I took out a second policy with them, as again they were the best priced and the most comprehensive. Was particularly impressed that they called me to remind me to cancel the old policy if I no longer had the vehicle. They actioned this over the phone and a pro rata rebate was back in my account almost instantly.

We approached Gap Insurance as a local business after buying a new Land Rover Discovery Sport.

The policy offered by Gap insurance was longer and more comprehensive than the one offered by the main dealer. Gap Insurance was also less than half the price of the main dealers inferior policy!

Gap insurance were great to deal with, fully explaining terms and any queries.

I've dealt with GAPinsurance.co.uk for well over a decade. Each time I purchase a car, I ask them to (re)arrange GAP cover for me; and every time, I find the customer service to be extremely helpful, proactive, knowledgeable and efficient. Moreover, the variety of policies available are, in my experience, unmatched both in terms of cover and price; but, as they say, 'the proof of the pudding is in the eating!'

Invariably, insurers receive positive reviews at the point of purchase - but rarely are they updated when a claim is made. However, whilst I had hoped never to make a claim against a GAP policy, I had cause to do so recently when my car was declared a total loss as the result of a no-fault collision. From reporting the incident to the final pay-out, GAPinsurance.co.uk demonstrated that they meet their obligations in full and with no fuss - which was really appreciated during a most stressful time.

Consequently, as soon as I purchased a replacement new car, I contacted GAPinsurance.co.uk to arrange cover for it: I had no reason to look elsewhere! So, if you're looking for a GAP provider that values your business and offers a policy you can rely on then GAPinsurance.co.uk must be your first (and only) choice.

After leaving a message Brian Promptly gave me a call back. He obviously had a great deal of car dealership experience and took time to explain to me the different products on the market and how they worked and a refeshingly honest opinion on everything. Their price was competitive too.I wouldn't bother looking anywhere else.

Great experience with Brian, who gave me great advice. I didn't end up buying insurance from Gapinsurance but that is because I was advised (correctly) that perhaps it is not suited to my purpose. Thank you Brian and I will definitely get back for a new quote on my next car.

Initially had issues insuring my Lotus Emira but Mervyn at GapInsure managed to sort it all out for me in less than 24 hrs and got me cover. Super happy with my experience.

The best? I think so they may not be the cheapest, but cover and customer service is excellent.

I have used them 4 times now since 2015 and they even give a small discount for return customers.

In Feb 2022 was looking for GAP insurance for new Volvo. Google search brought up many companies with big marketing budgets, but checking Trustpilot and other reviews put me off.

I came across GAPinsurance.co.uk, saw that they were not too far from me and phoned them. It was so refreshing to actually speak to someone in the UK, that listened and understood what I wanted and came up with a competitive quote, so I took GAP with them. Fast forward to Nov 22, selling the car and no longer require GAP. Phoned and again great service, told that I would get a pro rata refund that I would receive in a few days, but it was actually in my account the following day.
I highly recommend this business and have no connection other than being a satisfied customer.
