Used car purchase experience
When i ordered the cars for test drive - despite the AI agent (Alex) confirmed the cars, they were not there when I showed up the designated time. Then I confirmed the car purchase, placed the deposit, but I have to chase the agent to confirm timing of delivery. The sales agent delivered the car to my place which is beyond his duty (per his point of view), but I found the scratches were not all done which MB promised me to do when I placed the deposits

Unfortunately I had to deal with multiple salespeople which made the experience difficult. I now realise a lot of options had never been raised with me before purchase.

Shocking service
I have had my car booked in for its MOT for over a month now. I received a call at 5pm today saying that my MOT was cancelled for tomorrow as they don’t have a license from DVLA. I am now frantically trying to find someone who can do it for me. I’m really appalled that they would book me in knowing they didn’t have the required paperwork, and I now have only a week before my MOT expires. And even worse, they called to cancel in less than 24hrs. I will now take my business elsewhere… for good.

Cannot go wrong with this team!
I honestly cannot fault Ashley and Jason for the care and support they gave me throughout the whole process.
I went in on the off chance to look at a potential car, and Jason was brilliant from the start. There was absolutely no hard sell, and he was incredibly honest and genuine. He patiently answered all of my questions and concerns, and the communication, both in person and via email, was outstanding.
When Ashley took over, he was equally excellent. Honest, professional and approachable, he made me feel completely at ease throughout the process.
The customer service from the whole team at Sandown Basingstoke has been outstanding. They have great knowledge of the cars, are friendly, approachable and, most importantly, transparent. I’ve already been recommending the team to friends — especially as they all love my J7!
I know it might sound like a small thing, but both Ashley and Jason remembered my name whenever I turned up unannounced with yet another question. That really stood out to me. It’s the little things like that which show just how much they genuinely care about their customers.
I’ve had the best experience and feel that I’ve made a completely informed decision in choosing the J7.

My approved used Mercedes from Mercedes Benz of Basingstoke
The approved used Mercedes I chose to test drive needed some remedial work to be completed before I agreed to purchase it. Rory Hathaway provided great customer service by agreeing to carry out the work in a timely manner.
Rory handled the sale very well, giving me a good price for my vehicle I was part exchanging.
Rory was not pushy in selling me the Mercedes or additional insurance items.
I was very grateful for the fresh MOT, mats, new number plates and full tank of fuel.
Rory made sure we were aware of the controls and software etc. before we drove the car away.

Great experience from first contact to purchase
Greg has been super helpful throughout the year long purchase process from test driving the car at launch to waiting for the shooting brake to become available. I love my new Jaecco 7 Hybrid Plug in
I love my new Jaecco 7 Hybrid Plug in! The test drive was easy to book and the staff was welcoming and answered all my questions. However, it was a busy period for Sandown and there was a very long wait for my car to be ready on collection and had to wait almost 2 hours 1/2. It would have been valuable to have been informed before I collect my car that the 3-plug charger and the mats were not included with the car purchase as I would have purchased them beforehand. I am still waiting for the goodies promised with the car test drive (one month on) and the price I won when I purchased the car. I do not think I should have to follow-up on this....
