Gutted I didn't see reviews biggest con merchants also not happy compare the market even advertises this company lucky enough I've cancelled before 14 days or have I as funny they would put the phone down when I said I was cancelling defo stay away

Back in October I made a claim for some repairs to my vehicle I sent pictures of the damage then was told I’d get a reply in getting the work done… here goes 4 months later after weeks and weeks of phone calls emails been past around to other insurance companies who they didn’t even have any details.. they even say ‘your breaking up I. Can’t here you. Absolutely the worst company I have ever had to deal with …. SCAMMERS DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SHOWER OF S##T!!!!!

Don`t believe the fake 5* reviews on this site. Go to other review sites and see the real ones!!!!!
They do the same or similar scam on most clients!
They offer a reasonable insurance price and after you sing up and pay it they will come back with a fake claim history and trying to charge you for an extra £170 or threatening to cancel the policy!
So I was well in my 14 days cooling off period (within even 7 days) and I said I will just cancel the policy. I`m not paying for something that a total lie.
Well!
This company has NO COOLING OF PERIOD AND STILL CHARGED ME OVER £180 for the 7 days insurance and the other made up fees!!!!!!
AN ABSOULUTE SHAMELESS SCAM!!!!!

Just got invoice for worng date on log book because pay monthly want extra £31 a month Absolutely disgusting insurance company cost of living going up I'm going cancel my direct debit with the £181 to cancel going take up with Trading standards Absolute joke wish never went with this insurance company worst thing ever done PEOPLE please stay away from them they will add Hidden charges would not ever give them 1 star. They shut this one down they made up a new one because of the bad reviews

Do not use this company.
Booked car insurance for my elderly parents (late 70's) but they failed to inform me that my father's license had expired. Within 12 hours of booking I called to amend the insurance to remove him as a named driver as it was several days before the policy was due to start. They wanted £156 to remove him. I ended up just cancelling which still cost me £60 as they don't have a cooling period. When I told the girl on the phone that it was ridiculous, her response was "that's what you get when you book with online companies".

Be warned !!!!! Take out policy but don't come crying when it goes stitch up !!!!! BECAUSE IT WILL ........ RUDE, INCOMPETENT And useless god help u if you speak to reception! You won't get a wall thicker

I moved address the new quote they gave was nearly double the original quote and when I said I wanted to cancel they charged me over £200 in charges. I’d never use them again

Please stay away from this company . This company is nightmare , They will ripping you off , bad service , rude customer service , they will ripping you off by making stupid excuses

I made a typo with my DOB. They charged me £183 to amend it!! I checked with other companies it would not make any difference in my typo error. I asked them to cancel my car insurance they said to charge me £190!!!

What is unbelievable it is within cooling off period. They are scammers and unprofessional people, extremely rude. They will ripe you off cold dirty blooded scums!!!!

Please do not make a mistake and take insurance or any business with them.

I wish I had read reviews this Company is dreadful for over a week I have been trying to send documentation that they have requested Customer Portal does not let you upload they do not respond to emails or their call back service this is the worst Company I have encountered in 40 years of driving. Managed to get through today after 25 minute wait gave details etc AND THEN WAS CUT OFF!!!
DO NOT ENTER INTO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

Please never buy policy from this company. this company always tries to take more money from customers. Customer service is zero even they just cut the phone line .. attitude problem and and they have no managers available for help.

Honestly I have had a lot of messages about renewing my policy etc. However tried to call 4 tines without any success. Suspiciously when you follow automated service to cancel yoir policy it kicks you off the call.
Left messages emails no response.

My new insurance is 150 pounds less than their renewal quote as well. No loyalty any more

AVIOD THIS SCAM OF A COMPANY !
My Wife paid for a policy in full for her new car, however she mistakenly put the start of cover was 01-08-2022 instead of 26-07-2022.
She phoned as soon as she realised the mistake within 30 minutes of paying for the Policy. She was told she had to pay another £70 before they could change the date ?
The guy on the phone was extremely rude and said that's how it is. Therefore her only option was to pay it.
She asked to speak to a manger, however they were all unavailable.
This was all a week before she needed to pick up her new car, so surely it could've been sorted out ?
I mean 30 mins after paying in full come on RCIB this is terrible customer service,
I just can't believe you're getting away with it.
My wife then asked about cancelling the policy before it even starts, and as you've probably guessed, yet another Fee £60 this is now 45 minutes after paying in full for the year and it's not even come into force ??
What happened to the 14 day cooling off period ??
In the end she paid the money and canceled the policy and they had the cheek to say it will be 30 day's until she'll receive her refund ??
Total fraudsters, this company wants you to cancel or make change's this Is how they make their money.
Anyone thinking it's cheaper or they have Fake 5 Star reviews.

Please don't fall for this scam, they have been reported to the Ombudsman.
She has since took out Insurance with Tesco Car Insurance and made changes without any issue's whatsoever and without any penalty or demands for more money.
I honestly hope this review at least stops one person from getting robbed.

Started taking money out of my bank account even tho I've never had any dealings with them. Judging by the other reviews here it doesn't look likely I'll get through to them

I give you some advice stay away from these people I paid £ 660 for car insurance I canceled after a month and they gave me back £ 370 they are robbers stay away

AVOID! STAY AWAY LIKE THE PLAGUE! 96 on the queue, everyday you call you are 90 something on the queue. One rude chap will call you back after few days. Their portal is a complete joke and you can tell the person that calls you is the person who the ceo of the company and also the creator of the portal, the portal don't work by the way. They will try to make your life difficult as much as possible. Remember this name RCIB and STAY AWAY as far as possible. If you want a easy life with you car insurance policy then STAY AWAY from the one man joke of a company!

I have insured my cars for over 40 years without any difficulties have maximum NCB and never made a claim. Unfortunately I used RCIB for this years renewal. I paid the premium to RCIB in full a couple of weeks before the start of the cover. A few days before the start date I received a text message asking me to telephone them which I did. I was 61st in the queue and the wait time 118 minutes. I could not wait nearly two hours. I tried again later and was told I was 54th and the wait time was 100 minutes. I waited and was connected to a representative in 99 minutes. The person I spoke to informed me that they would be cancelling my insurance unless I paid an additional premium of almost 50% in addition to what I had already paid. If I did not pay this extra I would be changed £60 as the cancellation fee. He was the most rude, arrogant and unhelpful person I can remember have the misfortune to deal with. I asked if I could speak to his line manager and was told maybe, maybe not. After enduring the conversation for some minutes I said I would no longer talk or listen to him. I immediately filled in a request for a call back on the web site, and two days later I received a call for the same person who denied all knowledge despite confirming his name. I have filled in two more request for a call back over the past week and had no response.

I never normally leave reviews for any companies but felt completed to in this instance. Save yourself trouble and money by looking elsewhere.

I am retired, so not young and I have to prioritise pointless activities restricting them to those I enjoy. Trying to contact you by phone is not one of them. I did request a callback but then got a message telling me you had tried to contact me, so I am giving you the same notification that I have called you many times over many days so please ring me back. The thought that I could be dealing with you following an accident is terrifying!!

Please cancel the policy listed below and send my proof of my no claims discount and refund any premium paid which should be all of it as the policy hasn't started yet.

Took money from my account without my concent for months after my policy was cancelled! Will not pay the money back so now have to go through my bank for fraud
