We have been waiting two weeks for a parcel still not delivered!

Pathetic! After 15 days my parcel hasn’t reached its destination. My CV application for a job didn’t make the deadline that’s how unreliable this company is 😭🥲🥲

By choice, I wouldn’t even give ARAMEX GEORGE a One Star Rating. My parcel arrived at George Depot, 03/12. On 08/12 the tracking update has not changed - still processing at George. A call to the office on Tuesday (07th) says the parcel will be delivered Wednesday. A call to them on Wednesday says parcel was delivered on the Monday (06th). Parcel has NOT been delivered to recipient. The story is the driver can’t remember exactly where he dropped it. Surely there needs to be accountability. If the parcel is out for delivery, it is recorded as such. Once delivered, time and place is noted as well as signature of recipient. They have promised to follow up but at this stage it seems the parcel has ‘disappeared’. I have requested feedback as to where parcel was dropped off and who received it but ARAMEX George are unable to furnish me with those details. I would urge people not to entrust their parcels to Aramex George.

This is my third unfortunate experience with Aramex. I do not choose to use them because I know they do not deliver as they claim to. I made an online purchase at the Zara online store and they told me to meet their driver at a central locsrion instead of delivering my package to my address. Now they are telling me my package is at their hub for me to collect. Why do they accept delivery of packages to areas they know they will not deliver to?

Must be the worst courier company in the world with NO customer service! Total disrespect for the on-time delivery of your package, you cannot contact anyone with questions you have, no place to complain to management or escalate your problem.
DO NOT USE!!!!!

The most flawed company in SA. They make Eskom look efficient.
Their customer care is zero.

This is one messed up company, the worst in the whole entire world I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. This company takes people for granted and they forget that we using our own money for these parcel do not trust this company it’s the absolute worst. They didn’t even deserve the one star

I am busy wit Aramex as from 11/11/2022 following up on my parcel that was stuck in transit as from 03/11/2022 after duty fees were paid. Aramex could not allocate my 11kg parcel worth (R6000 + R1400 = R7400) I received an email from SHEIN that said that my parcel could not be delivered due to insufficent address/phone number/not at home when trying to deliver ect. But I used a Postnet address and this is not true. And that I should phone my carrier to arrange so that the parcel can be delivered soon. So SHEIN was given false information, there is no parcel to be delivered as Aramex lost the parcel. Please inform SHEIN that the parcel is lost. Who will arrange the replacement and by when will I receive it? Who will cover the import duties as I cant pay twice for it. How can you loose a 11kg parcel?

Bad, bad service. They can learn from Buffalo International Services. From 18/08/2022 no movement on my parcel till today 23/08/2022. I believe nothing will change.

Company not to be trusted with parcels. Tried to trace my parcel but no feedback as to where my parcel is. Phoned, watsapped, nothing. Al they say is they will escalate delivery or bring it under attention of management. They refuse to accept any responsibility for package. So when they lose it, well tough luck. You lose your money.

Very poor and slow. I have called and called them. They keep saying they will send my custom bill and no one have sent it. Also called today they keep saying the same thing. How long will it take them to send it? Totally poor system.

Dishonesty is clearly their policy!
At 15:20 I received an email stating “sorry we missed you” that an attempt was made at delivering my parcel…. NO phone calls were made to my cellphone, NO phone calls were made at the gate of my complex notifying me that there was a delivery for me, indicating that they DID NOT even go to my complex.

On the site when my purchased had been placed and processed, it stated that estimated delivery would be the 12th July. 29th June, I receive an email that my parcel was on its way and 30th an sms received that it was out for delivery, so arrangements were made that there would be someone to take delivery of the parcel.

It is an inconvenience and flat out frustrating when this sort of service is “provided”.

Worst service ever, been waiting for a parcel for two weeks now and they tell me they tried to call me when they have not called at all. Given an alternative number and an address but that did not help.

Aramex used to be a good company until they started losing people's parcels in their warehouses without accountability, more and more stories are coming forward about how bad things have gone and this is unfortunate as no one wants me to send their parcels through Aramex and I've even deleted the App.

I must say I was very nervous when I see the reviews about Aramex but I must say they did a very good job I bought some computers via Amazon and then I ship it to South Africa from US and arrived faster than I thought and then it arrives perfectly fine I called the call customer service in Sandton I spoke to a lady by the name of Francina and then she was a very nice and told me that my package will arrive safe and definitely did arrive safely I was so worried when I see the bad reviews about you guys but for me is went perfectly I hope to use you guys again next time and then things goes well as it is this time well it was my first time using it I appreciate your service guys thank you very much

Don't expect any communication if your parcel is delayed. Don't expect them to answer the phone when you call. Don't expect them to respond to your support requests when you constantly try and follow up.

My parcel arrived on the 22nd of November. I was told it needs to go for custom clearance and it will take 4-5 days. This was after I followed up a week later because there is no communication. It's now the 7th of December and I have no idea when my parcel will arrive.

After my horrible experience with Aramex, I have found that I am not the only one who has issues with them. It also seems like Amarex has the worst reviews in every country it operates in. I will do my best to try and avoid them in the future... This is not the first time I have had issues with them, it seems like this is simply how they operate.

After my latest follow-up, I get an email saying it's on the way. Unsurprisingly, even after I have lodged a complaint, I still get no response. Clearly, they do not care about their customers.

Unreliable, negligent and dishonest...

I ordered 2 packages from 2 different online stores using Aramex South Africa. I added a note with both orders for the driver to call me prior to delivery. I was given 2 separate waybill numbers. My neighbor arrived at my door with one of my packages, saying the driver had left it with him, even though I was home. I went to track my other parcel, as I was confused as to why they had not been delivered together. The second parcel had been marked as complete as well. My neighbor confirmed he never received it. It was a large parcel over 30 kg. I have been calling Aramex multiple times a day trying to find out why this was done. They kept telling me that it was delivered. I have contacted my lawyer to handle this further. The driver using 1 delivery to mark both orders as delivered is fraud and theft. I am giving Aramex 24 hours before I call the police to report the theft of the second item. My lawyer has already contacted them. This is pathetic service in several ways:

1. I put the note for the driver to call me. He didn't.
2. He delivered the first parcel with my neighbour, when I was home!
3. Aramex were insisting that the second parcel was delivered. I have since been told it has not.
4. All assurances that my parcel will be delivered within a certain time are nonsense
5. Aramex cannot seem to get hold of their drivers
6. The drivers dishonesty, negligence, and unprofessional service misrepresents the company, and should be dealt with.
7. Customer service from Aramex has been shocking

Delivery attempt 1: Mixed up the packages, my one ending up going to someone overseas, and I receiving theirs.
Delivery Attempt 2: They attempted to send me the package from the person they accidently send to. I deliver mine back but their unwillingness to pay customs duties (which I had already paid on their mistaken deliver) means I am still dealing with importation charges 3 months later and 5 months after the initial delivery date
Delivery attempt 3: A fresh package is sent. It gets here 4 months after the date I'd ordered it and 3 months after the initial one arrived.

To achieve these results I've had to email them over 100 times (they insisted on my number as the only means of contact and never used it for the first three weeks) and I had to CONSTANTLY remind them of everything. I've tried to be patient but it looks like I'm about to have to pay customs duty twice on a single pair of boots as they can't take ownership of their own faults.

Ordered from Shein a month ago, still waiting! Their tracking just keeps saying "in flight", it's been "in flight" for two weeks now! How much fuel does that plane carry? They also don't respond to queries or complaints, like they just don't care. Worst.courier.ever.

I ordered some stuff from Hong Kong and they arrived in the South Africa 1 March 2021. Customs clearance completed only on 6 April. Now two weeks later 15 April I still do not have my parcel, still stuck on “clearance complete” but my parcel is not being delivered. Calls everyday, same reply everyday “we’ll ecscalate”, and then nothing. The gentleman handling my parcel, Gunter Coetzee, stopped replying to my emails about the whereabouts of my parcel. Awful courier service, the worst ever!!! If you want a peace of mind while waiting for your shipment, Aramex is definitely not the way to go. Never again.
