Sales call made the offer seem simple enough, first installer was keen to leave early v's completing the installation. Second engineers visited and without my intervention would have rushed the job and left it looking like a mess outside. Speed has so far been mixed and has dropped out multiple times. I've now got the challenge of getting the refund back from Trooli for my early termination. Customers want simplicity and so far the transition has not been.

Belmirro Khoza was absolutely excellent. Really helpful with sorting out my internet package as there were issues. Kept daily contact regarding the progress and was overall super friendly.

The connection is good but it's fibre what do you expect. What let Trooli down is the lack of professionalism, the disorganisation, the poor communication, and the disparity between departments regarding policy.
I'm an existing Trooli customer, and have been for at least 5 years now. I've taken the responsibility of getting fibre installed for my Dad who is a partially sighted pensioner who isn't very good with anything tech but he still needs a fibre for all the streaming services on his TV etc. So as my personal experience has been ok I naturally suggested Trooli and began the process.
I ordered the service in my dad's name, using his email address, phone number etc, and set up the direct debit, with his consent... Obviously. During the order, I was asked about additional contacts so I placed my details alongside a note to explain my Dad doesn't understand and to CC me in all communication.
An installation date was scheduled so we marked it in the calendar and waited for the day. I'd scheduled it for a time that I could go and be there whilst they install, so I can answer questions and Dad doesn't have to worry. The day came and the guy showed up on time, but the problem was that no site survey had been done in the 2 weeks prior, so they had not realised that there was no trunk from the road to the house where a new fibre cable could be fed into. The man confirmed that this meant he could not install and had to book for another team to come out to dig a trench to lay a trunk... Ok fine. Personally I would expect then to have that figured out before the install date but whatever.
Over the next few weeks, Trooli tried to contact my Dad 4 times via email without CC'ing me, to discuss a cost associated with the trench digging that was required. My note to contact me instead and the point about my dad being partially sighted was ignored entirely.
Eventually, I gave Trooli a call to get a status update and they explained that they would not cover the full cost of the work and it would need to be covered by my Dad's contract. At first this bothered me (it's the cost of doing business, you need to get the cable to the client...?) and at this point I cancelled the order to look at other options.
It didn't take long for me to come to my senses and realise that the other providers in the area would also need a trench digging, and Trooli would still work out the cheapest - so, with my tail between my legs I returned to Trooli to reinstate the order. I was told that cancellations are final so had to put in a new order, and the promotional rate I had originally signed up for was no longer available. Convenient. Oh well, that's on me.
So I set up a new order, and I asked the sales rep how I could be sure that they would contact me instead. I was told that the best action would be to set up the account in my name and my bank, then change it to my Dad's later. Remember this for later!
We scheduled the trench digging work, agreed the cost, and waited the couple of weeks. They came, they dug the trench, looks like they've done a good job - though I don't actually think this work is done by Trooli.
Then finally we scheduled the install date again. Once more I scheduled this for a date where I could come to visit my Dad (he lives about 30 mins away btw), and scheduled this for PM so that I would have time in the morning to sort myself out - I have some other work I need to do for dad including putting a new ethernet cable in between the new router and upstairs, mounting router to the wall, etc.
Well I received a panicked call from my Dad 3 hours before the install window to say they were already there, so I had to spring to action to get over there quickly, and did not have time to get any of my things together - so that other work will have to be done another time.
I arrived to find that, although Dad had explained he can't see well or therefore read, they had him sign documents, even though the contract wasn't even in his name at this time. I had the guy show me the paperwork to check things over and it was okay but I didn't think that was very professional.
They completed the installation and I will admit, it was to a perfectly acceptable standard, ran some independent speed tests etc and I was satisfied.
Now, before the guy could move on to the next job he wanted me to sign a document stating satisfaction of the work completed. I read this over and explained that I could not sign as one of the points was to say that they arrived during the scheduled installation window. As this was not the case I needed that to be unticked before I signed, and it would not let me untick it. This is where a paper document would have been superior to digital!
This all took about an extra hour and eventually the guy left after a chat with his supervisor.
I'm running out of characters but I've since been told by Trooli that it's not policy to transfer accounts and they won't do it...

Marcia was very helpful in adjusting my renewal price so that it matched one of the cheapest deals available. I am pleased that I can stay with Trooli because I have always found the staff very friendly and obliging, and the very few technical problems I had were swiftly solved.

I first encountered Trooli when an engineer was working on a neighbour's house earlier this year - I got chatting and he told me about the full fibre service they provide so when my contract with EE expired I contacted Trooli. They fitted the new broadband service, no problems, and faster for about half the price I was paying before.
Very pleased and glad I encountered the engineer who was helpful and informed.

I cannot rate Trooli high enough, after struggling for months with Openreach and EE broadband they have installed their own new cabling and I now have a solid & stable 2gb full fibre connection. I work from home so a reliable broadband connection is essential and I had months of issues with my EE broadband, constant dropouts and weeks without access! After discussing my situation with Trooli, I went ahead a placed an order, within two weeks they had engineers out installing the new cabling and I was connected. It has now been a couple of months and no issues so far, highly recommended.

After the move, I am still without internet having tried to take out service with Trooli. They needed to send out a router, which then 'failed' delivery on the 24th June (I have since proven that the courier neither attended the correct street, nor even got out of his van).
I rearranged delivery, which then did not happen. I spoke with the courier company (APC), who said I could collect it from the depot this past Saturday, 4th July. I spent 45 minutes there, and they could not find it. It was last scanned on the 25th, apparently. It is lost in the system, and I should speak to Trooli.
I then called Trooli, who informed me that they cannot send another router until the missing one is returned. It seems Trooli believe I should wait indefinitely for the courier they employ to resolve their own issues before they resolve those of their customers. As of the initial delivery date, we are now 12 days without internet, with no end in sight as to when this will be resolved.
I had not heard of Trooli before the move, and I sincerely wish I still hadn't. It's easy to point the finger at the courier, but Trooli choose to use them, and none of this is any fault of mine, yet I am seemingly left on my own to sort this out. It's absurd.

Very impressed with the engineer who carried out the installation. Obviously experienced and quick, tidied up as he progressed the work. Neat layout of the instrumentation inside. So far connecting is quicker for existing systems. Well pleased and looking forward to exploring further.

Waited years for fiber to come to my village. Was active within a few days of ordering the 2Gbps package. I get 2300 down and about 1600 up. The engineer was polite and made a good job of running the cables. For £40 a month its much better than BT in terms of value and speed. Well done
