Breakaway Experiences Anmeldelser

Easy gift giving ideas!

I've used Breakaway a few times now and it never disappoints! Such a variety of options, prices and fun gifts! Customer service is above par! You should check it out!

What an excellent way to give a gift of experiences, especially to people that are normally hard to buy for! I have purchased from Breakaway more than once and have been extremely pleased every time. HIGHLY recommend!!!

It was very easy to book and once the certificates were activated, calling and organizing our events was very convenient!

we wanted to give our son and daughter in law something different for their wedding anniversay... we found your site very easy to use and were able to forward the gift experience directly to them.

we will probably use this site again for other gifts to our children and grandchildren .

Who is looking for excellent gift experience this is the place to go!

Overall, it was a decent experience. The signing up and initial logging in could have been simpler. The game play was engaging. One suggestion to the programmers - there is a number of times when you have to link to a website, but the link is just typed and not a hyper-link, which would have made it much easier and faster to play.

My first time dealing with Breakaway Experiences and they were amazing. User friendly website and the customer service was wonderful. Friendly, timely and extremely helpful. Would highly recommend them!

A group of three of us played The Brotherhood, Part 1. It was so much fun! Well organized, easy to use, and a great way to spend an evening together with friends, while remaining physically distanced during COVID stay-at-home requirements. Thank you!

Jean benoit was our superior pilot who provided the flight of a lifetime with a vast information of the geographical area, population and wildlife. Very accommodating and friendly. 5 stars.

The team at Breakaway Experiences are AMAZING. I will always refer Breakaway to anyone especially come Christmas time again. I am usually busier then a bee 99% of my days and Michael was beyond patient with MY responses! SO HAPPY AND SO EXCITED TO DO THE FAT TIRE EXPERIENCE!!!! =D

We were able to book what we had wanted through the website, however, after purchasing our order we were not given any additional information. The email sent to us confirming our purchase did not explain how we could book our dates and times with the “experience” we had selected and any other necessary information. I had sent a message through Breakaway Experiences’ website requesting additional information and I had emailed a few days later. Nothing. No one contacted me for some direction. I finally called and was told I needed to log into my account and then told I had to go through a couple of steps before I would find a phone number in which I would called the company directly to set up my dates and times.

The lack of information and unnecessary steps required to book an “experience” has me convinced that I will not be recommending or using Breakaway Experience in the near future.

Game was great! Setup was a bit tricky / long - could be simplified I feel.

Never heard of you until I came across you at Christmas time. I have purchased 2 experiences as a Christmas gift and a birthday gift. I plan on buying more. People are excited when they get them. What a great idea.

Great game! Unique experience! Appreciate the detail and effort that went into creating it.

The overall mystery itself was clever and the clues interesting and a providing a challenge and could be a 5 star event. Reasons for giving only 3 stars are related to the initial instructions, background info and some technical glitches.
- after choosing the correct bar in the first clue, we were suddenly on the ship and did not see any information in the bar or any kind of transition to being on the ship.
- the timer did not seem to work on some phones for the timed clues
- we were "cut-off" at the end which was really frustrating. Seemed to jump to "done" and would have been good to get the results right away which didn't happen. We were playing on Zoom in different locations and the ending was a bit of a dis-appointment for everyone.

A little too complicated given it's 2020. I am going in circles trying to book my "experience" that is more expensive than buying it straight from the service provider. Fine, you have to make your money. However, why can't I see the availability for an experience on a calendar before I purchase an experience? Why can't I book online. Why does it require calling the service provider?

You're telling me that a digital gift requires a phone call, a number that is listed in small font on the bottom of the page, when the service provider has their own website and calendar where you can book online?

I won't use this gift certificate system until all bookings are online... Like AirBnB, Turo, and every other booking service in 2020.

Was really easy to book the experience, and liked that the gift was able to be emailed to the recipient.
Also liked the many options of experiences that they offer.

Only disappointment was that I was expecting the Email to the Gift Recipient to go to the recipient in Their Time Zone. Email went out too early as it was based on ET and didn’t stipulate that.
Also, I just wanted to buy the GC, which you cannot do without “Registering”.
