We have used this company for a number of holiday lets over the last three or four years.
Without exception we have found the office staff helpful and efficient, the holiday homes of good quality, comfortable, warm and well equipped and the prices reasonable.
Our latest stay at The Breakers at Porth Cornwall was very enjoyable indeed. A big, beautiful house to accomodate 5 adults, 4 children and a dog, was worth every penny and provided a special family / birthday celebration setting difficult to better. The amazing chocolate cake made and delivered by a neighbour as part of the welcome package was a delightful bonus and totally fitting for the birthday occasions!
We would recommend to anyone (and often do!).

We stayed at Brackenbank at Torpoint and it was wonderful! The accommodation was exactly like the photographs, as we opened the doors we all said WOW! Very comfortable and the views are amazing! We explored the local area everyday & relaxed every evening in front of the log burner with a glass of wine, absolutely blissful! Well equipped, comfortable, stylish everything we wanted for a break away. Booking was easy, great communication. Now looking to where to stay next. Highly recommended, thank you so much 🥰

We stayed at Point Break on Perranporth Beach and had the most amazing stay.
The property was luxurious and well equipped and had the best views of our favourite beach.
Can’t wait to stay again.

Booked with Beach Retreats before and they are so very helpful throughout the whole process, from booking to dealing with queries and also when problems occur. No delays in speaking to someone and they are able to deal with things straight away. Communication is excellent with multiple update emails. Booked again for the summer.

I have booked with Beach Retreats many times and they are so helpful and efficient. The properties are always to an excellent standard. Checking in is very easy and any deposits are always returned soon after. We intend to use again in the future.

What a fantastic company!! Booking was simple then we had regular e mails during the last month or so b4 our arrival with useful information regarding the are, best places to visit/ eat etc. and then the apartment we had in Porth was superb- best we’ve ever had! Falmouth - Liner - Port

Falmouth itself and surrounding areas we loved, our favourite being Kynance Cove. Although the location was great we would not stay in the Port again, we visited in October for a week (not half term) and on a Friday & Saturday night it was full of kids, mopeds & skateboard noise and the smell of drugs just outside the accommodation. We had issues with regards our cautionary deposit not being returned. There was a tea stain on the white table and they held back £170 from the £200 please be aware. The coffee tables had marks on them when we arrived but had not been replaced, our understanding is money was held from other holiday makers due to this. The barrier to the car park was also broken when we arrived and still was when we left a week later. We will return to the beautiful Cornwall/ Falmouth but not to the Port.

Just home from a week in Porthtowan we had an amazing time in the property. Every home comfort we needed for our break. Did not want to go home and will definitely be back.
Booked our grocery shop ahead and very glad we did as it meant there was delicious local produce in our fridge and the relaxation of knowing we didn’t need to do anything other than soak up the views.

Very hard to find the property as the sign is small and blends in with its surroundings. Steep sloped driveway and deep steps lead to the front. Beautiful views from the rear garden and you could sit there all day. If you just wanted to stay in and admire the view, you won't be disappointed.
House was very well furnished and apart from one area, was very clean. Plenty of furniture and kitchenware - you had everything you wanted. There's also table tennis and pool in the garage which was an added bonus.
The water pump is very loud but you get used to it quickly. Electricity did go off when you put certain lights on together, but we managed to start it again.
Perfect base for exploring the village and North Cornwall.
Dogs are limited to the kitchen and utility areas so you must be prepared for this.
Wonderful beach - wellies and walking boots are a must!

We have just finished our fourth stay at a Beach Retreats holiday home and have already booked again for next year. They are a company that are easy to deal with by both 'phone and email. Their web site is easy to use and accurate with regards to the details of the properties and the areas they sit in. Most importantly their properties are extremely well maintained & the information provided to us, the client, is clear, accurate and useful. The arriving and departure arrangements are also straightforward. I would have no hesitation at all in recommending them.

We have just had a fantastic week at Trevose in Widemoth Bay! Its the 2nd time we've stayed in this property and it won't be the last :-). Trevose is a superb beach house with everything you could need for a wonderful holiday. The views of the beach, sea and sunsets are incredible, Trevose is literally right above the sand dunes and so you're on the beach in less than a minute. Widemouth Bay is a great place to go for a beach holiday and it was wall to wall sunshine while we were there, which made the stay even better. Trevose is very comfortable and the decking off the living room is amazing, we can't wait to stay there again! Beach Retreats have been brilliant from the beginning when we were booking the property right up until after we left, helping to arrange an anniversary card that had gone missing. Its the little things that count as much as the big things, thank you Beach Retreats!

