Extremely helpful, respectful and to the point have made my life less stressful with ease of appointments, surgery and after care.
I needed to speak to head office in Alicante, when my local office was closed for the evening to gain authorisation for my extra nights stay in the Virgen del Mar hospital Almeria, at the end of April 2022. Within 5 minutes this was dealt with, promptly and courteously by the staff member, putting my already stressful situation at ease. I would thoroughly recommend this company. Thank you Asssa es.
Great service
We have had nothing but good experiences during our time as customers of ASSSA. I would particularly like to mention Esther Fernandez Sanz who works at the Quesada branch office. She is friendly, efficient and helpful in all her dealings with us. ASSSA provide a great service and we have no complaints whatsoever.
Are ASSSA not paying their hospitals? Why can't they get my husband a hospital bed?
So an update on my husband's broken leg - still no resolution 4 DAYS LATER. Another clinic visit, more x rays to confirm what we already know, confirmation from ASSSA that yes they will pay...but that's as far as we get. The Torrox office say they are 'emailing the hospitals to find out next move'!! This is 4 days on...
This is worse than a third world country and we are paying for it. ASSSA WHERE ARE YOU?? Meanwhile my husband is in pain and extremely distraught.

My husband and are couldn't be happier with the exceptional services provided by Esther and the team at the ASSSA Quesada branch.
Esther in particular, who we deal with for all our health needs is extremely friendly, helpful and supportive in all aspects of the services ASSSA provides. If we don't know what to do, Esther explains things clearly and facilitates the necessary actions needed and nothing is ever too much trouble for her.
Totally efficient in communicating, Esther always responds to our emails and phone calls very quickly and we couldn't be happier. We have been clients with ASSSA since 2017and we would highly recommend ASSSA as an excellent health insurance provider.
We'd give 6 stars if we could choose. Esther is such a pleasure to work with for our all our health needs, always 'on the ball' and trying hard to get things done, always with the client's best interests at heart.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit der Beraterin Judith Gil der Agentur in Estepona. Sie spricht auch Deutsch, was sehr hilfreich für meine vielen Fragen war. Die Beratung war kompetent, und auf alle Fragen bekam ich für mich passende Antworten, sodass ich mich zwischen verschiedenen Krankenkassen richtig entscheiden konnte. Das Geschenk, dass ich 2 Monate lang keinen Betrag einzahlen muss, freut mich ganz besonders. Krankheitsfälle habe ich bisher keine, sodass ich zur späteren Abwicklung noch keine Aussagen machen kann. Ich freue mich sehr darüber, meine spezielle und sehr freundliche Kundenberaterin zu haben, an welche ich mich immer wenden kann.

I have been with Asssa for 5 years. I can recommend them, Esther in the Ciudad Quesada office is excellent, she will arrange everything and keep you informed all the way.
My only grudge is you hve to get authorisations for almost every test, which is annoying to say the least, but it doesn't take long to come through and then appointments etc are very quick and thorough. You also have lots of different hospitals and clinics to choose from

I would like to say a massive thank you to the Assa team in the la zenia office.
I have had medical insurance with them for nearly 2 years and would fully recommend them. They respond straight away via email or telephone, I personally perfer going into the office because they're so friendly and understanding. When I became pregnant, I had major concerns on navigating the Spanish medical system due to my little spanish. However, Valentina took care of everything, getting me the best doctors, translators and overall care possible.
I just gave birth to my beautiful baby boy and can honestly say the whole experience from early pregnancy to birth was stress free thanks to Valentina and her team.
I will always be grateful to Valentina for looking after me when I needed it, she went above and beyond what was needed.

We have had excellent service from ASSSA health insurance in the past year. The staff in the Fuengirola office (formerly based in Benalmadena) have been efficient, courteous, professional and always helpful, and the insurance itself compares well with other products on the market. There was no pressure to go with ASSSA. We received all the necessary factual information we requested to reach decisions and were pleased with the speed of service from staff. We are pleased to recommend this company, based on our personal experience.

