They replaced Spa music

They replaced Spa music channel with Christian Worship channel. That SUCKS!! Might cancel after this. There are no other channels like Spa. They should add more ambient music and dump the Christian shit.

All of the sudden no spa channel.

All of the sudden no spa channel.. they tell me to use my own equipment to get it back. No. Thats breach of contract. I dont want them on or in my server system. I had to buy the equipment to listen to begin with. Who pays for that?? Deceptive lying cheating overpriced word twisting asshats!!!

Free Options available

After talking with them there was a fraudulent charge on my credit card.

They won't get the new number effectively canceling my contract with them.

There are other options that are available for free!

They try to make you not cancel

Holy mackerel, they make it SO difficult to cancel a subscription! Similar to other reviews, they use these incessant tactics to try and get you to not cancel and will compel you to call or chat with a rep. At least my rep was very friendly, and I am sure forced to go through a script where I literally had to type "Please cancel my plan" four times in response to each of their 'wait but stay' pricing. Then they keep you on the chat waiting for the confirmation number regarding cancellation and hope that you disconnect so that they do not have to complete the cancelation. It was a crazy experience to try and get them to stop the auto renewal and cancel my subscription.

This is not good business SiriusXM, and makes it real easy for your long term customers to never want to do business with you again.

Price triples and you (almost) can't cancel.

Price literally tripled.
Not allowed to cancel online.
45 minutes on hold being told I can do what I want online - over and over.
Representative stalls and stalls and stalls and stalls.
I finally had to scream at him to just cancel the account.
I actually feel more sorry for him (being made to treat me like he did) than me.

Worst service ever!!

Worst service ever!!! Canceled in Octobober for siriusxm gaurdian and they kept charging me until January. Now theyre only giving me a refund for January. Plus they charged me 2x for Dec. Going to the bank tomro to talk to them about this. Would give a negative 100 review if this would let me

Total rip off

Total rip off. Every year they triple the price and you have to endlessly haggle with them. This year they refuse to offer a deal if I will not give them a credit card. They refuse to send a bill and let me pay on line as I have always done. There is no way this company is getting a credit card. It would then be impossible to ever cancel. Horrible company with bad customer service

I tried canceling my subscription and you need a computer to do it and you have to deal with ai trying to sell yiu more plans. Complete disaster. Finally after the tenth time of not being heard that I want it completely canceled it is now canceled. Never again!!!!

Unauthorized charges

I used their service for a trial deal 3 months ago. The deal was $1 for 3 months and then a monthly subscription starting in Jan 1 2026. They charged me a dollar on 10/5/25, but then charged me again on 10/22/25 for $8.97. They charged me again 11/22 & 12/22 for another $8.97 each of those months. I cancelled subscription and called them. They said they do not show on my account they charged me those amounts. They said perhaps I have another account. That is it, no help at all. So I am currently disputing these 3 charges with my credit card.

You have to be diligent with these companies as they are basically crooks. I will never use them again. I used them back when XM was new for years like 20+ back when satellite xm came out circa 1998-99. Life changes so I dipped out of the service for awhile. It’s a different company now and they are not credible!

sirusxm was SO much better when it was…

sirusxm was SO much better when it was sirus (which sucked) and XM Radio (which was awesome). when it became siriusxm it just went downhill. let's forget the fact that they moved almost 100% of the customer service to the phillipines (or some other third world country to pay workers a less than living wage) and concentrate on the idiocy of the customer care-less department.
I called in today to possibly activate the radio on my truck. I had had it in the past but due to poor programming (you pay for commercial free and there's more commercials than regular radio...so why pay?), poor customer service and overall poor performace (I live in Ontario and for some reason it keeps cutting out. nothing wrong with the truck, it's the service). so, I was asking about the $99/yr deal they have. the clown on the p[hone kept pushing (and he weas REALLY pushing) me to go with other, more expensive "deals". now, siriusxm isn't worth the $24.00 they charge currently. I definitely don't want to spend more money. I have zero interest in that pedo howard stern, no interest in sports or talk radio. just music. he pushed and pushed for packages with nothing I was interested in., I kept asking about the $99 package. after about a half hour of dealing with this mental midget, I got fed up and hung up.
siriusxm has some of the worst customer care-less out there. just avoid the hassell. deal with local radio and USB sticks of music you actually like.

Low-Class Company

Only a low-class, ill mannered company would make it so difficult to cancel a subscription. Don't let them get their claws into you! Every single thing about their "cancellation procedure" is designed to drag it out and trip you up while they squeeze a few more bucks out of you. Total scum!

I bought a new vehicle and have no interest in Sirius XM. They send me junk mail every.single.day. They won’t take my name off of the list because their system is always “down”. Then when I complained, he said, “we’ll do what we can to stop the offers from reaching you, but in three years from this date, it will start again”.

What?

Honestly - who still uses Sirius XM? It’s antiquated technology and fact that they still bombard you with actual paper junk mail is evidence of how outdated the company is. Seriously- who is still paying for this? Are there still Stern fans? He was relevant in the 80’s, desperate in the 90’s, repeating the same bits in the 00’s and now? Come on. Let this company just ready in peace already.

Renewal is the Pits

I had a one year subscription at a great price. Carefully diarized the expiration date - which was yesterday, December 15th. When I phoned to ask about options, I was told that unless I renewed (at a much higher cost) then I would have to pay for one extra month (to Jan 15th) as I had not cancelled in time. The new rate was more than 4X what I was paying. The customer service agent tried hard to get me to renew at a greater price - offering better discounts during the conversation and even offering to match another family to the offered reduced rate. When I declined because it was still too expensive and I told them I hardly use my Sirius - I was told that the offer for my family member was no longer valid. And that I was being charged on my credit card at the super high rate till January 15th. I am retired and this stinks. I worked in the auto industry and will do my best to convince people never to sign up.

What terrible service

What terrible service, the SIRIUS XM Guardian App does not work with all of the advertised features. When I called for a refund they gave me a partial refund of my annual subscription. Also called to cancel my Sirius XM subscription, after giving my radio ID, account #, phone, email, and VIN he could not find my account. I hung up and went on-line and found my account instantly, haven't hit the cancel subscription button yet.......

Been with them over 10 years and…

Been with them over 10 years and finally was tired of fighting every year for a decent rate after they jack up at the end of a term. renew rate $25.00/month, teaser rate when you cancel $8.49/month. I'm done with these clowns.

Why Is It So Hard to Cancel a Service You Don’t Want?

I recently noticed that I was still being billed for XM, despite not having access to the service for the past two years. When I went online to cancel my subscription, I was offered a better deal instead. I reiterated that I still wanted to cancel, and was then directed to an automated chat. The automated system wouldn’t cancel the subscription but instead offered me an even more attractive deal.

When I insisted on a refund and cancellation, I was connected to a representative overseas. However, rather than processing my cancellation, the agent presented yet another deal. While it was a good offer, the fact remains that I haven’t been able to access the service for two years, so paying anything further didn’t make sense.

Despite my continued insistence on canceling, the agent repeatedly tried to entice me with better offers. After several rounds of back-and-forth, the agent finally agreed to escalate the issue and promised to cancel my subscription on the renewal date. It’s frustrating that a consumer can’t easily cancel a subscription they no longer want without being bombarded with constant sales pitches.

Sirius mailed me a$3 for 3 years plan…

Sirius mailed me a$3 for 3 years plan and then would not honor it. I cancelled service on that car. I will cancel my second car later this month when it is up for renewal. My third car will also be cancelled.
