Cheap 100% polyester products not like photos … not based in Aus Sydney like they say … the product comes from China…. Refund offered was 20% but because I paid on a gift card, they basically said too bad can’t put it back on gift card. I did not op to return because of the issues I read others have had with returned products . I will report this company to ACCC … steer clear read all the reviews on Product review … do not believe the reviews on their IG account. DO NOT Buy from this company.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! Very poor quality and falsely advertised shoes were orthopaedic. What a joke, they sent the wrong size and pretty much said it was my fault. I sent photos and proof of my order but they just kept dancing around the subject and offered 30% refund of the cost. To return them I was expected to pay the $50 to $60 dollar cost and the shoes cost that much! The colour was not like picture and the quality was terrible. Not an Australian company despite having Sydney in their name. Going through PayPal to get my money back

I ordered a bag and jacket. The bag was not at all as described. Plastic looking with a plastic interior which was advertised as being a suede micro interior. The jacket was cheaply made with pieces of cotton hanging out and cheap cut off seams.

When I asked to return i was offered 20% then 30% discount and told to gift items to someone in need OR return the item to china at my own expense. Not Australia

When questioned why their response:

‘While we are indeed an Australian-based company, we operate on a global scale.
Since your item came from our main warehouse in China, you will need to return the item to where it originated in order for us to process a refund’.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. There are dozens of negative similar reviews online.. Has anyone else tried to follow up from a legal perspective?

So the response I got regarding my above review was to contact their customer service team. If they read the review they would see I have and their response to me from the customer support team. The customer support team have not provided any resolution except discount and give to someone in need OR return to China at my own expense, not Sydney ?

I know there are 2 stores with similar names. I am commenting on the Ardor Sydney site not Ador in Sydney however I am sure Ardor Sydney are happy people think they are a Sydney site. This review is for Ardor Sydney which is the site I purchased my clothes. This just keeps going around and around. Again don’t purchase from a clothing site called Ardor Sydney as they have their warehouse in China. Products are very poorly made.

16/8. They agreed to give me a 35% partial refund. I am sure they will still make a profit on that. I will do as they suggested and give articles to lifeline. Be aware the Ardor Sydney clothing site is not Ador in Sydney.

Scam indeed! The website does not mention that all the items are shipped from China and the item description does not have details about what the items are made from. When asked, the customer service said polyester and cotton blend, but they were 100% polyester once received. When wanting to return, I was offered 20% refund the first time and then 30% refund. When I still wanted to return, they sent me and address of a warehouse in China and conditions that the item must be successfully delivered before a refund would be processed. Surely, the Sydney part of Ardor Sydney is just a net to catch people from Australia in thinking that they are ordering from a local business and that dealing with exchanges or returns would be simple. LIES!

Total scam. Send incorrect, poor quality articles then tell you you have to return them to China at your own cost but will offer you a refund of 20% which they will slowly pretend to up so they can make the scam works.

Every positive review is just part of the scam

EDIT: reported them to MasterCard who refunded me all my money. Everyone do the same so they lose their accreditation.

Ardor Sydney is a scamThis was the worst experience I've ever had shopping online. They took my money straight away but never sent me a confirmation of the order and there was not way of retrieving it on the site so basically there was no order. When I finally figured out how to contact them they gave me the runaround for a while and then I cancelled the order and as soon as I did they said it was on the way. Still no order information or tracking. Then I said I would be returning it anyway because of the terrible customer service they gave me the runaround about returning it. The product arrived eventually and it was absolute garbage. They say they are "walking" shoes but you couldn't walk very far at all in these before they fell apart. I'm still trying to get some information so I can return them but still getting the runaround. Steer clear!!

Shoes are sent from China despite the company being called Ardor Sydney. Arrived later than promised. Size 42 was ordered. Shoes are NOT size 42 despite having 42 stamped on the bottom. Very badly made. Customer service repeatedly tried to talk me out of a refund & told me that I would have to pay for return shipping. Do not purchase from this business. They are not to be trusted.

DO NOT ORDER from Australia. This is an US based company, despite misleading advertising. Ordered orthopaedic boots which are very cheap quality, obvious glue markings and different colour to online. I am attempting to return for a refund and being warned by the company that the fee to courier back will be big so they are kindly offering 20% and now 30% refund. When ordering I was led to believe there was a Sydney based outlet of this store. What a complete waste of time.

I ordered a “Camille—Elegant & eye-catching cardigan” from Ardor that was very different from the image advertised on their online store.

The clothing I received looks like a cheap nylon blend printed summer jacket. I would not describe it as a cardigan. It is not elegant and poorly finished.

The garment image is misleading, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

The item arrived creased, without tags or labels, just rolled into a crumpled plastic Ziploc bag.
 
I requested a return and refund for the misrepresented product as soon as it arrived.

I was offered a 20% refund, which is against Australian consumer law. But the cost of return shipping (quote) “typically ranges from $30 to $40 or more” for international returns - so I accepted the refund.

I will never wear this jacket, and I never want anyone to experience the same disappointment - hence my review.

Ordered three (3) pairs of shoes and O M G - RUBBISH ABSOLUTE RUBBISH - not even worth giving to charity! Yes, I wrote immediately after I received my shoes wrapped in bubble wrap and stuffed into a ziplock bag and all stuffed into a post bag which was too small. Quality is appalling. Plastic no leather. Stitching falling apart - aren't even usable!

Got the standard email 'We are so sorry and want to make you happy email' offering to give me 25% of my money back (yes for their faulty shoes which were NOT what was described) and their generous offer that I can keep these horrible things! and yes, I got the 'it will cost you $50 to send back to China' with the caveat 'if it gets there we'll refund you 100%' .... they sent me a 'return form' which was just a plain piece of paper with no logo, no company information and not much more and an address in China. Yes, I googled the address which according to google doesn't exist - some of it did and it was a massive industrial estate. Which basically means the address they've given me is a false one and/or my 'return' wouldn't end up ever getting to the right place - and I'd be out of pocket even more and they would keep all my money! .... so ended up accepting 50% refund which was in my account this morning ... @trustpilot I notice on the other armoure review site which is for the same company there are a number of '5 star' reviews - its strange they are all from Ireland! So I'm guessing this company is using some of the money they ripped off from me to pay someone to create multiple accounts and place false reviews to get their star rating up!

Scam Business - you will lose your money!This is a scam business from beginning to end. They will take your money and deliver you a completely inadequate, unmatching piece of fabric and doesn’t resemble the advertised product at all.
They are also making new websites all the time. The item I purchased was on site called armoire-melbourne.com. When I went to look for the product 1 week later, it was no longer on that site and now showing on this new fake site.

Please don’t lose your money like I did! Beware of these scams!

A total scam. The claim is that their orthopedic shoe is quality materials with orthopaedic insole. They stank of the manufactured plastic smell, no insoles and like a cheap plastic copy of a genuine shoe. Don’t buy from this company
