Overpriced and under functioning
Ben my chree is a load of shite. Why book so many passengers onto a boat with not enough seats? We were forced to stand on the outside deck for the whole trip like many others. Not worth the near 70 quid it cost me one way!!! Joke!

We regret that you spent your journey travelling on the outside deck. While Ben-my-Chree is smaller and holds less passengers, we never overbook our sailings and there is a seat available for every passenger that's booked on; unfortunately, it may not always be possible for those travelling together to sit together, but seating is available. The crew on board can also assist with finding a seat.

Getting the ferry is a neccesary evil
The only reason anyone travels by steampacket is because they have to , business or pleasure , nationality , hobbies - non of your business .
Pay extra if you want a seat , I heard someone say its just as well its not the Titanic or we would be locked in steerage with the cattle .
And all for the price of a 2 week all inclusive break in Spain from the UK , flights , hotel , all you can eat and drink or 4 tedious and uncomfortable hours to escape an Island so backward they still don't have a reliable mobile phone network .
