It was a very rough crossing IoM/Hey…
It was a very rough crossing IoM/Hey but I was comfortable in the Niarbyl Lounge.
I returned on the same day,with my dog, who travelled in the kennels. Although the cage was,clean and plenty big enough, I feel that the location was in the wrong place - much too near the vehicles with all the noise and exhaust fumes. My dog certainly didn't enjoy the experience.

Easy online booking procedure
Easy online booking procedure. Any changes to boat type/time for example have always been notified to me by sms. Fair pricing structure for my small campervan. Would like to see a loyalty scheme for frequent users.

Very disappointed with current service
Very disappointed with current service. With the Manxman out of commission, we were transferred to the Ben. We are travelling with a pet and there is no real allowance for pet owners. There is one seat available per pet in the lounge meaning my husband and I can't sit together on the journey. Pets are not allowed in any other lounges/ on the outside deck - a search on the website comes up with no results for pets on this boat and the customer service team are inflexible in regards to where you can go.

We appreciate the frustration caused by the change to your vessel. Because the Ben-my-Chree's pet lounge is a fair bit smaller than we have to follow the 1 passenger:1 pet ratio, especially during busy sailings. While pets aren't allowed in other lounges, they are allowed on the outside deck during the sailing and don't need to stay inside.
We appreciate your comments regarding the lack of communication about pets on board Ben-my-Chree and will look at making this more obvious on the website.
