Scam artists. Sent my phone in pristine condition and returned saying it was worthless because of damage to the body. Do not rely on these guys for your trade in.... You simply won't get anything even for the phone in the best condition. Leaves a real bad taste to the end of my pixel buying experience... Won't be buying directly from Google again.

Sent phone in phone on a Thursday. They registered device on Monday. Cashback sent on Thursday for full amount of £336 for a £20 Samsung J3 2017. Was a bit nervous reading reviews on here but happy with end result

Für mein 7 jahre altes Huawei y7 2018 wurden mir (inklusive Aktion) 181€ versprochen. Diese wurden mir auch innerhalb 3 Tage bearbeitung gutgeschrieben. Einziges Manko: Die Fedex Abholung ist eine katastrophe, es hat 3 Anläufe gebraucht bis das Paket abgeholt worden ist, aber so kennt man das ja von Fedex.

Pixel 7 pro traded in. Full value received (with pixel 9 pro XL bonus trade in value). Quick process. Quick payment (refunded to payment card).
I think, the assesment can show up faults that aren't obvious to the owner. I was lucky. And my phone was not perfect, the casing was very scratched. No screen protector etc.

Hatte vorher negative Bewertungen gelesen und hatte Angst, dass ich den vereinbarten Betrag nicht erstattet bekomme im Rahmen des Kaufs meines Pixel 9. Jedoch hat alles wie angekündigt geklappt. Normalerweise schreibt man ja nur Bewertungen, wenn etwas nicht klappt.

Rubbish company. Better not deal with them. I traded-in a very well kept Samsung S21 Ultra 512gb with no aesthetic damages other than a minor scratch on the charging port. Everything is in working order but after their inspection they decided to comment "Damaged body" and that my device was not eligible and that it's trade-in value was 0. You'll just waste your time trying to sort this out. Stay away.

Thought I best counter some of the bad experiences listed here. I just traded my phone in after buying a pixel 9. No issues at all, all super smooth and full value refund paid out immediately! A* very happy.

This is an absolute scam! My Pixel 7 Pro was in perfect working order when I sent it in. It's clear that PCS Wireless is using deceptive tactics to undervalue trade-ins and save money for Google. I'm deeply disappointed with this experience and urge potential Pixel upgraders to be cautious about the trade-in program. It seems like a convenient way to offset the cost of a new phone, but it can turn into a frustrating and costly ordeal.

I recently attempted to trade in my Google Pixel 8 Pro through PCS Wireless Systems to upgrade to the latest Pixel model. Initially, I was attracted to the convenience of receiving an immediate discount, despite the potential for higher earnings by selling the phone independently.

Unfortunately, my experience with PCS Wireless was marred by significant frustration and disappointment. Due to my ongoing visa processing, my residence card and related documents are currently with the consulate. I provided alternative documentation, including an email from the immigration office confirming my visa status, as proof of identity.

After two days of continuous discussions with a PCS Wireless support representative, I was informed that my documents were deemed invalid. This was incredibly frustrating, as these documents are legitimate and essential for my residency in the country. It is baffling how these could be considered inauthentic when they are recognized by official governmental bodies.

The support I received was unhelpful and dismissive, leading to an exasperating experience. It seemed as though the automated systems at PCS Wireless were more efficient and reliable than the human support staff. This ordeal has left me questioning the competence and customer service standards of PCS Wireless.

In conclusion, my interaction with PCS Wireless was unnecessarily complicated and frustrating. I hope they can improve their processes and support to better serve their customers in the future.

