We would hire this company again in a heartbeat, great contact pre event day to make sure everything would run smoothly. Friendly efficient staff on the day, the set up service and clear down was seamless. The food was fantastic and the portions were plentiful, everyone in our business has commented on how nice the food was and there was also a good choice of rolls for people to choose their preference.

Couldn't recommend more. Spitting pig provided their slow roast meats option for our wedding and it was fantastic. All of my guests raved about the food and are still mentioning it now (special mention goes to the Mac n cheese!) They were so knowledgeable and accommodating to the allergies we had and were so helpful when I asked if food could be started a little earlier. Thank you guys, you’re great :)

Great venue at our Veolia site for staff Wellbeing day. Food and service was really nice from Tim and Fin. Nice set up. Plenty of hog roast and vegetarian option. Really tasty, well presented sides, salads, sauces. Highly recommend it to everyone from smaller group to larger venues.

From a speedy quote to arriving on time and producing great food, with really friendly people cooking and serving, I just can’t fault the Spitting Pig. I will luckily be eating the leftovers for several days! Yum!! 😋

Spitting Pig catered at my daughter's Wedding on August 15th at Drybeck Farm Cumbria. The food was really good and there were vegetarian options too. The service was first class and the staff really professional and helpful. Would highly recommend the company

I recently had Spitting Pig cater our wedding, and wow!! I knew I wanted somthing different that wasn’t the typical served 3 course meal!
Internet research led me to them, we had never tried them but “took the risk” and wow, didn’t it pay off!
From the very first enquiry the team were so helpful and prompt at getting everything set up, nothing was a hassle and they were always so quick at getting back to emails answering any questions or making amendments!
The food options were insane and actually hard to narrow it down!
The actual meal it’s self was amazing, they catered for our 120 guests including canapés and not one bad word or meal had from anyone, Infact all evening we got “who was your caterer the meal was wonderful”
Can guarantee you’ve never had portion sizes this big at a wedding before, even seconds and thirds offered!!
We are South Ayrshire based and had Brian and his team and what a pleasure they all were!!
They cleared all plates and even packaged up any left offers for us!
Honestly, couldn’t hesitate to recommend! 100% will use in the future!

Spitting Pig are fantastic. The staff are professional but friendly and very open to working with you to make your event the best it can be. We've tried a few different menus over the past few years and everything has been delicious and high quality, which is why we continue to book with them. Highly recommend

We honestly cannot recommend this company highly enough! We used them for a hog roast for our workplace event, with around 110 people to cater for, and they were absolutely incredible from start to finish.

The food was UNREAL – everything was fresh, delicious and plentiful, and the hog roast was a massive hit with everyone. We had so many people commenting on how good the food was!

What really stood out was the service. They were professional, friendly, organised and incredibly helpful, making everything so easy for us. With a large number of staff and people needing to eat at different times, they handled everything brilliantly and nothing felt like too much trouble.

They played a huge part in making our event such a success. It’s not often you find a company that delivers such fantastic food and fantastic service, but these guys absolutely did.

The food was absolutely amazing! There was such a fantastic selection and everything was delicious. We had so many compliments from our guests on the night, but what really says it all is that people were still talking about the food the next day and telling us how great it was!

What I thought was going to be a chaotic experience turned out to be the most seamless experience I’ve ever had. From the minute we made the booking, communication from the spitting pig couldn’t have been more professional . They talked through everything, explained what would happen. When they arrived you wouldn’t have know they were there until the smell of the food. The food was divine, everyone commented on how delicious it was and all went for seconds. Before we knew it they had cleared up as if they hadn’t been there. I would definitely book again and recommend to anyone. Thank you.

We hired the Spitting Pig company to cater our wedding. We wanted a relaxed garden party at home but didn’t want the work involved of catering the event. The Spitting Pig was exceptional from beginning to end and gave us exactly what we wanted.
Out event hosts were Chris and Kayleigh, Kayleigh was our initial contact and dealt with the ordering and menu choices in the 1st instance. She was lovely and nothing was too much trouble. We had a dairy allergy (My Mom), 2 Celiac and some vegetarians and she put me at ease straight away and assured me this would be no problems and even offered to make a diary free Mac and Cheese. (My Mom loved this and even asked to take the leftovers home)
Chris was present on the day; he was brilliant too. He arrived in good time, and we even felt comfortable enough to leave him at our home to set up as we left to get married and when we come back, everything was ready and sorted for us.
The food was superb; everyone commented on how good the meat was and how lovely the whole set up was. After they had finished serving, they cleared away even took the rubbish away with them, you would never have known they had been.
I would highly recommend The Spitting Pig and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. 5 Star service from beginning to end. Very personal able, friendly and professional and amazing food.

Wedding event. The food was incredible, the staff really friendly and the set up was exceptionally clean. Such a massive variety of food and will definitely be using again, just need the excuse.All Of our friends wanted details so they can use you as well.

An outstanding company, my daughter hired them for her wedding, we couldn’t have asked for better, wonderful friendly staff, who’s level of service was impeccable considering the logistics of the venue. The charcuterie boards were amazing both visually and in variety, the hog roast was very tender and full of flavour, served with delicious homemade coleslaw, then finished off with perfectly presented desserts. I’d highly recommend this company.

We chose the BBQ and hog roast with vegetarian options for our work summer party, and it exceeded all of our expectations. From the initial booking right through to the event itself, the team were fantastic to deal with. They were friendly, responsive, and very accommodating when we needed to make additions to our booking, ensuring everything was taken care of. They also catered for all of our dietary requirements without any issues, making sure everyone had plenty of delicious options to enjoy. The setup was professional, well organised, and carried out with no disruption to the rest of the day's activities, allowing everything to run smoothly. The food was absolutely delicious and received compliments from everyone throughout the event. So easy to organise and book, we were supported to make the right decisions for our day. The hosts contacted us to talk through the timings and food choices, which was great.
On the day, they arrived and set up and were friendly, professional and fun. Anyone could go and see the hog! This went down so well for us.
The food was fresh and tasty and everyone enjoyed it. The crackling was superb!
This is our second event using the spitting pig and we would highly recommend them.

Kerry and Kaz took on our outdoor party at short notice. I'd thought I could do all the catering myself, but with a British heatwave, little fridge space and full time job to hold down I caved and reached out to caters.

Spitting Pig had the availability. I emailed a central team (in the North) and they got me paired up with a local branch.

Kate and Saskia in central office were good.

Kerry and Kaz joined us from near Leicester/Northamptonshire for our party in Cambridgeshire. Ben in their office was fab too.

It was my husbands 50th birthday, and above 30 degrees Celsius.

I wanted extras in addition to their BBQ menu, which we arranged during booking. They were happy to help.

They had a great set of menus but I liked their BBQ one best and the choice was excellent.

Great burgers, pulled pork, marinated ribs, pulled jackfruit and Halloumi skewers - loved the salad and gourmet coleslaw too.

They arrived in good time, they communicated clearly with me, the set up looked amazing, guests loved it, the food was delicious, and they were professional and jovial throughout.

Would highly recommend.

Afterwards they packed down and helpfully gave us all our left overs.

Honestly everyone was very impressed and it really took the weight off my shoulders.

My husband got to BBQ his own hot dogs on our BBQ as he wished, and the ladies did the rest on their kit. Which meant once he'd handed a good few hot dogs out he was free to host in different ways and greet his guests. He wasn't tied down to things and neither was I.

REALLY good value for money. Very well prepared and responsive.

We're eating luscious leftovers today too!

I'm now thinking what other occasions I can dream up, so we can hire them again 🙂
