I've been a member for several years. Suddenly my account was deactivated. The email and every way of contacting them was shut down. I had over $70 dollars in my account. Without access to my account, I have no way of getting my money. Don't waste your time signing with them. If you are already with them, it's a matter of time before they get you too. Don't let your money build up...cash out as you earn it. They let you make the money then they take it. Don't trust Karen Scott or Pinecone Reasearch. They are scammers and con artists.

I have been a member for several years and all of a sudden my account was deactivated. They will give no reason why this has happened and said they are not reactivating or taking on any new members. Like others have said, because of this you will lose time and not see your accrued points (that equate to money) but they will still have your data.

Please seek other, more reliable companies to give your time to.

Been a Pinecone Research member in perfect standing for many years. Suddenly, they won't allow me to redeem points for 9 surveys.. Message keeps telling me, I'm not a member. Then repeated attempts to contact them result in failures. They won't even accept my messages on their contact page or by email. Seeing others speaking of similar issues. DON'T allow your points to add up! Cash out every single $3 that you earn. They WILL turn on you despite your years of sincere & thoughtful efforts on their surveys. I'll never get the $27 that I earned. Beware.

Great payouts on surveys

yes, i think i must agree...they are definitely going downhill...and they treat people like dung...but, at least they DO pay. a little. you can opt for a 3.00 amazon card now...when i was with them you had to go with that god-awful "prepaiddigitalsolutions" nonsense...they got p/o because i insisted on doing somthing different with my "rewards", rather than deal with THAT nightmare...

I have had this month for I want to say 5-6 months. It was a nice app at first, I got $40 in less then 2 months and the surveys would come like once or twice a week. Now I have not been able to do a survey for the past two months because I don't qualify for them anymore which stinks because I enjoyed this. I think after 2 months of constant rejection I am just going to delete my account.

It's rare that I receive an invite to complete a survey, but it's worth being a member of the site as the reward for completing a survey is better than other sites. Perhaps the best thing is not having a payment threshold to (struggle to) reach - once the reward has been credited, I can immediately cash out. If only there were more survey opportunities, it would be perfect!

I enjoy using Pinecone and I never know what survey subject I'm going to get next. The payout is really good (normally around £3 per survey) but I don't get many of them, perhaps 1 per month if I'm lucky. It isn't always open to new members. There are a range of options when it comes to payout, including PayPal. The surveys always load properly and I have never had a problem. Would recommend ... if you can get in!

Pinecone Research is a legitimate survey panel that is only open to new members periodically.

The minimum payout threshold is low, and PayPal is an option. The only reason I do not give a five star rating is because survey invites only come once a week, paying three USD per survey.

They have excellent support services, surveys load properly, and I have never had an issue with being credited or paid in 7 months as a panel member.

More opportunities please Pinecone!

i love pinecone, there is no collecting lots of points an average 300 points per survey and that = £3

I have been taking surveys for Pinecone for several months. I have enjoyed taking surveys for them and appreciate them and thank them very much for the opportunity. There surveys may not be every day, but they pay good when you get them and every dollar is great now days. I plan to continue helping Pinecone when I get the opportunity and I thank and appreciate there goodness and honesty to me. Thank you Pinecone

For what it is, it is about as reliable as other survey groups out there. Definitely used to make more before they made changes and got to try more products. The good...you get paid quickly and have many payment options. The bad...not too many surveys offered anymore.

I have been a member of Pinecone for ten years now and never had a problem. I never get kicked off a survey and payment is always very fast (usually by the next day). I would like them to send more surveys through though as usually its only 1 a month.

Absolutely avoid this place. Based on my experience, I can only surmise that Pinecone Research exist merely to harvest personal data, and then sell or otherwise pass this data on to third parties.
I completed a lengthy joining application survey, which included giving various personal information to them including names and dates of birth of all of my family members and those living at my house, salary and employment information etc. I begrudgingly provided this information in good faith in order to sign up (not really interested in their surveys, I was signing up as I was given an incentive on another Site), but after a sufficient period of time has elapsed, this disgraceful organisation has not confirmed my account (so I do not get the incentive I was promised), yet they do have all the sensitive information I provided to them including that detailed above and more. And it took ages to sign up and complete the survey as it was so long winded.

Just a dated hack .

PCR & I go back quite a way. There was a time when I enjoyed getting survey invites, & even the occasional product to review, from this once reputable consumer research group. That was then. Since the early 2000s they've morphed into a lumbering oaf of contempt & complacency. There are no personnel at this firm who give a crap. The only person who may begrudgingly reply is the co.'s Jill of all trades, Karen Scott, the woman who refused to reactivate my dormant accnt this past spring. Karen, your disdainful attitude can not sit well with me or myriad others. If you want evidence of this, have a look at your firm's mediocre user-satisfaction scores.)

Started off well a few years ago and they paid out decent amounts for surveys and goods tests at home,toothpaste,chocolate,disinfectant sprays and the like.However after three years membership and accruing several points they cancelled my membership without telling me and I lost my points. I queried the sudden unexplained annulment with them and their brief reply was that I no longer fitted their demographic and that was it.Be very aware of joining them and claim your rewards as soon as possible if you do.I won't use them again and I've told them so.

Avoid like the plague. As others have said, they used to be really good but now you can't communicate with them, e-mails are ignored or a standard template reply is sent out. There's no address or phone number for them. They owe me for completed surveys. I would share the opinion of others that this company is now just a scam
