It is insane that I am required to commit to paying for an experience that is nonrefundable BEFORE I can even book the session. What if someone doesn't have a flexible schedule and there are no bookings available for when they're in town? I'm only doing this because I had a gift card to use, but I'm pretty confident I'll never use Breakaway Experiences again.

Using the Breakaway Experiences site is so easy and completely reliable. The gift experiences I have purchased worked out beautifully for the recipients who found the booking process (and even the exchange process) fast and straight-forward. This is a great way to try new things or provide someone with a fun and exciting adventure. There are so many wonderful choices available.

I would never even have heard of many of these experiences if I had not been gifted a breakaway experience!

Amber, our captain, was terrific. She was knowledgeable about all the typical sight-seeing components of our tour, but also super knowledgeable about explaining the biology and geography we were seeing as well, including the environmental issues impacting the region. I loved that.

It was rather marvelous to be out there in the rain, at a time when not everyone in the world was competing to be on the water. A real endorphin rush.

The process of getting to the correct location was not easy. Too many things going on at the same time and no signs to tell you where to go. The experience itself was great but too short for the $.

When I first saw this website I was little skeptical because I have never heard about this before, and finally I purchased an experience certificate and I am very happy. The cost was low when I compared with the actual website of the company for which I am looking for. The customer service was awsome. They are very supportive all the time.

I have never kayaked before and Jada was the Best Instructor I could have imagined. She provide excellent instruction, adjusted to my requirements and provided a friendly atmosphere. I would recommend this tour, not only for the inexperienced, because the instructors adjusts to your level. Additional benefits include touring new places, learning new things, and having company on the journey.

all they do is take your money. You have to 1) somehow confirm your reservation 2) call or try to email the venue to make a time and date for your "experience". good luck trying to contact, and good luck trying to reserve in a timely manner.

We had issues scheduling due to Covid, then the event we wanted not available. Michael was very helpful and responsive.

I just wanted to book a balloon flight in Saskatoon for the middle of July. I was not able to contact them directly and had to go through Breakaway Experiences. I did not, nor did I want, a gift card and I wasn't able to check if there were flights available for when I was going to be there. I was given an Experience number and an order number as well as a gift card code, but when I go to book the flight it asks for a Voucher ID and an authorization Code. It wasn't until I spent quite some time calling Sundance through a number of dropped calls, the we figured out that the vouchers were never sent
