Wickes Crewe
We were lucky enough when we wandered in to Wickes Crewe looking for a new kitchen to meet Andrew Critchley. He came out to measure, he knows all the products and did us a fantastic design telling us all the time we can always change it. Then with him we got the most amazing fitters Andy and Ethan of AC Propertt Enhancement’s. They took a wall down and fitted the kitchen but that is to understate what they did . Nothing was too much trouble, they suggested what we could do and then sourced everything, all the time wanting to ensure we had no stress and we had no stress. As perfectionists with such an attention to detail, we ended up with the most beautiful kitchen which we love and actually enjoyed the experience.Thank you so much Andrew Critchley and Andy and Ethan of AC. Went to the Beverley store to buy a large tub of paint , wallpaper etc. The choice of stock was very limited and overpriced. Won't be going back as found all we needed at a Crown paint store and Screwfix.

We had a new bathroom fitted in 2021 and took up the option for Wicks to appoint the installation team.
The bathroom cost £6.5k + lots of other additional charges we paid direct to the installation team, within 1 year the ceiling paint has peeled off so in Jan 22 I contacted Wicks with photos of the ceiling and after a number of email exchanges and phone calls, Wicks told me it’s not their problem as the installation team were responsible who might I add Wicks had stopped using by this time. We are now in 2024 about to embark on a 3rd correction of the ceiling!
I have worked in Customer Service for 35+ years and how this was dealt with is disgraceful, unfortunately the lack of after sales customer service has really let Wicks down and each time I go into the bathroom I feel it has been money wasted

Appalling service from Wicks Rugby. Bought a pair of step ladders which when opened were not long enough. Took them back and was told they would only refund 80%, had they told us when purchasing we would not of bought.

Wicks Are Not Bothered About Helping Anyone!
Asked Wicks if they would kindly give me 10% off as they do for trade customers and basically they said tough luck, you would think they would approach it differently and to try and make a sell but oh no not them.
It just makes me want to go else where especially if they are not willing to help out!

We got a new bathroom from Wickes.
When the plumbers went to fit the radiator it was all rusty. Spoke to Wickes and it was replaced within 48h.

CAME THROUGH IN THE END
After an incredibly bad start, they came through in the end. Am very happy with my kitchen.
After eventually finding someone in the correct department to air my complaints with regard to the original problems, everything was OK and I received some compensation for all the delays/problems.

What a total bunch of idiot
What a total bunch of incompetent people , I am disabled, my balance isn’t good, I bought a security light that lasted just 4 months, I had to wait until I felt well enough to take it down, a 40 minute journey to be told that without my invoice they couldn’t help me, even though the item was date coded and had wicks label on it, the customer service representative didn’t bother to show the vaguest interest , came home contacted wicks on line, found my cc receipt to then be told by wicks on line customer support they wouldn’t except it as proof of purchase, contacted shop, asked to speak to store manager, (it didn’t happen) but store says they will accept cc statement, so wicks you have wasted over 3 hours of my time, cause stress and suffering, and sent me around in circles, by far the worst ever customer after care
Installation
We did have trouble with the installation, but Michael and Rachel from the Colonnades branch were extremely helpful. Michael visited and made a note of all the items we were not happy with and arranged for someone to come and rectify the problems. So because of their help we are now happy with our kitchen
3 weeks and still waiting for my…
3 weeks and still waiting for my refund, no communication at all. Calling customer service all seems nice and helpful but that is far as it go’s. So I’ve decided to go to a store pick the item up and walk straight out, this seems a popular choice these days.
They take your money and then don't have the stock
You order and Pay for your Delivery and then the night before you get a text saying they are unable to deliver due to not having half the stock.
Ordered 24/11/2023 for deliv today. Got a text last night to say that they had insufficient stock to for fill my order.
Rang cust service and they could not care Just refund.

Never again will I shop at Wickes I incorrectly orders a large pedestrian Gate I immediately contacted Wicks who agreed to collect it within the next few days I hope to take it out of its original packaging to check the product and make sure all the contents were there parts were missing from the order and the posts were for incorrect size for the gate I have just had an email from Wickes saying that I will not be entitled to a refund as I damaged the gate total rubbish they also say that it was not returned in the original packaging I had to unpack it to check it it was all complete so now I'm out of pocket with nothing to show for it. Do not shop at wicks

We had our kithcen installed by Wicks at Martlesham Heath, Ipswich. Our fitter (Adam) was amazing and did a brilliant job managing our project. We found him;- polite, accomodating and very professional, the kitchen looks amazing.
AJ designed our kitchen perfectly to meet our needs. Nothing was too much trouble, carrying out a follow up visit both during and after project completion.

Never again.
Hopeless ordered some items for next day delivery took the day off and only two small items arrived, told them to cancel only to be told it could be up to 14 days. For refund, as they could of already sent a replacement from the wearhouse, but I didn't ask them too told them to cancel and Il go to a well know large DIY store instead. They said I may still get the items even when cancelled and to reject them, what if I'm not in or at work and they are left at my home.I have to arrange for picking them up which is putting another delay on my refund It's £100 not just £10. First I was told the courier left all the items which is untrue as I have CCTV. I was also in to take the parcel. Sent it to them as proof.Now I have no goods and no money to go and buy replacement. So a delay again on a job. Won't be using them again.
