Durante este largo período, ningún llamamiento nuestro pasó desapercibido. La cara de cualquier empresa son sus empleados que se comunican directamente con los clientes. Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service, 1 month amd never got approvals, finally cancelled the service after 2 mos, I pai 1200 euro, 6 mos later the have yet to pay me back. Avoid.

ASSSA Fuengirola:- Excellent customer service from start to finish when applying for my health insurance policy! Everything was done quickly which was a big help when applying for my visa as this is time critical! For me personally, this was the best health insurance policy at very reasonable rates! I would recommend them 100%

Commitment, Ability & Professionalism

I very recently had cause to be quite concerned regarding various health issues.

I had been on the receiving end of a very dissatisfying appointment and, having been an ASSSA patient for many years, spoke with my local office who arranged for a pretty swift appointment with a clinical specialist to whom I will be eternally grateful.

If it were not for me being referred to the specialist in question I feel convinced I would be nowhere near as far 'down the road' as I am now to finding out what was wrong with me and getting solutions.  There are no two ways about it that had it not been for ASSSA’s Quesada office, and indeed the specialist, reacting with such high levels of professionalism and knowledge I would not be where I am now - and for that, to you both, I say a big heartfelt thank you.

The following I have copied from one of my emails and make no apologies for naming the individuals who have contributed to my peace of mind after a very turbulent and worrying period:

“Esther, thank you so very much indeed for what you do for us and as I have said previously in this email we both appreciate your commitment, outstanding abilities and professionalism very much indeed”.

Finally, it would be very remiss of me not to say thank you to Dr Zepeda of SanySa in Almoradi and to ASSSA who for many years have been there for me and my wife in our time of medical need.

Initially they were great however when…

Initially they were great however when I discovered I had a cancerous Carcinoma..this is what happened., Firstly I had to travel an hour and a half to see specialist after seeing doctor near me.
Medical Insurance disputes paying for me to have a procedure to remove a carcinoma I noticed AFTER the policy started. The Policy is specifically no waiting time no co pay policy.

They say “ the carcinoma started growing before the policy started”.

I say, it may well have. It was noticed AFTER the policy started as it was only discovered by myself after the policy started. The dermatologist discovered 2 other carcinomas I didn’t know about.

I am going to fight them.

Does that mean that if something extremely untoward was discovered in my body such as heart disease that I knew nothing about, cant see or discover without a specialist they will also reject that claim on the basis that this started manifesting itself a long time ago??? Utter rubbish

Super efficient and most helpful

From the initial enquiry, through underwriting to the speedy issue of the certificate, nothing was too much trouble, answered all the questions and provided info immediately, I can honestly say I have not seen this level of customer service before, in the UK or in Spain. Judith Gil is an exceptional asset to this company

Pay for nothing

Had to pay an entire year for an insurance I wasn't using because I wouldn't be in the country. The best they could do was 20% off. Scammers

Dont be fooled by the vague misleading wording

ASSSA advertises that they cover radiology in their Standard Policy. I need this treatment for prostate cancer. The excellent and world known radiologist I was sent to see explained the various treatments and the timelines . The first and OUTDATED method is a treatment of 40 sessions , this is the only treatment ASSSA covers and the 5 treatment cure , which 99 % of men choose is NOT covered. The clinic does give a % break on the cost of the treatment as they know everyone with ASSSA will be paying out of pocket. At the clinic / hospital they said ASSSA is the only company to not cover the newest methods that this doctor uses. The treatment is just under 10,000 euros and not a penny is covered by my insurance ! This is not right or fair to their clients .

Hände weg!

