My car was booked in for service on the 23/1/2026 at 8.30am for a showroom wait. I had no intention of waiting in a showroom for two hours. So the plan was to drop our car off then go shopping. When I arrived at RRG their was limited parking space, parked my Mercedes in a position that it didn’t block anybody and walk out to find a space for my wife to leave the Aygo X, then I could walk into the service area to leave keys. I was met by a young lady whom was very helpful and fetched the service staff it to take the keys for the car. I asked to see your sales staff (Henry the guy I bought the car from 24/12/2025 who took a while to come out) . At this moment int time my wife waited I the car which was not blocking anybody. The a young man came up to me and said “is that your Mercedes outside” I said “yes I won’t be a minute I’m just waiting for Henry “ he said “it blocking the way” I said it’s not blocking anybody, and I’ve seen three cars go through and one went at spend! “ I the said “ he should’n’t be driving so fast around millions of pounds of cars “ my thoughts was will they be driving MY car that fast.
I ask the member of staff his name and told him my name. His name is Jordan !
I was still waiting to speak to Henry and found that I was there longer than expected. I did have another conversation wait your young lady and commented above lacking of Parking for customers she joke “that they needed a multi story car park” I said “ no you need a better management for parking “
Henry finally arrived and I had a conversation with him which wasn’t very positive and not relevant to previous observations.
I left the site as I had no intention of sitting in the showroom for two hour.
I arrived back at the showroom around 11.00 am to collect the car after service, to dismay that the price had gone up from what I was quoted and to my horror you’ve charged me nearly £9 for screen wash, when I’d washed/filled up the screen wash up the day before and not been used on the way to you premises.
I asked for the charge to be taken off and was told that you couldn’t take it off, but I insisted your staff went away and came back with a container of screen wash. I said that “ I don’t want want anymore screen wash fluid as I’ve bought a larger container the your for £2.80 in Wednesday “ and I even joke that I could iwoul pay B&Q price of £4.50. These prices are both cheaper that you prices.
So if you ask me about my experience at Toyota today I would say poor wit a capital P

Kris (Kristijan) called initially to enquire about a Kodiaq and spoke to Kris who gave a great description of the vehicle. On visiting the Dealership and viewing the vehicle it was as exactly as described. I must say that there was no high pressure sales tactics given and we were given every opportunity to come to a decision on our own.
Kris was both very knowledgeable and professional throughout the buying experience and I would recommend this dealership to anyone thinking of purchasing a Škoda. Very pleased with my purchase and don’t doubt that it will not be my last. Thank you.

From the moment we entered the RRG Skoda Bolton branch we were treated to a friendly, professional service and did not feel pressured. It was a relaxed environment where you felt free to look around the vehicles on display and ask for assistance when required without someone hovering over you.

Time to change our car, no preference.
Having called on three main other car dealers in Bolton with uninterested sales people { T /K & P not wanting to name them }. Called into RRG-Bolton , what a complete different experience Kris approached us within five minutes, discussed our preferences . Showed us options, with no pressure . We called back the following day introduced to Lukas whom took over our selection and handled the sale to completion. To say we was pleased is an understatement , and would whole heartedly recommend them .

All round professional, stress free car purchase
First of all this is the second time I have bought a car from skoda bolton. I had the pleasure of dealing with kris who was nothing more than professional and absolutely went out of his way to find me exactly what I was looking for. From the minute I walked in to driving away with the car was an absolute stress free experience with kris making sure I didnt leave with any questions. At one point he even offered to pick me up to collect my car, talk about above and beyond. Honestly, kris was just the best and when I was there, his attention was all directed at me which i feel is a rarity these days. Even after the sale, I had the pleasure of meeting fran who was very polite and made sure I knew if I had any questions even after the sale and I had the car I only had to pick up the phone which shows the level of car and attention that goes into every sale from the whole team.
All in all I cannot praise skoda bolton enough and highly recommend a place to go to purchase your next car.

Superb Purchase Process
We recently had the pleasure of purchasing a vehicle from RRG Skoda in Bolton. From the initial telephone call into the dealership to the purchase process and handover, the experience was very professional, simple and stress free.
We dealt with Lisa Garner-Cooper throughout the process, Lisa was very approachable and personable. As we were travelling from distance we were not able to view the car beforehand, Lisa was consistently available for numerous telephone calls, always responding positively and patiently. We were also provided with a personalised video of the vehicle, enabling us to make a confident purchase.
The purchase process, including the trade in of our old car, was simple, with every step clearly explained. We did not feel as though we were just buying a car, RRG and Lisa made it into an experience, and we were grateful that Lisa came in our her day off to ensure that she was available when we were.
We have rated our experience at the highest grade as we truly feel that the dealership and indeed Lisa deserve it.

Extortionate Prices!
As part of a £2482.22 repair job RRG Charged me £1,657 inc VAT for a part which I could have bought ( New & certified OEM) from an independent spares company for £699 inc VAT. The sales price of the part as a % of the cost is inflated by 237%!
(+ Labour £687 + VAT)
RRG prices are not expensive, ~ they are extortionate!

I recently bought a car from the Rochdale Skoda branch. Lewis looked after me and was very friendly and knowledgeable. I just turned up on the day to look at a car and he offered me a test drive. I bought the car and collected it a week later. After finding a cosmetic problem I went back and he booked my car in to get the problem sorted. All the staff seem really nice and helpful. Thank you Lewis and all the team at Skoda Rochdale.

No aftersales support
7 months since reporting issues with my car, not fixed and still no prospect of it being fixed.
UPDATE: I've just had a response to this review, telling me I should contact a branch to discuss this. I have had a faulty car for months and have spent hours on the phone, Emailing and driving to and from RRG. They still haven't fixed it. I'm waiting for someone to get back to me to tell me what (if anything) they plan to do next! Terrible company- do not give them your money!

Took my car in again for the breaks to be fixed. I asked for a hire car they said yes but when I turned up they said they were only looking at my breaks not fixing the fault and I would have to have the hire car back for 17:30 the same day when I said I couldn't make that time I was told they were cancelling the booking.
Been here 2 times to get my break fixed but look like they only like selling the cars not fixing faults.
Also done a really poor job of touching up a chip in the paint work I'm positive it would have looked better if they had just used tipX

I bought a used car from RRG a couple of months ago reviews are not my thing but I had been looking for a certain BMW for a few months been to four or five BMW main dealers cars where not as they where described when got there so I started looking outside BMW dealerships a saw one at RRG Skoda Bolton Mark the salesman described the car exactly as it was and I bought the car quick and easy transaction really how buying a car should be the car has been great 5 star experience Peter Wilson Castleford

