Traded in a phone with them via the Google store enhanced trade in deal. The site estimated £153. The new phone arrived from Google on a Saturday, and the trade in packaging arrived on the Tuesday. Sent it back same day, delivered to PCS on Wednesday, booked for testing on Thursday, and then an email stating the phone matched the condition and full payment of £153 on Friday.

Highly efficient, paid what Google store advertised, and overall very happy with the process. My only improvement I'd suggest would be to send the trade in packaging/label with the new device!

Ho deciso di pubblicare la recensione perché spesso si recensisce solo per le cattive esperienze.

Ho deciso di lasciare questa recensione perché dopo aver effettuato il Trade in di Google per acquistare un Pixel 9a e aver letto tutte le recensioni su trustpilot pensavo di essere stato fregato. Invece devo dire che la procedura è andata a buon fine senza intoppi e problemi e ho ricevuto la cifra inizialmente preventivata di 211 euro per il mio Samsung A52s 5g. Certo il mio telefono era in perfette condizioni, senza aver mai subito riparazioni di nessun tipo, unica pecca diversi graffi nella parte posteriore a causa di un adesivo a calamita che avevo incollato. Spero che questa recensione serva a tranquillizzare alcuni utenti Naturalmente, nel dubbio, prima di spedire fate foto e video al vostro dispositivo.

Don't fall into the scam of trade-in. Sent my pixel 6a after factory reset it and they claimed it's not factory reset and rejected the trade-in. Apparently to just make me pay the full amount

I ordered a phone from the google store with a trade in offer, the offer would give me £283 for my old Google Pixel 6 against a new Pixel 9a. I took out finance to buy the phone at the full price as it stated the trade in would be applied to the original payment method and hence would reduce my repayment amount.

I sent off the phone to googles trade in provider, pcs, they received the phone on the 16th of April. The day after they told me the phone was being returned as the phone was a pixel 6a (not a pixel 6) and the phone was broken and so not as described.

I contacted google support and they told me there were notes stating a pixel 6 was received. However when i received the phone back, it was indeed a pixel 6a that did have a broken screen - this was not the phone that i sent them.

My pixel 6 had been repaired by google previously and was on my google account, so they know that i owned this phone. I have never owned a pixel 6a.

I contacted them again and was asked for information regarding the phone. They then told me to wait for a response.

When i finally received a response from google they told me that they have received a response from PCS and that they received a pixel 6a from me and it was processed as described.

This is completely untrue and im at a loss of what to do. I have a broken, worse phone than the one i sent and im stuck paying the full price from my phone. I appealed with google and was given the same response, saying they would not be changing their decision.

I'm appalled by the customer service, why would I send the incorrect phone, It was obviously going to be checked over.

PCS have either mixed up the phones or they have stolen mine and sent me a broken one. Its completely unacceptable.

To top it off, i told google i wanted to return the new phone then, they originally stated they would be able to extend the return deadline but how now gone back on that as well.

Its such a shame that this has happened as now i no longer feel that i can trust the company at all.

Come successo ad altri, preso per la mia compagna il pixel 9a con permuta di un pixel 6a perfetto... Mi è stato mandato indietro perché stando a loro non ho fatto il ripristino dei dati di fabbrica, tra l'altro senza fornire alcuna foto o documento che mi faccia realmente vedere che ho commesso quello sbaglio se così fosse.
Quando sono certo di aver fatto ripristina impostazioni di fabbrica.
Di solito siamo noi italiani ad avere la "skill" di truffatori, evidentemente il detto è proprio vero tutto il mondo è paese.

My experience with PCS Wireless was highly unsatisfactory. Despite submitting two devices for trade-in under separate orders, the second device was processed three days before the first. Subsequently, they claimed the first device was not reset and reduced the trade-in value by 25%, even though both devices were reset using the same method and confirmed to be unlinked from my Google account. This discrepancy is perplexing, and based on this experience and other reviews, I strongly advise caution when considering PCS Wireless for trade-in services.

Having read the trade in reviews I was concerned I would end up disappointed. They offered me £345 for a pixel 7 which I sent off. I had an email today confirming exactly what they estimated will be paid into my account.

Ich habe gerade die Rücksendung meines Telefons erhalten, die von dieser Firma nicht angenommen wurde, und war überrascht, dass das Mobiltelefon nur bei mir ankam. Das gesamte Zubehör, das ich in der Originalverpackung geschickt hatte, war verschwunden. Sie hatten mir nur ein Telefon geschickt und den Rest behalten. Ich weiß nicht, ob sie dafür verantwortlich sind oder versuchen, aus ihrer Verbindung zu Google und anderen Marken auf dem Markt einen Vorteil zu ziehen.

Google offered £400 over trade in value for my iPhone 15 Pro Max. Great deal so I went for it. Surprise surprise PCS wireless found damage to the body of the phone. There was no such damage but the value of the phone was reduced to exactly the same amount as the return value - to the penny. The phone was kept in a case throughout my ownership and with a screen protector in place. It looked brand new when I sent it back but I am down £240 and nobody seems to be able to explain why, or give evidence of the condition.