Ich kann nur jedem von einem Vertrag mit diesem Unternehmen abraten. Keine Ahnung, auf welche Weise sie ihre Mitarbeiter rekrutieren, deren Inkompetenz spricht allerdings Bände. Ich habe im August 2022 in Denia einen Vertrag für eine private Krankenversicherung abgeschlossen. Leider. Der Vertrag sollte im September beginnen. Wie sich dann herausstellte, hatte er schon im August begonnen. Zumindest mit den Aufrechnung der Abbuchungen von meinem Konto. Als Vorerkrankung hatte ich einen schnellenden Finger der linken Hand angegeben. Der wurde vom Vertrag ausgeschlossen. Als ich Monate später wegen der Vertragsunterlagen nachfragte, meinte die diensthabende Dame, eine Deutsche, sie würde mir die Unterlagen persönlich vorbeibringen. Ich wohne auf dem Land und schickte ihr die GPS Koordinaten. An besagtem Tage wartete ich. Sie kam nicht. Sie rief an: "... wo wohnen Sie denn? Ich kann das nicht finden..." Ich frage, wo sie denn sei. Sie; "´Weiß ich nicht...komme gleich". Ich warte. Sie ruft an: "Ja wo ist das denn?.." Ich: "Sie haben doch meine GPS Daten!" Sie: "(in ärgerlichem Ton) ich habe aber mein Handy nicht dabei.." Ich (ratlos): Aber Sie rufen doch an?" Sie: (vorwurfsvoll) "das ist das andere Handy..."
Schließlich kommt sie mit anderthalbstündiger Verspätung völlig abgekämpft bei mir an. Ich hatte ihr meinen Standort noch einmal übermittelt. Sie, vorfwurfsvoll: "Wo wohnen SIE denn?"ICH BITTE AN DIESER STELLE VIELMALS UM ENTSCHULDIGUNG. Ich wohne auf dem Land, 5 bis 7 Minuten von Mercadona und Aldi entfernt. Weil sie nun so viel Zeit zum Auffinden meines Wohnorts verschwendet hat, bleibt weder Form noch Höflichkeit. Sie knickt die Seiten des ASSSA Handbuches um, die für mich relevant sind und rauscht ab. Ende Dezember 2022 will ich bei der ASSSA die Zustimmung für einen operativen Eingriff am Gelenk der rechten Hand einholen. Leider habe ich wieder mit besagter Dame aus Denia zu tun. Ihr bevorzugtes Konversationsmittel sind Sprachnachrichten über whatsapp. Ich schreibe, sie spricht. Nachdem das ungefähr zehn Mal nervtötend hin und hergegangen ist, bitte ich um einen Anruf. Sie spricht: "Ich habe aber gerade ein Telefonat!" Wie bitte? Sie schickt Sprachnachrichten und telefoniert gleichzeitig? DAS MUSS MAN NICHT VERSTEHEN. Nach ein paar Minuten rufe ich an. Sie: "Hallo?...Hallo?.. Sind Sie da?. Ich: "Ja."Ich warte, daß sie was sagt. Sie sagt: Nichts. Dafür, nach einiger Zeit:"Hallo? Das ist aber eine schlechte Verbindung". Ich: "Sie müssen sprechen, wenn Sie telefonieren..". Sie meint in ziemlich pikiertem Tonfall, ich hätte doch diese Sache mit der Hand bei Vertragsabschluss angegeben. Ich erkläre ihr geduldig, dass es sich um einen schnellenden Finger der linken Hand gehandelt hätte. Der wäre inzwischen operiert. Nicht auf Kosten der ASSSA. Jetzt hätte ich Probleme mit dem rechten Handgelenk. Sie sagt, das müsse die Zentrale entscheiden. Ich höre wieder lange Zeit nichts von der ASSSA. Dann frage ich erneut an. Die Dame aus Denia meint, "die Zentrale" bräuchte den OP Bericht der Operation am schnellenden Daumen. Wie bitte? Die ASSSA braucht den OP Bericht über eine Operation mit der sie gar nichts zu tun hatte? Ich könnte den übermitteln. Will ich aber nicht. Die Dame aus Denia per Sprachnachricht: "Ich kann das verstehen. Ich kann das wirklich verstehen." Am 6. Februar 2023 frage ich dann nochmals an. Es kommt wieder eine Sprachnachricht. Ich antworte, dass ich eine schriftliche Nachricht haben will und das bitte per EMail. Die Dame aus Denia hat mir heute, am 07. Februar geantwortet, dass die ASSSA die Kosten für den Eingriff nicht übernehmen wird. Immerhin eine Antwort. Auch wenn sie stark nach Rache riecht.

ASSSA NEEDS TO BUILD MORE EXERIENCE ON HOW TO DEAL WITH THE POTENTIALCLIENTS

I have been with numerous insurance companies throughout the world. But nothing like ASSSA. Their policy works strictly for them, not the client. I needed to be insured for 1 year and after the expiration of my contract, they extended it without notifying me. Claiming they did, rather than solving it with me, they forwarded me to the higher authority with the threatening  email.
The customer service is not for the customers, as the whole company isn't.If you're coming to Spain, do some deep research. And avoid this unprofessionally running "business".

ASSSA polished publicity but lacks in cover

ASSSA Very polished marketing but policy falls short with too many exclusions and they send you 50 kms to see a specialist of their choice.
My neighbours husband and wife both needed hip replacements - Husband with DKV Seguros and wife with ASSSA. Husband was given the surgery and prosthesis and DKV paid all the cost in full and had a choice of 8 doctors around the town. Under ASSSA wife had virtually same but the wife had to pay for the prosthesis nearly 5.000,00€ and was sent 50km to see specialist.

I was at the time looking at an ASSSA policy and when I asked the ASSSA agent was Prosthesis covered in full he assured me it was. He phoned me a week later and I told him that he needed to learn about his own policy. I went with DKV but used an English Agency because I know that it is not easy to get ENGLISH speakers at Spanish call centers. The agency were really thorough and after I took the DKV policy helped me with all the processes for checks and treatment and they have been brilliant. So avoid ASSSA and go with a more comprehensive insurer but use an agency like Tailor Made Healthcare Spain.

ASSSA should be call-the joker

this company is a joke, don't insurance with them. I gave my 1 month notice on 3 oct, 1st of 2nd was the weekend. they say I'm too late and need to pay for 2 months Nov and Dec. why 2 months? I don't know as the renewal was November. therefore, November should be the only month i have to pay for. also it took them until the 8 Nov to tell me, when i said i didn't agree and put it in email i didn't get the email until today. 30 Nov. Customer service shocking, value for money - zero. NEVER AGAIN

We Needed our medical insurance in place for our Spanish Visa Judith Gil from Asssa sorted everything out for us in 24hrs absolutely amazing company nothing was to much for them whole process sorted out for us with 20 mins to Spare for our Appointment at consulate can’t Thank them enough

Very bad customer service

Very bad customer service. You need an authorization for everything. I needed Physio and they only have one they work with in my town which was "fully booked" meaning they didn't want to take insured customers. So they wanted to send me to the nearby city which is like 35min drive. I cancelled.
