Ik was enorm sceptisch om hier iets te bestellen gezien de vele negatieve reviews, dus ik heb eerst de klantenservice getest door te vragen of zij mij konden bellen. Dat werd door een keurige meneer gedaan een paar uur na mijn verzoek. Uitgelegd dat ik sceptisch ben ivm de reviews en eigenlijk niet durf te bestellen, dat begreep hij helemaal, maar hij gaf aan dat sinds 1 juli er een grote wijziging is geweest binnen de organisatie waardoor de klantenservice nu wel optimaal is en ik dus gerust kon bestellen, hem evt terug mocht bellen bij problemen of vragen. Fijn!
Bestelling geplaatst na dit belletje, binnen paar uur al een melding dat de bestelling verzonden was (met express levering, dat is tegen een kleine vergoeding, dan verzenden ze extra snel). Volgende dag keurig bezorgd door GLS!
Producten in top staat. Alles helemaal super dus! Ben heel blij met deze winkel!!

Ich konnte hier Pokémon Tonies vorbestellen, die bei dem Hersteller in der Vorbestellung vergriffen waren. Schade, dass man je Bestellung nur einen Artikel vorbestellen kann.
Aufgrund eines technischen Fehlers wurde eine Bestellung doppelt aufgegeben. Konnte kostenlos retourniert werden.
Finde das Angebot super. Lieferung erfolgt schnell und unkompliziert.
Finde es gut, dass die Artikel auch in den Geschäften zurückgegeben werden können. Bin mit meinen Bestellungen und deren Abwicklung zufrieden.

Oh my gosh, what a nightmare. So spent over £300 on a wooden swing set for my one child, a 2 year old toddler. Didn't set up for at least 2 months and had it up under a year and I've just noticed deep cracks through all the 7 poles. Unacceptably deep, for a barely used swing set.
Upon contacting customer services, they have tried every way but which to avoid paying out/replacing. They wanted a measurement of each of thecracks width and depth (I sent 35 photos). Explained getting a depth is unrealistic. Long story short, they initially said they will replace 2 poles, changed to 6 'as a good will gesture' as I had had the frame over a year (explaining to them I had it for 2 months before putting it up).
Extremely impossible service team, different person emailing me back each time. Guys DO NOT order anything other than a doll from Smyth's, the standard of their products are below average at best!

Smyths Ai provides no effective mechanism to cancel a prepaid Click & Collect order once placed. I contacted customer service in advance to cancel and was told their system does not allow orders to be cancelled manually. The only option is therefore to leave the order uncollected, wait for Smyths to automatically cancel it, and then incur a non-collection fee. Even giving clear advance notice of cancellation does not prevent the fee. Don’t accept the automated cancellation response — ask for a human review.

Meant to be a toy shop for kids. They do sporadic drops for all the Pokémon items and the same customers buyer at all. The products never. Any chance for to get anything for the kids? They say first come first serve but you don't stand a chance because By the time you get down there, you can't get nothing they need to look in maybe doing something like a raffle so people actually stand a chance cuz you just see the same people down there. Buying out all the products everyday. Disgusting

Totally unfair the staff get the pick of the items before they come available in store

Tolle Angebote, aber lasst euch nicht täuschen und gebt lieber etwas mehr aus. Es sei denn ihr habt Zeit, um auf eure Bestellung zu warten. Tag 14 und ich warte immer noch auf mein Kindersitz. Kundenservice ist freundlich und bemüht, aber was wirklich veranlasst wird, weiß man nicht. Neubestellung beim Drittanbieter, Ware (sollte sie ankommen) wird nicht angenommen

The worst toy store to buy a product.
They are now selling cheap chinese electronic items.
Please don't buy any items like RC buggies.. Or any other electronic items as once they are opened and gone faulty.
You have to go through customer services.
They don't have a phone number.
There is one but it is closed now.
The customer services will also keep on asking you all the details of everything including your child name and age.
So please avoid thia store.
Buy from Amazon... Atleast you can send it back.

Absolute Katastrophe!
Wir haben einen Artikel bekommen, der Defekt war und mit Sicherheit auch schon mal reklamiert, da die Verpackung schon aufgerissen und wieder stümperhaft zugeklebt war.
Wir schickten nach einem Telefonat mit dem Kundencenter das Teil zurück und bestellten ein Neues.
Vorher mussten wir Fotos hinschicken und alles erklären.
Ein paar Tage später kam das neue/alte Teil dann wieder genauso bei uns an wie wir es zurückgeschickt haben.
Das war unsere neue Bestellung!
Immernoch Defekt und sicherlich dann schon mindestens das 3. Mal an Kunden verschickt, obwohl es reklamiert war.
Dumm dass sie es an die gleichen Leute geschickt haben.
Nie wieder werden wir dort etwas kaufen, egal wie günstig die Preise sind.
Den Stress den wir hatten mit abholen, auspacken, einpacken, anrufen, Fotos machen, Email schreiben zurückschicken ( in einem überdimensionalen Karton,der nicht ins Auto passt)...und das ganze 2 Mal.
Onlineshopping sollte Zeitsparend sein.
Die Leute im Kundenservice sind sehr nett, aber helfen konnten sie auch nicht.
Den Stress hatten wir.

