Great experience buying new car
Great experience with buying our new car from Alex at Sandown Newbury. Alex was helpful and patient as we were between the Omoda 5 and the Chery Tigga 4. We took both cars out for a test drive and decided upon the Omoda 5, only due to boot space.
The car arrived on time and was ready to collect the date we requested.
The car is excellent. I travel to Southampton for work and have got 58.7mph, am really pleased as my old car was 2 years old and I was getting this mileage. I didn't expect to get a good mph for a while.
Only downside really is app is not ready for the hybrid but have been assured it is in process.
Everyone at Sandown Newbury are really friendly and helpful.
We are really pleased with the car.

An Excellent Experience, not Forgetting the "Unveiling Ceremony".
The Sales Staff were extremely helpful and in particular my thanks to Elaine Fountain who executed the purchase process of my new GLC 300 Mercedes Benz faultlessly. Matthew was an excellent salesman throughout the process. He had previously supported us in buying a used car and on this occasion was also very good in helping us to buy a new car. I bought my car last Thursday
I bought my car last Thursday, and after driving just a few miles, it broke down. Now it’s going to be in the repair shop for 10 days, and I have to rent a car to get my things sorted out.

The car was not ready for sale when advertised…
The car was offered for sale before there had been any vetting of its condition or the remedial works required ascertained as a direct consequence a collection date was arranged and confirmed when the car was not actually in a proper condition for sale. As a result the original collection date was cancelled at 5.30pm the night before it was due to take place. When my existing vehicle had been sold and transferred that day. An offer to deliver the car was made but could not be undertaken for a further week leaving me without a vehicle for that time. I tried to confirm the delivery the day before it was due to take place and despite calling the sales department over 10 times I could not get anyone to answer the phone. I eventually called your head office and finally got someone to talk to me and persuade a sales manager to contact me. Then on the day of delivery I found out that the drivers departure was delayed because the car had to have an MOT, surely this should have been undertaken before the day of delivery, what would have happened if it had failed ? Another aborted delivery date no doubt. This really is not the level of service that I would expect from a Premier Mercedes Dealer. Your operational systems require serious revision if your published standards are going to be met.
The only service that I received that was excellent was from your salesman Rory Hathaway he kept in informed throughout the process and did everything he could to put matters right but unfortunately he did not receive the support he required from the rest of your staff.

Pushed to complete sell
I was disappointed with the way I was being pushed to complete the deal before the end of the month .not a nice experience at all .but this was by management not the salesman.