I have been with Asssa for 18 years and have found them to be absolutely excellent. The staff are professional, polite and extremely helpful. Because of their commitment to your well being I was sent for a routine health check where it was discovered I had breast cancer. Due to their quick and efficient attention I was treated immediately and the cancer removed. I was seen regularly for 9 years following the operation to make sure everything was good and I am pleased to say I am still cancer free. If it wasn’t for the Professionalism of this company I probably wouldn’t be writing this comment today.

I have had an awful and very sad experience with this company. I am a health policy holder with ASSSA, along with my wife. She had an awful accident in the streets of Puerto de Mazarron, last December. I rang the ASSSA emergency ambulance numbers on two occasions while she lay injured on the street, but nobody answered. I did this over a period of ten minutes or so. Eventually, a Spanish passer-by rang for a public ambulance, which speedily arrived, and took my wife to a public hospital in Cartagena, where she spent the next six days. As yet ASSSA haven't contributed a cent to the resultant 14,000 Euros medical bill my wife's stay in hospital cost (because the hospital wasn't part of ASSSA's insurance scheme). Since my wife's return to our home, I've taken her by wheelchair to and from physiotherapy sessions in Puerto de Mazarron on 82 occasions, through sun, rain, wind and floods. She's making really good progress, but I do wonder how different things might have been had the ASSSA emergency service actually answered our phone calls. On the basis of my experience, DO BE CAREFUL before you sign up to any ASSSA scheme. As a concerned husband, that's really all I have to say on the matter.

What can i say! I am struggling to give ASSSA even 1 star. I am a client and after a nasty accident in December of last year, ASSSA simply have not been there for me. Their customer service is inadequately poor and especially their responses which are painfully very slow or they don't respond at all. I would not reccomend them to anybody, not even for residencia. I would 'not touch them with 20 foot barge pole.' They 'claim' that they have great customer service but in reality judging by the other reviews this is clearly a case of blatant exaggeration. AVOID! AVOID!

Estafa pura. Fake insurance stays away. My lawyer recommends this insurance says that is cheap and reliable. However, when I really got sick, they refused to pay even how serious my health condition is, and a clear letter from the doctor about the problem and the need for treatment. Just appalling. I can't wait to part company from this 2-bit, amateur operation and I look forward to being insured via *any* other company.
You could literally die waiting for anyone to answer an email. Laziest, most disorganized company I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with, and my judgement is based on a number of interactions.

empresa horrible, horrible empresa, asssa solo están interesados en ganar dinero. Tenga en cuenta que una vez que firme el contrato, debe pagarles durante 12 meses completos, hasta que finalice su contrato. No hay manera de salir de eso. Para cancelar su contrato debe avisar con 1 mes completo de antelación, antes del 1 de enero. Y si no lo cancela, automáticamente lo estafan renovando su contrato con ellos, pero no le notifican que lo están haciendo en absoluto. Luego, una vez más, debe pagarlos durante otros 12 meses completos, incluso si intenta cancelar su contrato el 1 de enero. ¡Solo una gran estafa de sus clientes! Y también verifique dónde vive tiene una oficina local de asssa, porque si no las tiene, áreas como Fuerteventura tienen instalaciones realmente deficientes disponibles, el servicio no es ni cerca de lo que esperaría o recibiría en el continente. Allí el servicio al cliente también es muy pobre, te ignoran y solo están interesados en ganar dinero, ¡no en la salud de sus clientes!
horrible company, asssa are only interested in making money. Keep in mind that once you sign the contract, you must pay them for a full 12 months, until your contract ends. There is no way out of that. To cancel your contract you must give 1 full month's notice, before January 1. And if you don't cancel, they automatically scam you by renewing your contract with them, but they don't notify you that they're doing it at all. Then, once again, you have to pay them for another full 12 months, even if you try to cancel your contract on January 1. Just a big scam from their customers! And also check where you live has a local asssa office, because if you don't then areas like Fuerteventura have really poor facilities available, the service is nowhere near what you would expect or receive on the mainland. There the customer service is also very poor, they ignore you and are only interested in making money, not in the health of their customers!
Do not use this company!!
