Fantastic group of People
I could not have asked for a better experience than the one that I got at RRG Rochdale, especially considering the speed bumps along the way; not the garage's fault I hasten to add.
Natalia was a dream to deal with, she is an excellent, knowledgeable saleswoman who will go above and beyond. And Adam put in a shift helping me get the finance sorted when the Experian Affordability Passport decided not to play ball.
Knowing that I had a 6 hour round trip (it was a particular car I wanted) they did everything to ensure there was not a wasted minute.

Wentinto ŠKODA Rochdale with a view to…
Went into ŠKODA Rochdale with a view to looking around. We weren’t sure what car we wanted . Paula was fantastic, very knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable. We then went to MG who didn’t even let us across the door as he said they had nothing suitable. Onto VW Chadderton who kept us waiting and couldn’t be bothered to serve us . ŠKODA won hands down and we are now very happy with our car

Great dealership
I had been feeling apprehensive about changing my car but the friendly and welcoming atmosphere at ŠKODA Rochdale put me at ease.
Gordon was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
The test drive route he chose gave me the opportunity to drive at various speeds on different types of roads.
I didn’t want to wait for a factory order and I knew finding a Fabia 1.5 SE L DSG with the winter pack in graphite would be difficult.
That same afternoon a car was found in Hampshire, a price was agreed and arrangements were made to transport it to the dealership. I really appreciate all the effort put into finding me the right car quickly.
My car was ready for collection a week later and hand over was very straightforward with no pressure to add the various extra cover options.
Gordon explained all the controls and Infotainment system clearly and patiently.
My new car feels safe, robust and very easy to drive.
I am glad I chose this dealership and feel reassured that I can get help/advice at any time.

Dealer sells damaged vehicles
Just a heads-up to always run your own history reports. I recently looked into a vehicle here and found some discrepancies regarding its accident history that weren't clear during my initial inquiry. It’s always safer to have your own HPI or CarFax in hand regardless of where you’re buying from as you think with a main dealer you are usually safe but this isn't the case with this dealership

Really handled our enquiry made from N.Ireland excellently. So often first impressions set the tone for doing a deal with good trustworthy people and that was certainly the case with Skoda Bolton.
From the off Lukas was very helpful, knowledgeable and where I felt anyone selling in our circumstance’s would need a little back up he was already seeking this out from his seniors. That said, Lukas independently was outstanding with his attention, responses and assurances throughout the enquiry and pre sale arrangements.
I will have no hesitation contacting Skoda Bolton again when I’ve a car change planned and I’ve already recommended RRG Skoda Bolton to a couple of friends. Thank you Lukas and well done to your management for investing in you and their training and support.

I had an amazing experience with Danny at Skoda Rochdale. He was fantastic from start to finish - called in the morning he got me in for a test drive that afternoon and got me a brand new car ordered same day with collection that weekend! Fantastic service and super friendly, made the whole process smooth and exciting which is so important when getting a new car! Just what we wanted it to be
Have to be clear that this is a review of RRG Skoda Bolton, can’t speak for other dealerships in the group. We’ve just bought a new Skoda Elroq from them and the process from beginning to end was as we would have wanted it to be. Truth is we didn’t expect to get a new one, but the deal offered was just too good to turn down.
We dealt with Phil Jones throughout, and nothing was too much for him, even the after sales service, answering numerous questions about the IT aspects of the car. I’m confident that the level of service will be maintained.

Very disappointing experience at Toyota…
Very disappointing experience at Toyota RRG Altrincham during my recent visit.
I had booked a pre-paid Gold Service (100,000 miles), which was the final service under my plan. From the moment I arrived, the experience was poor. The staff member who was meant to assist me was eating his lunch at his desk in full view of customers. After finishing, he loudly wiped his mouth and blew his nose before approaching me, which I found extremely unprofessional and unpleasant as a first impression.
During the check-in process, I agreed to additional coolant and air conditioning services, which cost £236.98, as I had already planned to have these done. I was then repeatedly pressured to renew my service plan at a significantly higher price than the previous year, with fewer miles included. When I declined, I was told prices would go up — a sales tactic I am very familiar with and did not appreciate.
I waited two hours for the Gold Service, coolant service, and air conditioning service combined. I had also requested that my car not be valeted to save time. Given the amount of work supposedly carried out, I find it hard to believe everything was completed properly within that timeframe.
When I received my vehicle back, there was no detailed service report, only a single sheet, and I later discovered that the Annual Toyota Hybrid Health Check had not been carried out at all, despite being an essential part of the service.
Upon starting my car, I noticed immediately that the air conditioning was not blowing cold air. After reporting this, I was told by the mechanic that there may not have been enough coolant added and was asked to return on another day to fix the issue.
When I returned on my scheduled appointment, I was then told the repair would take all day, which was shocking considering the original service, including the same air conditioning and coolant work, had supposedly taken only two hours. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told both the manager and assistant manager were on holiday.
I had no choice but to leave my car, take an Uber home, and wait. I was informed in the afternoon that the car was ready, but I was unable to collect it until the following Monday.
As a loyal customer who has had all servicing done at RRG, I felt completely disregarded. There was a clear lack of professionalism, transparency, and care throughout the entire experience.
This was my final service under the plan, and unfortunately, it will also be my final visit to Toyota RRG Altrincham. I would not recommend this dealership based on my experience

