I have been so worried that I didn’t know how to get proof of my no claims bonus, let alone download it on my phone, that I put off doing anything about it. When I finally plucked up the courage I rang the phone number on the latest email sent by your company. I was so lucky to find Cheryl (Austin) on the line , as not all customer service employees understand how difficult it is for us older people to use technology properly, and in the past I have been made to feel stupid and useless. How delightful then, when Cheryl was kind and helpful and did not judge me. She put me at my ease, listened to my worries and asked me , asked, not told me, if I was able to reply to an email if she sent me one. Now that I can do, feeling better already. She asked me to send the name of my previous insurer in my reply and she would sort out getting the proof of no claims for me. You can’t imagine the relief I felt. You should be very proud of her as representing your company. It is this kind of behaviour that makes someone like me choose which company I want in the future. Thank you for making my day Cheryl x

Our complaint against Call Assist, an RCIB company was upheld.
The employee sent by Call Assist on 30th March to our breakdown instructed us we could drive safely 90 miles home from Bristol with a long, bent nail/screw in our tyre. The employee did not want to do any work on our tyre in terms of a repair. He said "I would be happy to drive to Scotland with that screw in your tyre" and advised us to continue our journey. We felt confident and safe with his advice.
We could have been killed as we then had to stop several times on a busy hard shoulder of a motorway in the pitch black dark as our tyre continually lost pressure. I was in fear for my life.
RCIB upheld our complaint against them but have never given us an apology to this date. We were offered £20 for this life harrowing experience after 7 weeks.
Obviously finding this amount insulting, we questioned it. RCIB have put us into another complaint cycle which means you don't get an answer for a further 8 weeks. So we would be looking at 16 weeks from the incident date (30/03/26) to even hope for any possible satisfactory conclusion to this absolute night of hell and trauma we suffered at their hands.
Absolutely disgusted with this company. Admitting an unsafe practice was bad enough, but £20 was a worse insult than nothing at all and all of the fobbing off since has made it worse.

I read all of the negative comments AFTER I purchased my car insurance for my Tesla through Gocompare. My existing insurer wanted to increase my monthly premium from £78 to £193 for the Tesla (2 years NCB - was on the insurance of my wife's car). The premium with these guys was £84 a month and the process was seamless!

Ace V was very helpful, polite and explained all the insurance rules for upgrading a provisional driver to a fully licensed driver. It's an expensive process but she made it a lot easier by breaking down the payment into 6 payments for us.
