we have been with Creature Comforts for quite some time now and would recommend them to any of our friends and family and have done. always had very friendly and helpful staff always greeted with a smile . they take the time to get to know you and your pets .
they are good value for money too

I honestly couldn’t recommend this vets highly enough. I recently moved from my old vets whose pricing on medication prescribed was over 100% mark up.

On joining the company were beyond generous and made exemptions for me to be able to join comfortably in the beginning.

The whole team at creature comforts is absolutely fantastic — caring, professional, knowledgeable and, most importantly, they genuinely care about the animals they look after.

I was in reception and I overheard a vet asking the receptionist to call and check up how a client and her pet was doing .

This is above and beyond and shows the level of care even when their clients are at home recouping they are in their thoughts.

I’ve felt listened to and not rushed.

You can tell that the priority is the wellbeing of your pet, rather than simply trying to sell you unnecessary treatments or services.

I also really appreciate how reasonably priced they are. Their medication costs are fair and sensible, which makes such a difference when you have a pet who needs ongoing treatment. You never get that feeling of being ripped off or charged for things you don’t need.

It’s so reassuring to have a vets you can trust, knowing that your pets are in safe and caring hands. A genuinely lovely team who go above and beyond. I wouldn’t want to take my pets anywhere else now ! ❤️🐾

We also love the membership programme, which gives us easy access to support through the app and makes speaking to a vet feel simple, accessible and reassuring whenever we need it.

Every interaction I have had since getting my kittens has been wonderful, no questions are deemed daft. Information and instructions given has been clear, precise and with beloved pets kept at forefront. All staff I have met so far all genuinely love animals, and it come across clearly. All in all if you are looking for a vet that cares and then this is the one for you. The monthly access all area subscription is a great price for peace of mind to have about your furry family.

I just had an amazing experience with my Maltipoo Dotty at Notting Hill . Laura the vet was amazing with Dotty . And got right to the root of Dottys problem . She was so kind with her. , extremely professional and efficient.

Very impressed. My dog was seen in an emergency over the weekend when her vet wouldn’t see her before Monday. Grass seed now removed and she is resting at home. The team was lovely and saved her days of pain.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Creature Comforts in Putney. The availability of the vets is incredible and it is very easy to get a time sensitive appointment. The reception team are always so welcoming and the Treat wall is a huge hit with Bramble. The wait time has thus far been incredibly minimal and I have been seen pretty much on time every single appointment. It’s always such a friendly environment with other pet owners being incredibly chatty and happy to talk whilst waiting. The vets themselves are so knowledgeable and offer superb quality of care. I cannot fault Creature Comforts in any way and highly recommend them to any pet owner that wants top quality and affordable pet care. Thank you to the entire Putney Team!

Fab vets and service. Really lovely decor and welcome from staff. Our vet Nick was very tentative and knowledgeable. Our cats were well looked after.

They are very kind and understanding , they have a vet Ele who is absolutely amazing, saying that all the others also do a fantastic job.

First visit experience – good vet, but watch out for the bill stacking

My cat’s been taken care of by mobile vet nurses from a mobile vet clinic and unfortunately during the last bathing and ear cleaning session they aggravated an infection. On top of that they blamed my poor cat for it and they no longer want to provide a service. It’s heartbreaking to know that before I adopted him, he was someone’s pet, got thrown out, was attacked by a fox, then I’ve found him and he is just an absolute love bug 💗Therefore I am anxious to find a reliable and safe vet, I hope this practice is the one for us and he finally gets the life he deserves 💗

About Creature Comfort Mill Hill;

This was our first visit here. The practice is still quite new, and the facilities were very clean. We arrived 10 minutes early (they request you arrive 5 minutes early), but we ended up waiting 15 minutes past our appointment time, meaning we were sitting there for nearly half hour total. Throughout the wait, most of the staff didn’t even say hello or acknowledge us. It wasn't until I spoke up and mentioned they might have forgotten about us that someone finally sat down and talked to us.
On the bright side, the vet was friendly, professional, and handled my CHONKY cat with great care.
He gave us a multi purpose medication for the ear infection and it is already working wonders after 2 days. After the visit my cat was totally calm! Couldn’t believe it 😅
The most important thing to keep in mind here: before you agree to any recommended treatments or extras, make sure you ask about the price upfront. They tend to pile things on without discussing costs as they go, and you'll get hit with a hefty surprise at the end. Just something to watch out for! I was previously subscribed to a different vet with higher price but less professional and less equipped. Since my cat is FIV+ for me the subscription is worth for this price as I most likely have to take him to the vet more frequently.

