Customer service very poor , had a keter storage bench , put it together...wasn't flush !!! Offered a replacement then changed minds as it had been put together then changed their mind again !! Absolutely horrendous!!! Over an hour on the phone , several emails ...won't be ordering from them again

I shopped at wicks on newport Rd cardiff today. A great work colleague named Jamie, not only loaded my trolley with 3 heavy bags of pea gravel but also took them to my car and loaded them in the boot for me. Great service.

We purchased a kitchen from the cwmdu branch in Swansea. From 21st November purchase date. It is now the end of April that’s how long it has taken for us to have a working kitchen. We paid just under £11,000. For the kitchen and have had nothing but hassle and faulty goods. I am a disabled person with back problems and been left to do my dishes in a bath all this time. I have sent so many emails and just get an automated response. If you do buy from them and things go wrong you won’t get any help or compensation. They just fob you off. They will keep saying once the kitchen is finished we will look into a gesture of good will??. No help in sorting out there mistakes. I have had 6 replacement faulty worktop delivered and had wait a week in between each delivery. Each one has had dents, chips and not useable. That’s just the worktops. I had the store designer to measure my kitchen but all the measurements was wrong so had to have another designer come out to redo his job. Anna was brilliant but the delays this caused. Not to mention the cost. I had to pay my electrician twice as every plug socket had to be moved again. I would stay clear from wicks if you plan on such a big investment like a kitchen. It’s supposed to be a enjoyable experience but we had had so much stress, disappointment and hassle it’s taken all the enjoyment out of this. Our friends went to wren and have had such a enjoyable and professional experience. They love their kitchen we hate ours. To sum it up go to wren. You will have much better service

Wicks at Bulwell helped me get my stones ordered ready for delivery. Iam in my 70's and I was struggling. Ben was sent to help me and he went well beyond what I expected. Kind, considerate and efficient. I felt that I mattered and in no way a nuisance. Thankyou Ben and thankyou Wicks at Bulwell.

Asked for a kitchen design quote. Store cancelled the appointment despite architect plans. Kitchen design planned for a few months time. Obviously they are on monthly commission and they were not interested. In fact, we wanted to buy the kitchen and store it. Well.. lost our business. Poor. Booked online for design appt. They’re only interested if you’re having a kitchen within the month. Chorley store.

Julian Haywood did a fantastic job dealing with me for a new kitchen,I would highly recommend him.Very helpful & frendy.

If only I knew what I know now WICKES would not have had my business. Kitchen delivery finally arrived plus a couple more for missing and damaged items. Compensation was mentioned but would be sorted at the end. They are trying to wriggle out of that. Avoid WICKES like the plague and read all reviews.

I went into the Harlow store and I am a woman and wasn't sure what I needed so I asked this man called Richard to help me find some paint for my wooden table. The colour was exactly what I was looking for and he also gave me great advise on using it with a roller. Table looks perfect.
Wish there was more people in these DIY stores with knowledge of what their selling

Terrible service for returns of heavy items. They use a courier called XDP that are absolutely useless. I've had 3 failed attempts of a return collection. Courier giving a later 2 hour window and not showing up when they say they would. I've stayed up past midnight in the hopes that they turn up and they do not show. This reflects terribly on Wickes customer service and the incompetence to use a different courier when requested after the first 2 failed attempts.

I went to my local wicks branch today in Bradford Ingelby road, I was helped by a member of staff Asma with a problem I had and she was so helpful

Cupboard was delivered damaged on the corner. Wasn’t too fussed about the unit as managed to put at the back on the top. But the door has damage on the corner. Took a week to get a reply. No outcome as accused of damaging this.

Spent thousands with wicks and they can’t even help with a new door that was delivered damaged.

They left us without a kitchen now for more than five months. Our scheduled new kitchen fittings was due in mid may 2025 fitters came demanded more money for extra jobs paid upfront hundreds of pounds they removed our kitchen and disappeared wicks didn’t resolve the situation till now we are now going to court . Five months WITHOUT RUNNING WATER, WITHOUT Cocker without WASHING MACHINE, new kitchen boxes occupying the house and the old kitchen still occupies our driver way

My wife and son went to Wickes to choose a new kitchen Wicks Brentwood design consultant Navdeep Bhandal came the same day he was so helpful throughout the whole experience we were very grateful to him.

Having previously bought a Wickes Kitchen 6/7yrs ago, I was already familiar with the quality and finish of the product, so it was an easy decision to invite one of their team to come and take a look at the space available at my new property. The initial consultation was thorough and although the final decision on the design took a couple of meetings. The kitchen designer (Charmaine) was very happy to let me explore all the options, making helpful suggestions on how best to achieve the ideal solution. The design of the kitchen was only the first step as even though the order was closed, Charmaine continued to help with the selection of floor and wall tiles and remained in close contact right up to delivery and sign off of the inventory. As the construction progressed she continued to help, where I needed extra items which I had overlooked. The end result is a beautiful kitchen which came in on budget and has been complimented by everyone who has seen it. Based on my experiences I would happily recommend the team at Wickes Christchurch for any kitchen requirements they may have.

Not an exhaustive list:
1. Laminate click flooring has broken apart.
2. After 6 months the metal handles are rusting.
3. The cabinets stain.
4. Cabinet doors sagging.
5. Cabinet fittings woefully inadequate.
6. I had to reconfigure just about every aspect
of the fitting to ensure robustness.
7. Customer support poor.

We have had a kitchen fitted, or partially fitted, with no hob or sink, this was supposed to take two weeks and we are now at the start of week five, just been told no further work until Friday, this will take us into week six although they have the parts.

Also they have damaged the house alarm by cutting a wire.

We have been very lucky with the Chatham store helping us out with donations for our community garden at All Saints Community Project. Thank you to Bob and Terry for the much appreciated donations. We look forward to working with you in the future.

Total mess up from beginning to end went into store to by 12 fence panels and a gate saw the correct ones and was given a price, at check out was overcharged by £300 complained and was told it was because of the fence manufactur , panels delivered on time not what was in the store looked and felt as they where made up of old pallets complaint and was told they would collect them and sort out the order after three collection days and 10 phone calls they collected.
Wait a week for a refund no refund contacted CS and told they would call back surprise no call when I called them they said the store which took the fences had not updated the system after a week told I had to go back to the store which I did so after 3 weeks of phone calls laying builders off and taking time off from work it's sorted store said to contact C S about some form of discount or compensation but told wicks dont do any of doses things so if it goes wrong you get no help from wicks what a Joke of a company

Ranj was brilliant from start to finish in supervising the fitting of our new Kitchen. Nothing was to much trouble for her when dealing issues and snags arising. She was both professional and efficient, In our opinion she is an absolute great asset to your company. Many thanks also to the excellent professionalism of the Fitter, Agy.