If you are considering buying a Kia EVI expect real answers, not empty apologies. I expect action. And I expect Kia to take responsibility for selling unsafe, unreliable vehicles.
If you are considering buying a Kia EV, PLEASE read this before you make the same mistake I did.
My experience is not “a small issue” — it is a safety hazard, a complete failure of Kia’s EV reliability, and a shocking display of incompetence from RRG Kia Bury My Car Became Dangerous on 7 August — Suddenly Entered “Turtle Mode” and Could Have Stalled Anywhere
On 7 August, my Kia e-Niro 3 suddenly triggered the turtle warning light, with severe power loss. This issue means the car can shut down randomly at any time.Imagine driving on a motorway and your EV suddenly dies. This is life-threatening. I immediately contacted Kia dealers. The earliest diagnostic appointment?
ONE MONTH LATER — 5 September.
Absolutely unacceptable for a safety-critical fault.
FIRST DIAGNOSIS (5 Sept): They Found NOTHING — Misdiagnosed the Problem — Wasted My Time
When the car finally went in: .They claimed it was the 12V battery,
• Even though we had already replaced the 12V battery ourselves,
• And had explained in detail that the issue clearly wasn’t caused by it.
Later when I went to collect the car, they casually told me:➡ Actually it’s NOT the 12V battery — but we still can’t find the issue. Their “solution”? Just keep driving it and wait for it to fail again.
I waited a month for THAT.
Next day, 6 September, the turtle light came back immediately.
SECOND DIAGNOSIS: They Finally Found Error Codes in the Main Battery — But Still Made Me Wait
When I brought it back again, the turtle light was still on and they finally saw two fault codes pointing to a faulty cell/shelf in the high-voltage battery.
This is a MAJOR EV fault. Yet they still told me the earliest they could look at it properly was 18 September. I refused to drive the car because it is dangerous, but they didn’t care.
They Attempted Random Repairs — Replacing Wires — Claiming “Road Test Passed” — ALL FAILED
They replaced an orange wire.
Then another wire. Then claimed everything was “road tested and good to go.”
On 17 Sept, they said I could collect the car.
I drove it home. By 6 PM on the SAME DAY, the turtle light came back again and the car died.
I immediately emailed a formal complaint.
THIRD, FOURTH, FIFTH… the Cycle Repeats — They STILL Can’t Fix It From mid-September to the end of September, the pattern was:
• I take the car back
• They say they found something
• They replace a wire or clear codes
• They “road test 300 miles”
• They say everything is fine
• I collect it
• The next day the car fails again
Every. Single. Time. This happened on 26 Sept, 27 Sept, 30 Sept and repeatedly afterwards.
They NEVER fixed the root cause.
FINALLY they admit the main battery is faulty — but now the battery is “on order for months”
In the last week of September, after the car completely died again, they finally admitted:
The high-voltage battery needs to be replaced.
But:
• They didn’t know how long it would take.
• They didn’t tell me anything for weeks.
• I had to call THEM multiple times.
Eventually they told me the battery “should arrive on 14 November.”
On 14 Nov, I called:
➡ “Battery still not here.”
➡ “System still shows 14th but nothing arrived.”
Today is 17 November.
Still no battery.
This afternoon, my husband went to the dealership to collect personal items from the car.
The General Manager then casually told him:
➡ Battery is now delayed ANOTHER MONTH — maybe mid-December.
➡ His OWN Kia EV also needed a new battery after only two years.
So Kia knows their EV batteries are failing.
But the customers have to suffer for months.🚗 Loan Car? They NEVER offered it until the very end.
My car has been unusable since AUGUST.
They NEVER proactively offered a courtesy car.
Only after the battery diagnosis (two months later!) did someone tell me I could “ask the front desk.”
Unbelievable.
Meanwhile I have been paying:
• Insurance
• Transportation costs
• Time wasted
• Endless trips to the dealership
All because Kia can’t diagnose or repair their own EV. Summary: My Kia e-Niro Has Been Broken for Over 3 Months — Kia Cannot Fix It — And the Battery Is Delayed for MONTHS
This entire situation is disgraceful, unsafe, and unacceptable.
Kia EVs clearly have serious reliability issues.
RRG Kia Bury’s diagnostics and communication are shockingly poor.
My car: Has been dangerous to drive
• Dies randomly
• Has a confirmed high-voltage battery fault
• Has been in and out of the garage repeatedly .Still cannot be driven since AUGUST
• And the replacement battery will take 3–4 months at best
This is beyond a negative review.

STAY WELL AWAY!
Dropped my car off to toyota silsden as it was making a humming noise. They diagnosed it as a wheel bearing. Called me back in the next day to say wheel bearing has been fitted and car is perfect now with no unwanted noises. I booked an uber to go pick it up travelling 16 miles because i was told the car has been fixed and doesn't make any noises now. I went to collect keys and drove off, immediately I could still hear the noise. So i went back and informed them. Then me and another technician went on a road test. He then put the car on the ramp inside the garage whilst i waited and came back to me & said it is a bearing in the gearbox not a wheel bearing. So again i left the car with them and booked an uber back home.. And by monday i received a call by the manager at the rrg silsden branch he said there is no noises at all and theres nothing wrong with the car and it has all been sorted. Again i booked an uber to go there to pick it up and drove off the noise was still there. I went on a road test with the manager and he was adamant that he did not hear the noise eventually he said it is the other side wheel bearing and replaced it after another week. Once again i booked an uber home. I received a call once the other side wheel bearing has been replaced and was told to pick it up. Again the noise was still there the manager came on a road test again and said the noise is nothing to worry about just carry on driving the car. At the end of it all i wasted £100 in uber fares and my car was still making a noise. I will Stay well away from toyota silsden branch

Great Customer Service Kia Bury
Great Customer Service for a lease car via Kia for my wife. From initial enquiry looking at the updated 26 model Kia Sportage full hybrid to handover some 5 weeks later all good. Phil was initial contact who quickly provided a quote for Contract Hire over 36 months. Although somewhat dearer than my broker who was somewhat cheaper over the term I decided to go ahead given the added value of dealing with paperwork and handover at their dealership. I was not disappointed being kept up to date with delivery times. On handover I was greeted by Chris for the paperwork and passed over to Scarlet for full information on the car which included a local test drive and visit to their service department. Overall some 2hours which was great to highlight a dealership that prides itself on customer service throughout to ensure you felt happy with the new car. I will certainly recommend . Well done and great thanks to the RRG team at Bury .