Friendly staff, stunning property, we had a fantastic holiday.

Day 1 of renting the lookout in Porth, Cornwal for £7.5k for 2 weeks. Had a couple of issues, range beach retreats to resolve and they couldn't have been less helpful and really got up my nose. My advice.....avoid this company and its properties unless you want to spend a lot of money and get bad service and terrible attitude. Hope the owner sees this and gives rental to a decent company or will lose more business.

Property falsely advertised. The property in question is Sea horses in Port Issac. The particulars of the property show a nice clean garden attached. Well it is not attached! it is some distant down an alley way and very steep steps. You only find this out afterwards.

Staff completely unhelpful and fail to understand the meaning of their false advertising. The car park is a 20 minute walk away up a steep hill, or in their words a short walk.....

We left the property after one night and called them, they were completely disinterested and offered no refund or credit. Disgusting customer service

We stayed a week in an apartment in Porh, returned last Saturday. I have emailed Beach Retreats to inform them of our disappointment with the property and still awaiting a rely.
Whilst we were blown away with the view of Porth Beach from the balcony and a wonderful place to sit in the evening watching the sun go down, we were not happy with finding that (as specified) a deep clean had obviously not taken place.
I found hairs on the tiles in the ensuite shower cubical.
The bathroom door to the ensuite was dirty and had not been cleaned please see picture.
Both bathrooms smelled strongly of damp, particularly the ensuite.
To try to address this we attempted to turn on the heated towel rails, although the instructions for how to achieve this were rather inadequate and took quite a while to figure out. This helped somewhat with the main bathroom, but the ensuite continued to smell strongly of damp for our entire stay.
There is a long rug in the hallway which my husband tripped on due to it not being properly secured to the floor, thank goodness he did not injure himself.
Furthermore when making the bed I discovered to my disgust that the mattress cover was dirty and stained, I went to remove it and found that the mattress also stained. There is a ridge down the middle of the bed and the mattress obviously needs replacing.
I would have contacted Beach Retreats office but there was no telephone signal at all in Porth. A fact that was not mentioned anywhere in the property description on the website nor in any of the information I received.
I’m feeling rather disappointed since this was our first holiday in some time and was a treat to ourselves after retiring in January.
I'm not looking for compensation but an apology would be nice and reassured the issues above are addressed for others who will be staying in this property. We wont be returning that's for shore.

Their property management services are really poor. The worst property managers we have ever had, and we have let out several properties for the last 10 years. They managed to lose all of our external door keys, including an alarm fob, until we terminated their contract and then the keys and alarm fob were all found. The often forgot to set the alarm in any event as well so our property was left unsecured for lengthy periods. Meaning that we were uninsured had there been a theft fire or water damage. The quality of the cleaning was very poor, leading to complaints from guests.
They knowingly allowed access to the house for more people than our maximum capacity. They were very defensive when we questioned the quality of their services. When they had a difficult guest who made various complaints they gave our personal contact details to the guest which have reported to the Information Commissioners office under the Data Protection Act.
They often over charged us for rental commissions and they charged us for work carried out that wasn’t related to our house. Fortunately we picked these up when checking their monthly statements.
In our opinion, they are not capable of properly looking after a high end property.

Shocking customer service, after both of us being made redundant we had no choice to cancel - no help offered to help get out deposit back or offer the week to us at a reduced cost even though it was selling at a reduced cost just blamed the owners

Booked with Beach retreats for a holiday in accommodation that wasn't even built which certainly made us nervous but we loved the plans of the house and the location so we went ahead. At every step of the way, Beach retreats, and in particular, Lucy, kept us updated on the progress of the build through regular emails and photos. She also reassured us regarding their Covid19 policies. During our wonderful stay, she responded quickly to emails (just some queries about the accommodation) and on my return home, she went out of her way to reunite me with items I had foolishly left behind. I cannot fault the service of Beach Retreats and have no hesitancy in recommending them or using them again next year.
