMPANY
