I just purchased my third drum I have an 4, 10, 12 inch drum. The thing I love best is the handmade craftsmanship and the one piece design. Each drum is unique and has great sound. They also come with plenty of excess rope to tighten the drum head after excessive playing. I use my drums for what I call spiritual enlightenment sessions to get people closer to their subconscious. I would recommend these drums to anyone who wants to learn the basics of drum playing, and I will purchase more drums from x8drums whenever I need more or another for my collection.

The price for the skin was good and a good size. Shipping seemed a bit high for the weight. Good overall.

The product was much nicer in person than it had even appeared in the picture, it's exactly what we wanted and is made beautifully and shipping was quick and precise.

I ordered the King Chitah Pro Elite Djembe. The price was great, and the sound quality and ease of playing sounds professional to me! Id go with this drum ;)

You could tell it was new ...some kinks to work out.

Ordered item Thursday, by Monday 3pm it still had not shipped. Online chat service rep Art could not tell me when it would ship. No apology, no information, just argued with me. Very bad service. I paid for Priority Mail $20 shipping, Art said that was not 2-3 day shipping. He said the distributor is shipping the product not X8, and they had no control over when it would go out. They are busy during the holidays. Every other online company is working harder and faster during the holidays and when someone pays for 2 day shipping, they get the item out, or at least understand that someone needs to know when an item will ship.

I didn't know what to expect when I order from this company but they kept me informed of my order status the entire time, which I don't normally get when I've ordered things from other companies in the past. The drum I ordered came fairly quickly and came in one piece! :)
The only complaint I have, is that it wasn't mentioned that I would have to pay customs dues...but that also may just be my own ignorance. In all, a great experience though!