I traded in my pixel 6 pro through google. The phone was near immaculate as was a recent refurbished purchase. The valuation came back claiming the screen had major damage which was not true. Google take no ownership of PCS. No evidence of the damage could be provided.

The terms of the trade in is that if the valuation is within 75% you have to accept it. Funnily enough my inspection put the phone at about 80% of the quoted value.

Trade-In rip-off
I took advantage of Google's trade-in deal to replace my Pixel 6 Pro with a new Pixel 9 Pro.
The initial offer of £333.00 was reduced to £265.00 after they had inspected the phone. They said that the offer was reduced because of screen damage. This is an utter lie, the screen was in mint condition and I had carefully cleaned any dust or marks off it. Everything else in the phone was in mint condition too. The phone was always in its case and rarely even left the house.
They went ahead with the refund of their revised amount without even waiting for me to agree to it, or to talk to anyone. Not at all happy.

Scam surely? Purchased a new phone via the Google store and was promised £272 to trade in on my old phone. I actually had a brand new genuine Google service pack screen installed before I sent it away (new screen cost me £150). Anyways I received a message back saying:

Complete lies. I've finally received my phone back today and guess what, the screen is still new and immaculate. Lesson learnt.. Don't trust this company or buy a phone from Google with the promise of a trade in. I do feel like I've been scammed. Can I reach anyone to complain? No!

Anche io sono stato truffato, ho inviato il mio pixel7 plus immacolato e portato ai dati di fabbrica, il telefono è stato rifiutato perché non rispettava i loro standard, intanto io ho acquistato a prezzo pieno il pixel 9 e loro sono arrivati al loro scopo, chi ha intenzione di fare una permuta sappia che vedendo le recensioni è come giocare alla roulette Russa e molto probabilmente si perde come nel mio caso, ma la cosa non finirà qui perché ho intenzione di denunciare!!

Ich habe im google Store ein Pixel 9 pro gekauft und dabei das Trade In Programm genutzt. Google gibt ja öfter mal großzügig 100 Euro extra auf den Trade-In-Wert. Das Trade-In-Kit kam zügig an. Darin enthalten war eine Verpackung für das Handy (Zubehör musste nicht eingeschickt werden) und eine Anleitung für das Zurücksetzen des Handys, die aber irgendwie durcheinander war. Naja, auf Werkseinstellungen zurücksetzen ist auch kein Hexenwerk. Ich habe für mein Pixel 6 Pro 282 Euro angeboten bekommen. Der Versand lief über DHL Express und war einigermaßen langsam. Die Bearbeitung bei PCS Wireless hingegen ging echt schnell und einen Tag später hatte ich die Zusage, dass die vollen 282€ gezahlt werden. Innerhalb von 2 Tagen hatte ich die Erstattung. Als ich die Bewertungen gelesen habe wurde mir Angst und Bange, aber bei mir lief alles glatt. Zum Zustand des Handys: Es wurde vorab lediglich gefragt, ob sich das Telefon einschalten lässt, das Display keine Risse hat und alle Teile ordnungsgemäß funktionieren. Relativ wenig. Mein Handy hatte ein absolut makelloses Display (immer mit Folie verwendet), das Gehäuse war allerdings mit kleineren Kratzern versehen, da ich beim Renovieren wohl mal Staub in die Hülle bekommen habe. Danach wurde nicht gefragt und das war offenbar auch kein Problem. Von daher bin ich rundum zufrieden.

Traded in a excellent condition pixel 3a via the Google pixel 9 promotion l. Claim rejected stating that phone had not been factory reset. Not the case at all. Phone in perfect working order no passwords or marks on it. Google have been useless in sorting issues out stating they will credit my account £40 instead of the £258 I was expecting.

After reading all the reviews I was very apprehensive about trading in my pixel 7 pro against a pixel 9 pro however I received the full enhanced valuation £404. My phone was over 2 years old but had always been in a case and had a screen protector. I did check the screen for dead pixels and screen burn. Despite not thinking it is necessary I removed all my accounts from the phone before doing a factory reset, including selecting the delete esim option. I received the refund 2 days after posting my handset using the pre-paid tracked 24 royalmail trade-in pack. Maybe I got lucky but I felt compelled to write a positive review as had it gone t*ts up I would have definitely written a negative review.

When l trade in my pixel phone they said the screen was cracked, what wasn't true. They will try to scam you. Better if you sell your phone to any other companies which are dealing with buying phones. I reported the issue to Google but l can see no steps were taken to change to a more reliable company. Do not send your phone to PC Wireless

Like many others have said. State issue with a perfectly good phone and send it back. Not sure what the angle is here. But i guess they get paid regardless. Very frustrating.

I traded in an old Pixel 4a 5g with a cracked screen, was offered £51 trade in value. Good communication throughout and the full value was credited within three days of being received.