About the prices; I cannot believe how many people don’t have insurance then complain about the prices. The vet practices aren’t a charity and not a basic health service like the NHS for humans.

I would also like to mention that the manager is very empathetic, friendly and cares about the clients. Before I visited I had an issue with their booking system, but she sorted everything out.

The reason I did not give 5 star is because the vet informed me about the charge for the tests after he already started running them. As with medical background I do know it was something that was required for a treatment. He also told me when the tests after a comes back we discuss if he gave the right combination of drops and he will be refunding me if not. He called me promptly after about 2 hours, was reassuring, was patiently answering all of my questions.
For now I feel the service we have received was reasonably priced, staff could’ve been more efficient and friendly, but I was satisfied.

I couldn't recommend enough.
Do get their subscription, totally worth it. I had a question and posted on their online service - quick response with solutions.
I was particularly pleased with how Dr Allcock carried out Dolmush' check up- on the floor with our dog, gently doing the checks without getting him anxious on the table. Our dog was sitting happily on his lap at the end. Clinic gave us an application quickly when our dog needed help, explained all procedures clearly, avoided pushing for unnecessary tests. Do not hesitate - especially for nervous pets (they have blankets ready to spray a calming natural lotion to wrap your dog if need be...how nice is that!
The reception staff are lovely too.

What a difference from my other vet experiences! It's so nice to easily be able to book appointments and communicate with the team through the app. Everyone is so nice and it feels like there's a lot more continuity of care with Creature Comforts than other vets. Even just having a nice waiting room and being offered a drink on arrival makes a huge difference to the experience for us pet parents!

Creature Comforts in St John’s Wood have been excellent in caring for our two cats over the long term. They take the time to understand each cat’s individual needs, provide thoughtful ongoing advice, and tailor their approach as circumstances change. Their bespoke treatments and carefully planned care have given us great confidence in managing our cats’ health and wellbeing.

Most recently, one of our cats became critically ill over the weekend and, quite simply, their prompt intervention and exceptional treatment saved his life. The team responded quickly, adapted his care to his specific condition, and supported us with clear explanations and reassurance throughout his recovery.

Everyone at the practice has been highly professional, compassionate and attentive. We are enormously grateful for everything they have done, both in providing dedicated long-term care and in delivering personalised treatment when it mattered most. We would strongly recommend Creature Comforts to anyone seeking outstanding veterinary care from a team they can truly trust.

Registered my dog Peaches with Creature Comforts SJW the second they opened and never looked back! You just cannot find another vet experience like this in the UK.

Creature Comforts are the only 'full service' veterinary clinic I've encountered in London. In Europe these are commonplace: general medicine, specialists, and surgery in-house. You know your vets, they know your pet, and it's the same friendly faces every time.

Peaches has now had at least 1 surgery, 1 echo, and 1 tummy bug no one will ever forget that required her to be in-clinic for recovery / care. The team go above and beyond taking care of your pet, cuddles and all. Above that you get update pictures (which are always the cutest), constant check-ins through the app, and honestly the most loving atmosphere.

Never pushing unnecessary treatments, transparent with pricing (which by UK standards is unusually reasonable), always listening to the owners too, and never rushing through.

I couldn't recommend the clinic and team more. My dog now goes there thinking it's a social outing. Many local dogs, including Peaches, do often stop by just to say hello :)

Extra special love to Dr Rebecca, Dr Evie, Dr David, Amy and Imogen who have been looking after Peaches since day 1!

When our little dog, Georgie, became very poorly, we were blown away by how much time was spent talking us through the options.
Tests started straight away. Treatment started straight away.
No waiting around. No “let’s wait and see”. Just positive action.
Georgie had to stay for a couple of days for treatment, and Creature Comforts kept us updated by phone throughout. We also received photos of her relaxing in her own private bed and recovery pod 📸
She even had her own screen so she could watch her favourite programmes while she recovered. She’s a huge Crufts fan, so she was very happy indeed!
Honestly, I’ve stayed in hotels that didn’t offer facilities anywhere near that quality 😊
And just to be clear, we are not talking about crazy Harley Street prices either.
With a £20 monthly membership, our total spending on Georgie’s treatment came in at less than a standard vet.
When the insurance company rejected our claim, Creature Comforts stepped in and offered to write a letter to challenge the decision.
That kind of support means everything.