Terrible Customer Service
Made contact with RRG Toyota Bury and was advised that the car I was interested in was available for sale. Namely a Toyota Yaris Cross (Premier Edition)
Thereafter I received a video of said vehicle at 0943hrs on 30/01/2026 and replied asking if delivery of the vehicle was a possible at 1117hrs same date.
Unbelievably I received an email reply at 1246hrs from the sales dept advising that the vehicle in question had been sold.
Absolutely terrible customer service.

My experience with RRG Skoda Bolton has been positive from the start. First called in just to have a look round and compare prices with other retailers and was met by Lukas with a warm welcome, no pressure. A few days later I had a test drive, loved the Kamiq, still no pressure. Once I'd made my decision the purchase was straight forward (price compared really well with other retailers) and I'm very happy with my new car. Thank you 😊

I travelled a significant distance to…
I travelled a significant distance to view a used vehicle being offered for sale by RRG Group.
Prior to my visit, no information was disclosed about any diagnostic fault history or adverse mechanical condition.
I arranged and paid for an independent pre-purchase inspection, which recorded:
• diagnostic fault codes present
• a high clutch engagement point
• a burning smell from the clutch area
An independent diagnostic scan also confirmed the presence of fault codes at the time of inspection.
None of this information had been disclosed to me prior to viewing.
I therefore declined to proceed with the purchase and raised a formal complaint regarding material non-disclosure.
RRG Group (through their legal representatives) denied any disclosure obligation, refused transparency regarding inspection and diagnostic records and closed the complaint process.
As a result, I have escalated the matter to The Motor Ombudsman and Trading Standards.
Based on my experience, I would advise other consumers to obtain an independent inspection and diagnostic scan before relying on any representations made.
Update 9/2/25
For clarity, my complaint was not resolved. While correspondence was issued stating a “decision”, the substantive issues I raised regarding and the handling of my complaint were not meaningfully addressed.
As a result, the matter has been escalated to the Motor Ombudsman for independent review.
My review reflects my experience of the process and the lack of engagement with the concerns raised, rather than dissatisfaction with a decision itself.

My car was booked in for service on the…
My car was booked in for service on the 23/1/2026 at 8.30am for a showroom wait. I had no intention of waiting in a showroom for two hours. So the plan was to drop our car off then go shopping. When I arrived at RRG their was limited parking space, parked my Mercedes in a position that it didn’t block anybody and walk out to find a space for my wife to leave the Aygo X, then I could walk into the service area to leave keys. I was met by a young lady whom was very helpful and fetched the service staff it to take the keys for the car. I asked to see your sales staff (Henry the guy I bought the car from 24/12/2025 who took a while to come out) . At this moment int time my wife waited I the car which was not blocking anybody. The a young man came up to me and said “is that your Mercedes outside” I said “yes I won’t be a minute I’m just waiting for Henry “ he said “it blocking the way” I said it’s not blocking anybody, and I’ve seen three cars go through and one went at spend! “ I the said “ he should’n’t be driving so fast around millions of pounds of cars “ my thoughts was will they be driving MY car that fast.
I ask the member of staff his name and told him my name. His name is Jordan !
I was still waiting to speak to Henry and found that I was there longer than expected. I did have another conversation wait your young lady and commented above lacking of Parking for customers she joke “that they needed a multi story car park” I said “ no you need a better management for parking “
Henry finally arrived and I had a conversation with him which wasn’t very positive and not relevant to previous observations.
I left the site as I had no intention of sitting in the showroom for two hour.
I arrived back at the showroom around 11.00 am to collect the car after service, to dismay that the price had gone up from what I was quoted and to my horror you’ve charged me nearly £9 for screen wash, when I’d washed/filled up the screen wash up the day before and not been used on the way to you premises.
I asked for the charge to be taken off and was told that you couldn’t take it off, but I insisted your staff went away and came back with a container of screen wash. I said that “ I don’t want want anymore screen wash fluid as I’ve bought a larger container the your for £2.80 in Wednesday “ and I even joke that I could iwoul pay B&Q price of £4.50. These prices are both cheaper that you prices.
So if you ask me about my experience at Toyota today I would say poor wit a capital P
