Anyone who is tempted to buy from this appalling company STOP!
Contact me and I’ll happily negotiate the sale of one of the 58 coins they persuaded my dementia suffering mother to purchase with false values and promise of sound investment and rising values £1.00 each would be a good start price or £50 for all of them

I agree with all the comments shown. How does a company like this remain in business?

Windsor Mint are currently harrasing my 90 year old mother for payment of coins they sent to her unsolicited.

She purchased and paid for an initial set intended for me. I advised her of the poor reviews on here. She spoke to Windsor Mint to make the payment and advised them she wanted nothing more.

She then received a 2nd set which had not been ordered. She returned them.

Windsor Mint claim they have not received them back. They are threatening to send the £99 charge to a debt collection agency.

Shocking bullying tactics. Against a 90 year old.

Do not engage in any business with this company under any circumstances.

Under no circumstances buy from this company...scammers, and you cannot contact them after you purchase..ordered an item weeks ago and has never arrived. AVOID!!!!

Absolute scam, please do not use this company! Their products are worthless and they will stalk you with junk mail forever!

Do not buy anything from this company, I bought 1 item and am now a special customer and receive on average 3 letters a week offering me more rubbish !!!!! Despite phoning them and telling them I do not want to receive mail from them and they promising me to take me off their mailing list .I am still getting their special offers.

Thanks for the reviews guys. I just received a letter from them virtually 10 minutes ago offering me 24 military coins layered in 24ct gold, a free watch, multi purpose knife and free luxury wooden display box. The price is £959 with a voucher worth £819.35p,which left me with about £140 to pay. I must say i was very tempted to buy it until i read these reviews.

PLEASE AVOID at all costs!

We were in receipt of "Windsor Mints" seriously over priced & inferior products, followed by an endless bombardment of unwanted junk mail, despite my requests for all communications from them to cease.

I am now sending all of their rubbish back to them, in their own Freepost envelopes, so they will get to know how we feel!

I only ordered these on behalf of an elderly relative & have regretted it ever since.

Please don't make the same mistake!

Refused to accept my Mother’s registered LPA and forced her to ‘write’ a letter giving me permission to represent her, which only proved she could hold a pen and sign her name to a letter she didn’t understand!

The standards of the coins purchased were good at the start but since, they are now sending what seems to be damaged rejects.

This is an email I received from Windsor Mint today. Can you spot the contradiction? I was willing to keep it with a partial refund but they refused that, so when I return it, will they send it out to another unwitting customer?

Unfortunately as our warehouse is international, the customer service department based in Worcester, UK, don't have access to the items before they get dispatched, therefore we cant guarantee the replacement will be damage free, however I have spoken with the returns department who deal with damaged returns and arrange the replacements, and I've been informed this is most unusual for the strike to arrive in the condition it has.

If you would still like a replacement please just return it to us at Windsor Mint. We would just recommend you obtain and retain a certificate of posting, which is free from any post office, to ensure no demands are placed on you, should the parcel go astray.

Ok Guys this company Windsor Mint doesn't even deserve 1 star
They are a Scam company they will tell you that their coins are layered in 24ct Gold that means nothing these coins are not worth anything.( Wish )company you can get as many Free Gold layered coins as you want.
This company Windsor Mint should be Closed Down for Scamming the uk public.
Please do Not buy from this Scam Company.
If you want to collect gold coins or sovereigns then buy from the
Royal Mint or Hattons Of London
They both sell the real deal.
Also be cautious of a company called The London Mint they to are a Scam company.

Ordered a coin set advertised in a newspaper. Order process was fine, set was delivered well packaged and presented.
Issue comes with what's happened since - I get at least one piece of junk mail (or as they call them - unmissable offers) every day - sometimes I get two in a day.
In a time of environmental concern is it really a good business choice to post people mail shots every day?
It's actually put me off ever using the company again after such a great order experience because they seem to be relentless stalkers.
I'm returning all the mail marked as Return to sender - unwanted mail, so we'll see how long they take to action that.
