I managed to book a 2am trip from Heysham
I managed to book a 2am trip from Heysham. Doubtless I was at fault in not checking carefully enough. I put down I wanted a morning trip from Liverpool and presumably as one wasn't available I got the Heysham one instead.

We understand how frustrating it can be when a booking doesn't align with your expectations, especially regarding departure times and locations. If there isn't a morning sailing from Liverpool, or if it's sold out, the system will show you the closest sailing options.

The booking was easy
The booking was easy, but the reservation for the seat was not clear, where is the front of the ship. I did not realy understand the amount for the tickets. One information said everything is payed. Do I have to pay a second amount? This was not clear. It is my first time travelling to the Isle of man and wirh your company. Kind regards

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you did not find the seat reservation or ticket pricing very clear, we do understand the importance of this.
With regards to the seating, please see here more information about our vessels which includes a layout which may assist you with the seat locations/directions (https://www.steam-packet.com/about-us/our-vessel).
For the TT deposit booking, you will receive a confirmation before the end of 2026 which will detail the full fare of the booking with the balance due to be paid by the 26th February 2027. I found the staff extremely polite and helpful when having to change the booking due to ongoing problems with the companies main vessel, they helped sort out the changes to my original booking and the requests I made due to these problems with a smile on their face , even though they probably felt it had been a hard day due to said problems being on the frontline of all this

The booking system is very easy but the pricing needs to be looked at. I was going to book for the Friday but it was £126 for a foot passenger to Liverpool. I went on the Thursday to save over £50!

The booking system resets if using a mobile booking. It took me 6 attempts to finalise my booking. The price was awful as well. I expected to pay £100 less than I had. Unfortunately we had to book the dates we had as we have somewhere to be that weekend.

More boats for TT please.
In the context that I am a foreign tourist, not familiar with your system, I found it complicated. I'm used to booking a ferry, which I do several times a year, as though I'm buying a ticket to a movie theatre. It took me several times to get through it. When I completed it I realised that I had booked a departure at 02:30, pretty early for me. I didn't know that was considered a normal departure time. I was thankful that I could alter that departure time without too much complication. Also, I assumed booking a boat 10 months in advance for TT would be ample lead time, not so. I suggest finding a way to associate accommodations with a boat (or plane) reservation.

It was a very rough crossing IoM/Hey…
It was a very rough crossing IoM/Hey but I was comfortable in the Niarbyl Lounge.
I returned on the same day,with my dog, who travelled in the kennels. Although the cage was,clean and plenty big enough, I feel that the location was in the wrong place - much too near the vehicles with all the noise and exhaust fumes. My dog certainly didn't enjoy the experience.