Nous avons acheté il y a quasiment un an une balançoire en bois qui, dès le départ, présentait plusieurs défauts.
J’ai donc contacté le magasin, qui m’a renvoyée vers une adresse e-mail… à laquelle personne ne répond (sauf une réponse automatique comme quoi ma demande ne sera pas traité). Nous avons finalement dû démonter la balançoire, car celle-ci était devenue dangereuse pour notre fille.
Depuis plusieurs mois, on nous promet une inspection de notre demande afin de déterminer si la balançoire peut être remplacée. Mais après des mois de relances et de bataille, toujours aucune réponse ni solution !
Un produit défectueux, un service client inexistant et aucune prise en charge sérieuse.
Ce n'est pas la seule mauvaise expérience car un quad acheté a la même période ne fonctionne plus non plus au bout de 6 mois....
À fuir !!!

I have used them twice recently, online and collecting in store (Swindon) & via a physical visit to the shop. Both transactions were straightforward and pleasant.

The website was easy to use and collection in store was prompt. The store was tidy and had the stock out back for what we needed, staff were friendly and happy to help carry this to the till for us.

No communication when I have had a an electric bumper car almost set my house on fire

Won’t give me a refund or a credit for the store for something else!

Disgusting company

Used to spend lots of money for birthdays and Christmas and now I can’t because they’re awful

Charge for not collecting click and collect but no way to cancel it. Ordered something from Northampton store and then decided to buy more but the extra items I wanted was at Peterborough - so spent more money and ordered everything at Peterborough. Cant cancel the order from Northampton and not driving all the way there to collect and immediately refund. So now I will be charged the £2 non-collection fee despite ordering even more from them from a different store. Not my fault Northampton didnt have everything.

What a disgusting and scandalous decision to make to impose this charge whilst giving absolutely no way to cancel a click and collect order.

So, I went into the bradford store today (22.08.2026) to get a walker for my little boy. Prior to this visit I went into Tesco which is located next to Smyths and purchased feeding spoons for my child. I went into Smyths with these spoons and they also had the same ones but at a more expensive price. Anyways I got what I wanted from the store and went to the tills to pay and the Cashier said at first appeared very pleasant (Ruqayaah) however when she scanned the products she asked me if I had anything else, i told her no i havnt and she asked me again and i told her no, she then asked me about the spoons and I told her I got them from Tesco, she then started to scan them and call a manager believing that I had stole them. I tried to explain to her that although they have the same product I got them from Tesco, and that she is embarrassing me by thinking I'm a thief, there was a queue of people behind me and she outright said ‘you shouldn’t have stole them’ at this point the manager (Wasem) was standing right next to her and did not even stop her from saying these insulting words. The manager then said he is going to look at the CCTV and took the spoons and the product I wanted to purchase from Smyths and refused to serve me. When he watched the CCTV (or so he says he did) he gave me back the spoons and when I said to him can you confirm i didn't steal the spoons he said he could not confirm, yet gave me the spoons back. I also asked him to call the staff member to apologise to me and he said she is crying upstairs and that she is a female and I have to respect her feelings. I told him what about my feelings and the fact that I was an asian man with a beard, and my family who was with me where my wife wears a headscarf and the embarrassment I felt when she accused me of stealing some spoons before walking off and refusing to talk to me. When I asked another staff member for their names and a contact number for HR, he refused to give me a contact number and said if i wanted to complain then go online. I was absolutely shocked at the way this whole incident was handled especially by the store manager who not only made me feel like some thief but also refused to sell me what I wanted. I have my 2 year old and 8 month old child with me and this is how I was treated! Absolutely disgusting. I have raised a complaint but will never be going to any of the Smyths stores. I felt so embarassed and cannot stop thinking about what them people will be thinking of me! If the owner of Smyths is reading this, you need to employ better staff and better management who will not take sides and deal with issues in a fair manner. Just because she was a female does not mean her feelings are valid and mine are not or my wifes or my kids feelings. Absolute disgrace!!

Just a quick review because your employee MK at kirkstall is lovely. He found out what was in the mystery bags for me and gave me advice on the gift cards I bought so they don't run out. Gave me free bubbles with my purchase. He was really sweet and polite.

I've not been for a few years as my children are older now but needed gifts for nephews.
