They had one job..
So I was offered a free trial with the purchase of a new car. Everything was going great. Then I realized I was paying $30+ a month after the trail ended. I called and they basically said I should have canceled on time. I gave them $160 for 5 months before I realized. I don't remember receiving any info regarding the trial ending either. I tried to get them to extend till the end of the year since I paid way more than my fair share but they refused. My fault sure, so I canceled. Anyway, a couple years later, I had service done at the dealership and was offered the trial again for 3 months at $2. Against my better judgement I decided to repeat the past. Well, they never setup the service correctly although I did it in my car. I rarely drive so it took me a couple weeks to realize it wasn't working. Now a 1/3 through my trail and it didn't work. I called again. I wanted to make sure the trail didn't start the month prior but it never was activated I guess. They reactivated and it worked on that trip only. I called again and they said it was all good but it wasn't. Ten minutes later, I had music. A couple days later, same thing. Jammin the preview channel.. I called again and customer service apologized. They did the right thing and offered me 6months for $2 for the inconvenience. I said awesome and I really appreciated that. Guess what? It stopped working a day later. For some reason I only had the preview channel and channel 64 now. I called again today to find out why this was happening. They attempted to activate again yet had no record of offering me 6months. I eventually said just cancel. I said it several times. I could barely understand him and he wouldnt honor what they already agreed to. This is not how you do business. The operator kept pushing the same 3 months for $2 like he didn't hear me. I said it at least 5 times. It was pissing me off at this point. Long story.. not short but they wasted an hour+ of my time and they straight up lied. I also made it a point to have an email confirmation that proves I canceled but have yet to receive it. Now I'm wasting more of my time voluntarily to write this review. The music quality is great, I'll give them that, but its not worth the hassle and financial surprises. It's really irks me because I worked in hospitality and customer service for 20 years. I trained employees on how to handle certain situations and always tried to make the customer feel important. I wven wrote all SOPs for email responses and general day to day responses to common problems. With that said, these people have zero humanity skills and really don't seem to care about customer concerns. I will never recommend this company, EVER. You'd think Liberty, Vanguard, and Blackstone would have the most experience in these matters and would have amazing customer service skills since they own everything but no. So annoyed. Hopefully this deters some of you from giving them your money. No more Pandora either.. I recommend getting a Spotify account if you plan on paying for an audio streaming service ✌️

Absolutely terrible experience with SiriusXM.
This is probably the only platform in 2026 where you cannot cancel your subscription online - you are forced to call them. It’s unbelievably outdated and feels intentional. You have to reach them during specific hours, wait on hold, and if you’re busy (like most people), you forget - and they keep charging you.
The content itself is nothing special. If you actually pay attention, they repeat the same material over and over. They push cheap subscription offers, but when you compare it to modern streaming platforms, there is absolutely nothing unique or worth paying for.
Customer service is even worse. If you’re calling from Canada, expect to waste at least 30 minutes just explaining that you’re not in the U.S. It honestly feels like they are doing everything possible to keep you stuck instead of helping you.
The overall experience is frustrating, time-wasting, and completely outdated.
Terrible service, terrible attitude, and zero respect for customers’ time.
I would strongly recommend avoiding this service and choosing a platform that actually lets you manage your account like a normal person.

SiriusXM feels like a bad business now!
I have siriusXM in one vehicle, and wanted to add it to the new car. I should have the free trial, but it doesn't work if your charge card is not on file, so you can be billed. As a convenience of course. Then I can't get music without agreeing to the future $25.00 per month future fee. Which is ridiculous. Of course, I will use my options at that time. Only auto payments. Bad business practices.
NEVER lose your account number
I subscribed again after i purchased a car because the into rate is great, at the 1 year mark there is apparanlty no way to access your account for anything but definitely not to cancel. Website is dreadful, customer service must be paid on sales and there are too many options out there for them to be this difficult or this expensive.
I have 3 cars with Sirius XM radio and can't cancel/delete my account
I have 3 cars with Sirius XM radios in them 2 are less than 6 months old. I tried to log into my account for each car and was unable to. I spent over an hour circling through the process. I then decided to cancel the 2 new cars radios. The service representative was in India named Harmony, was not very knowledgable, was unable to find my accounts(3), obviously wasn't able to consolidate the 3 accounts to 1. I was online with the rep for over an hour to accomplish zero. The final result was to talk they'd call me with resolution (Sure I really believe that). Honda had dropped SiriusXM from the vehicles for a number of years. I wish they would go back and all other car manufacturers would do the same so SiriusXM wouldn't get all your information on purchase and then you are stuck will their barrage of mail and email ! Sirius is an unscrupulous, nasty and unreliable company that shouldn't be trusted with anyones data ! Hopefully, they will go out of business and we 'll be done with them.

They don’t give refunds I was told I was getting the best deal by paying a year in advance $76.77 but then my daughter got a monthly plant plan for $4.25 when you multiply that by 12 I’m paying more I feel cheated and scammed and I will never use them again once my subscription is over. I hope they go bankrupt.

