Great Customer Service !

Thanks to Keilli for promptly looking after my issue after only half of my order was delivered. Live chat was very successful.

Fantastic customer service.
I received a pair of power leggings as a gift and after a few wears a hole appeared at the seam. After reaching out to customer service they organised a replacement straight away!

There are always delays with deliveries.

I’ve had orders go missing twice before, and by the time the issue was resolved, some of the items I wanted were sold out.

The issue I’ve had this time is that I placed my order on Sunday, paid for next-day delivery, and it’s now Friday and I still haven’t received it.

On top of that, the only way to contact customer service is through a live chat available Monday to Friday, between 10am and 5pm. There isn’t even an email address to contact them, which makes resolving issues unnecessarily difficult and frustrating.

I need to return some items. I went through the return process and received the email with the return QR and label. The link is broken in the email. Sweaty Betty are not responding to my request for assistance.

The staff in the shops are always so friendly and helpful. They wear the clothes so they have good knowledge. There was an issue with a voucher which the customer service team quickly resolved. The communication was good. Thank you.

Both Charlotte C and Emily T were incredibly helpful when an error on payment didn’t apply a gift card to the transaction I made on the SB website. Charlotte was able to advise me of the steps to take and even was able to send me an email confirming the actions and next steps (for my piece of mind). Emily T was then able to apply the gift card that I had to the retrospective transaction and refund my card! Really grateful to both of them for their support and being able to help me!

3 women in the house and we all love Sweaty Betty, quality always great but ordered a pair of power leggings and hole in top of leg inseam after one wear. Emailed complaints no answer back after waiting 3 days so went on their live chat with Sophie and resolved in 10 minutes. Sending out replacement pair. Happy days. Thank you. Giving 4 stars due to not coming back to 1st contact email I had to chase.

I’ve posted a couple of critical reviews about Sweaty Betty, so felt it was only fair to do a review when I had the opposite experience, as I did today. I bought a sports bra a few weeks ago, and on the first wash, one of the seems had unraveled. I messaged customer services via the chat on the website. Sophie answered almost immediately. She quickly understood the issue and sent me out a replacement, no fuss, no faff, this has restored my faith in Sweaty Betty, so I just wanted to give credit where credit is due.

On 23 May ordered. Received 'despatched' notification on 27 May. Dismayed to see courier is Evri, which are terrible locally (we live down a 2 mile lane, and the majority of parcels are left in other houses which begin with 'Tre' - about 50%+ of most houses in Cornwall! - or just dumped any old where. In fact, my house is used by the Evri courier as a dumping ground for everyone's parcels, on the rare occasion he bothers to come to my village). Then heard NOTHING. On 1 June, as 1 week and 2 days since ordering, and nothing showing on tracking, messaged Sweaty Betty. Auto-reply - we usually reply within 3 days. I've heard nothing. On at 8:06pm, 2 June, while I am sitting in the sitting room RIGHT BY THE FRONT DOOR I get a 'sorry we've missed you' email from Sweaty/Evri. This is NOT TRUE - THERE IS NO COURIER HERE AND HAS NOT BEEN ! (DPD and Royal Mail managed to deliver successfully on the same day - and in any case, Evri, on the rare occasions they arrive here, just sling the parcel in the garden anyway!). 3 June, tracking shows 'inbound' parcel (I think it's weird that the parcel has been 'out' since at no point did it show as having arrived). If indeed it get into a courier's car, it obviously just sat there all day, while he DIDN'T come here. Have sent 3 more messages on 1st, 2nd and now 3rd June to customer service at Sweaty Betty. I have no idea why a premium brand like SB uses such a low-rent courier service like Evri, but also then fails to have any customer service at all. If I don't get a resolution by 12 noon tomorrow, I'll apply for a chargeback. Absolutely dreadful experience so far.

UPDATE - 4th June - I finally managed to get on to online chat where Sophie C. was very helpful. She agreed that the items were lost, and refunded me - the refund notification appeared instantly on my phone. She then re-ordered every item and kept the 25% discount that I'd got from buying on a flash sale, and made the delivery (with DPD, not Evri!) free, instead of £6. So - if everything turns up tomorrow I'll have a completely different opinion! but for now, as I'm currently still down £146.25 (as I had to pay again), it's still 1 star.

Sweaty Betty customer services is appalling! Great products which I have worn for years but when things go wrong, you cannot get any help. I have an issue with an incorrect return which I have been in chat to 3 times and have sent the requested information each time because the chat system does not save or share between advisors and then resorted to email which has also gotten me no wear. I’d say sort out your customer services SB!

Ordered 4 pairs of 7/8’s and kept 2 and when wearing realised that this one pair was too big round the waist and groin area. Made a quick call to customer services and the experience was fantastic a new pair sent out and a return ticket to send back the not so old worn once ones ! Excellent from start to finish and a great customer adviser who was very helpful and very knowledgeable! 5/5 keep up the good work

I had a great experience with the SB chat function today. I have never used it, and was apprehensive that it would be AI but it was a real person. I was 2nd in the queue but the queue went quickly. And the lady I spoke to Charlotte C was so helpful with understanding my problem. I needed to swap a size but keep the original discount from Bank Holiday and she was great! Will use again.

Went to Liverpool Street store today and Rhian and Lena were there exceptional. They went above and beyond, they are exactly how you want retail staff to be. Helpful, courteous and friendly. I’ll definitely be back more often thanks to them - you’re the best.

Had to go to the Ashford outlet today… filled with dread at the thought of huge crowds and the inevitable disappointment of returning home empty handed, we headed into town (*shudder).

My partner needed some leggings. “Great!” She said “They have a Sweaty Betty!”
Clueless, I nodded, and in we went.
She picked out some things and asked my opinion… I am old enough now not to fall into that trap. “Mmm, it’s alright.” I would remark.
Eventually, the senior manager came over and asked if we needed some help.
We would normally say that we were just browsing and shyly tiptoe out of the shop. This time, we agreed that we did in fact need some help.

The manager was brilliant! She helped my partner get exactly what she needed and checked in on us while in the changing rooms trying some things on.
I feel compelled to write this review as you rarely seem to get this level of service anymore.
We will definitely shop here again, what a pleasant experience!

Also, I should mention that the younger members of staff were polite and extremely helpful… a real credit to your brand!