You've read it before here but from someone else.
P20pro, perfect condition, accused of screen burn what an utter bunch of Cobblers, even left the phone case and protector on to show how well it was looked after,. Value at the time went from £200 to zero as valueless, I got them to send it back, I'm not even sure if the same phone was sent back. Google store as much use as a chocolate fireguard, £30 as goodwill doesn't get me out of this expensive pixel fone
Always tempted to try again and put it down to a bad experience but along with the rest of the planet I won't trade in anything of value to me again

Traded in a Pixel 6 Pro via Google's website.
Quoted £240 value which was over double offered elsewhere. As others have stated, this is a scam. The phone will always be returned with unfounded damage. I asked Google to review this and they asked for a video of the device working. I clicked through several pages and played videos on my fully functional device with no damage. Google agreed with the third party and are unprepared to support customers. Stay away from this shady trade in scheme. If you're reading this I imagine you've been caught out after the event like myself. Good luck getting anywhere with these cowboys.

These people 'work' for Google and run their trade-in process. A perfectly Pixel 6 Pro, provided with photo evidence of it in being in fine working order, met the terms of the exchange but they've said it has 'Major LCD damage' and returned a broken phone.

Google are useless and won't do anything. If you're being offered a trade-in with Google with these charlatans, please AVOID.

Lies. Picked my phone model off Google's drop-down menu. Offered £69. Company sent it back as an unknown model. Google and this company are lying to you. Would not have chosen a Pixel if I had known this

ich habe mir am 09.07.24 im Rahmen einer Aktion im Google Store, dass Pixel 8 Pro bestellt.

Letzte Woche Freitag, am 12.07.24 wurde mein altes Handy von FedEx abgeholt.
Diese Woche Dienstag, am 16.07 ist es bei PCS Wireless eingetroffen, wurde geprüft und heute, am 18.07.24 habe ich eine E-Mail erhalten, dass mein Gerät geprüft wurde und 200€ vom Kaufpreis abgezogen worden sind. Klasse 😀👍.

Zustand vom Altgerät:

Der Rahmen war durch Staub im Case zerkratzt, so, dass teilweise schon die Schwarze Farbe vom Rahmen abgeschuppert worden ist.

Display war voll intakt durch Panzerglasfolie.
Rückseite hatte schon ordentlich Abdrücke vom Case, die man auch nicht mehr entfernen konnte, ansonsten waren noch diverse Kratzer auf der Rückseite (Staub im Case).

Meine Erfahrungen sind diesbezüglich äußerst positiv, obwohl ich erst durch lesen anderer Erfahrungen negativ gestimmt war.

Sent a perfect condition pixel 6 pro through Google store for trade in. Initial report said turns on, factory reset no cracks. Few days later reported major LCD damage and worth £0.00, also an unrecognised model! I wouldn't have gone for the new pixel phone without the trade in. This is a classic scam. What us the best route to complain? This seems very common.

Ich habe das Trade-In-Programm von Google genutzt, um mein altes Handy gegen ein Pixel 8a in Zahlung zu geben. Obwohl in tadellosem Zustand, hat PCS Wireless es zurückgeschickt, mit der falschen und fadenscheinigen Aussage, es sei nicht auf Werkszustand zurückgesetzt, was nicht der Tatsache entspricht. Es wundert mich, dass Google mit einer solchen Firma zusammenarbeitet.

Very disappointed with Google for using PCS as a partner for trade in.

I sent a 6 month old, barely used Pixel 7a and they reported it as "unknown device" 🤣 with a value of £0.
Complaint was worthless as they, and Google, aren't bothered.
The lack of any response from PCS to these reviews speaks volumes.

I purchased a new Google pixel 8a and traded in my Pixel 4a. The transaction only took approx 2weeks, and was very easy. Money back in our account.

Got a new Pixel 8a with the May 2024 promo on offering £150 "enhanced" trade-in. Submitted a Samsung S9, and if I selected "turns on, no cracks, screen works properly" I'd be offered £208. If I selected "turns on" I would get £190.
PCS Wireless received the phone, and claim they don't know what model it is... they also says the phone has cracks and burn in. So, they gave a value of £0. Should be all fine, but when trading-in the website clearly stated that it only needed to turn on to be offered £190.
I won't fight the additional £18, but official complain now with Google Store to get the £190.
Unbelievable poor service.
