Massive delay in doors arriving vs what was advertised on site. £50 us a lot to charge for a slow delivery service. 2 stars as at least customer services refund the delivery fee due to delays

We can see on the system that your delivery failed due to restrictions at your address that we had no prior notification of before delivery was attempted.
Due to this failing on the first attempt the order had to go back to the delivery depot to be rescheduled for another day once we had information from yourselves on the restrictions.
We can only apologise for the inconvenience this has caused.
Absolutely shocking service
Absolutely shocking service. Their staff are rude, disinterested and unhelpful. In fact I am still awaiting a call back from one of their supervisors that I was promised 2 weeks ago. You can buy exactly the same doors at the same prices elsewhere and if I had my time over again that is precisely what I would do.
I also now want to respond to the reply from Vivid Doors. I believe that the response is economical with the truth.
I was not provided with any delivery details prior to the “missed delivery “ the first I knew was when I received a mail telling me that it would cost £40 to rearrange delivery. I accept I never paid this but the only reason the doors were delivered were because I phoned the courier who were very helpful and arranged delivery the following day without ever mentioning any charge. I was told that the couriers would not deliver the following day. So the message is if you are reading this review is if you buy from this site be aware that if things don’t go to plan you will not get any help from Vivid Doors.
I must also say the fitted doors look great !

Hi Chris, We are sorry to hear you are unhappy with the service received. We can see on the system that the first delivery attempt failed, however as the suppliers could not show that a delivery date had been arranged with yourself the redelivery was arranged free of charge.
From when the issue was raised with ourselves we can see that new contact information was provided on the 11th , the couriers called you on the 12th with a redelivery scheduled in for the 13th. We understand these delays are frustrating however we have tried to get this resolved as quickly as possible for you.
The doors that you have ordered come directly from the manufacture JB Kind who book in and organise their own deliveries, if you had ordered these doors from another retailer these would have been delivered by the same courier as JB Kind deliver all of their own products.
We can only apologise for the inconvenience this has caused you.

This order was delivered by Rhenus who is a third party courier that we use to deliver our orders, unfortunately they experienced an internal issue affecting multiple orders with yours unfortunately being one of them. We completely understand your frustration in trying to get a redelivery date and can only apologise that this took much longer than expected. We are in the process of bringing in our own delivery fleet to enable us to have more control over deliveries and provide a more consistent, reliable service to our customers. Door are excellent. Delivery awful. Promised one day, cancelled the evening before. Promised the next Sunday. Double checked. No-one turned up. Promised the following Sunday. Arrived on the Wednesday instead. Fortunately, Katie took control and helped enormously.

Please accept our sincere apologies that the delivery from Rhenus did not go as planned multiple times, this is not acceptable and is not the service we want to offer our customers.
This has been raised with Rhenus and their management to look into and to ensure this situation does not happen again to our customers.
We are in the process of building our own delivery fleet to allow us to have more control over the deliveries and provide a consistently reliable service to our customers going forward.

I should have read reviews before ordering from these guys. Put a large order in, some were out of stock. Split order arranged for delivery with their delivery company, they get you to pick a day for delivery. So I arranged joiners to come the day after only on the day to be told delivery is now one day late. Messed me up with joiners. The out of stock doors didn’t come when they said and no email was sent to say this. The customers service team, if you can even get through are poor. One girl sounded like she did not want to be there. Have spent hours on hold trying to get through, seems like they just don’t care about customer satisfaction. Wouldn’t use again

Unfortunately, Rhenus the couriers we used for your order experienced an internal system issue affecting a handful of orders and causing them to be delayed. For this we would like to sincerely apologise and completely understand your frustration regarding this, we are in the process of bringing in our own delivery fleet to allow us to have more control over the deliveries and provide a consistently reliable service to our customers.
Regarding the out-of-stock door on your order, the dates provided are estimated and unfortunately can experience delays for a variety of reasons, such as bad weather affecting the port and containers coming in, this is something that is completely outside of our control. We will always try to keep customers updated if a restocking date has been pushed back however as we supply external supplier products we sometimes do not find out about the delay until the customer has requested an update.
We can only apologise for the inconvenience this has caused you.
I recommend Vivid doors
I had been looking for a door for a while to replace a very old 50's style glazed one which was an odd size.
This door came oversized but had plenty of trimming allowance so my carpenter was able to fit it in it's original frame.
What a transformation!
The staff were pleasant and helpful when I rang for advice
It was delivered with care at 8pm !
And he brought it inside my house