I was paying around $ 11 a month and was told I would not have to renew the following year. The following year my subscription was increased to over $28 a month without notice. I called and the offered 2 subscriptions close to the $ 11 a month but would only refund the difference for 1 month. Over 9 hours with multiple both bot and human agents by chat, email and phone to get them to honor the full terms of their offer to subscribe at a discount after a trial following new car purchase. Unbelievable and inexcusable BAIT& SWITCH tactics requiring multiple repetition of their own words in the written offer. Not worth the effort, even though I ultimately prevailed. Set it up to auto-cancel after the trial period. Do NOT give them permission to keep your CC on file for future charges!

THEE MOST ANNOYiNG company to deal with!!!! Their "promotions" are like SCAMS, always overcharging your account then you have to speak with some annoying person, confirm your like history (for security purposes LMAO) all just to renew a radio signal. And this is never ending year after year. I kept asking the woman I spoke with today if she was a "machine" because that's how they talk to you.

Absolutely horrible. Been a subscriber since 2018 and each year when I go to renew, the website gives numerous "technical difficulties" and then when you try to reach out to customer service, you get a run-a-round and a bunch of garbage. Be prepared to waste at least 1 hour of your day trying to get something as simple as linking your radio to your account or making changes to your account. Add on top of that, the headache of trying to negotiate a better price and you will be left wanting to kill yourself. I highly doubt I will renew once this year's one year subscription is up.
Terrible!
Terrible! Trying to listen to MSNOW is impossible because of the high tinny sound when people talk, almost like added metal scraping noise. Much worse than just interference which tends to be constant. This is only when someone is talking. Of course the company has never heard of this complaint, I'm the only one so it's difficult to solve. Just searched the problem and it's a widespread well known problem due the the company squeezing the band width to save money. LIARS!
Cancelling account was a nightmare and now am NEVER RETURNING!
I wanted to cancel my account and spent over 30 minutes through an online BOT and then 2 people (possibly BOTS) by their continued lack of interest in responding to my request to cancel. The responses continued to post promotion items when I was very clear that all I wanted to do was cancel. originally I likely would have returned to Sirius as I like programming - now after this experience - NEVER RETURNING AS A CUSTOMER!!!!

Service is garbage. Impossible to cancel . And even after cancelling they keep calling with shitty offers for their shitty satellite radio.
Worst service ever
Worst service ever, I had transferred both subcribtions for my 2 new cars and my wife did not want to bother me with it but i found out it was never activated in her car, been paying for 2 months... Had similar troubles with 2-3 other vehicles, now I waited on the line for more than 30 minutes and agreed to the option of them calling me back when available. They called back 10 minutes after and I was still waiting for another half hour with no one picking up the line. Tried the online bot which tell me to go in the car and wait for a signal refresh and when I came back, the chat was off and the bot gone... Signal refresh did not work now i'm writing this review hoping that fewer people get ripped off by that lame company, I will send a registered letter to end my 2 accounts, no one would answer the phone anyways... Bunch of crooks.

Terrible customer service. These people should not be trusted with your personal information. There support team repeats to me after i provide them with my information. Then I submit the information and they repeat to me again please give me all your details. I had them repeat the same thing 3 times.Like theres no need to put me through the ringers like that they even said there looking at the previous chats but there still wasting my resources. repeating this phrase essentially : give me all your information or your going to be paying charges. its like someone just decided that because i want to cancel there free trial subsription they can act like a bunch of robo cops. They play games with my information telling me to moderate myself here give me information here and there like for crying out loud its a online radio platform, not the doctors office you people should be change your system to allow better privacy and to allow people to cancel online without having to chat with you outrageous support crew.
Impossible to access your own account
I’ve rarely had an experience this frustrating with a paid service.
I signed up for a SiriusXM subscription at a promotional rate (about $5/month). Everything seemed fine at first, until I tried to actually log in and use the service.
That’s where things completely broke down.
First issue: I was never given my full account number. The confirmation email only shows the last four digits, which makes it difficult to verify or manage the account. I contacted support multiple times and no one could provide it.
Second issue: login access. SiriusXM can find my account when I enter my email and username, but I still can’t actually log in. It turns into a circular process:

Click “Listen Now”
Get redirected to a page trying to sell me a subscription I already have (and for 3x what I'm currently paying!)
I canceled my service out of frustration, then re-subscribed thinking it would reset things and fix the issue. It didn’t. Same problems all over again.
At this point, I’m paying for a service I cannot properly access or manage.
This isn’t just a minor glitch. It feels like basic account access is unnecessarily difficult, whether by design or by poor system integration. Either way, it’s unacceptable for a subscription service.
I will be filing a complaint with my State Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division. If others are having similar experiences, I would encourage you to do the same. Companies shouldn’t be allowed to bill customers while making it this hard to access or control their own accounts.
Very disappointing experience overall.
