I went into the arndal branch yesterday and I was really disappointed with the level of customer service I received.

I went into the store and Waited for about 20 minutes to get served. It was Halloween so I was expecting it to be busy but I did not expect members of staff chatting amongst themselves and rearranging the racks rather than serving the queue of customers.

When I eventually got seen to I asked for the usual hair extensions I get every 3 months. The girl struggled to find it and asked for the help of another young girl. She then proceeded to roughly brush my hair which yanked out my own extensions and then blamed me for not telling her. If I had known she was going to
Touch my hair I clearly would have said!

Both of the girls then made me feel completely uncomfortable by huffing and puffing and discussing the other members of staff in a negative light. I honestly felt like I was ruining their day by being there!

Then they decided to half two packs (not had to do that in the past and my hair colour is the same) and then they took me to the till and it was more than double the amount I usually spend. I know the cost of the usual extensions and was shocked that at no point did the staff inform me it would be more expensive, which leads me to believe they picked more expensive hair on purpose.

It was possibly the worst shopping experience I have had with Paul's hair world and under no circumstances will I visit the branch again. In the past I have told my friends to visit Paul's hair world but I will not do this in the future.

Sad to see the poor reviews as I've only ever had great service with these guys. I've used them for the last 18months or more, as my financial circumstances had changed and I could no longer afford high end full hair wigs. The wigs that I purchased from Pauls Hair World have been excellent. If there was a problem with the stock levels I'd be informed immediately so I could make an informed decision. If a refund was required it was organised immediately. I have found them more dependable and reliable that more expensive companies working in the same field. I have nothing but good things to say and will continue to use them. In fact I'm just about to view some hair care products on their website.

I am disgusted and upset at the disgraceful state of the supposedly 'human hair extensions' I bought from PHW Liverpool. I bought their own brand of hair approx £90 per pack, straight, caramel & brown colours mixed.

After 2 weeks it turned into a hideous mess of matted knots! I hadn't done anything to do it and I've been having hair extensions for over 15 years.
Then after desperate attempts to tame it with oils, conditioner etc NOTHING worked. This is NOT HUMAN hair and resembles and feels like dolls hair!!

I regret to say this is not the first time it has happened, same experience 6 years ago when buying Premium Now curly hair. I thought stupidly they might of got their act together but they are even worse!

Do NOT buy from here.

Girl in the store was helpful and friendly. Always go there for my hair. Been ripped off in the past by other shops. Prices the same as online stores. You can trust them.

I went in yesterday to get a colour match that the woman REFUSED to give me because I HAD NOT PAID for extensions may I also add that I hadn't even seen a set of extensions to see what the hair was like but she wanted me to put £200 down on the table for something I haven't even seen my hair is a hard colour to get which is why I wanted a colour match when I posted on there Facebook wall about the lack of customer service and the cheek the staff gave me and when I asked why she would not give me a colour match the rest of the staff came out to give my self and my friend horrible looks and sniggering in there group I put it on Facebook like I said and believe it or not my review was deleted and the manager did get back to me and pretty much called me a liar we her staff told her I was getting my hair dyed but I was pretty happy it's my hair colour all i wanted was extensions which I was let down by and she didn't seem interested to keep me as a loyal customer which I think is a disgrace! Don't use Paul's hair world unless your looking for a mouth full of cheek and w let down I was a regular who spends a fortune on hair but I will never be returning after the cheeky I got u yesterday and the let down as nothing has still not been resolved but I have took this further to head office and I have posted on ALL social media to let the people I told to go there not to bother anymore as they apparently don't do colour match until you pay for hair but then late to find out the reason they are doing this is they are charging extra and pocketing some money for themselves hope they get caught out cause that's stealing company policy is a joke but I will let head office deal with this and if it's not resolved I will also take it further as the amount of cap codes they are breaking are a disgrace!! Good luck to their next victim

Disgraceful hair literally mattes knots and falls off the track! The only person that can deal with complaints only works on a Saturday, I explained me too so what now? The reply was take the day off, nice bit of customer service there, well I managed a longer lunch and waited 20 mins whilst they lured another victim into a tragic head of weave, to be told it will take 3 months frm start to finish for the outcome! It's management are appalling! I'd bought the hair and explained i was going away and wanted the 'la weave' service they provide, I was booked in and shes booking me in the girl shouts literally shouts over to another staff member I've just booked in my final training customer! Feeling like I was in a scene from the show ' people like us' I asked I'm paying full price for somebody who doesn't know what there doing! The dumb look she have said it all so I refused to pay the deposit and told her why! It's such shock how bad they are and there still in business unfortunately the young society still mastering clip ins keep this place going but for those that want hair to last longer then a night this is not the place to go!! Stick to what you know reviews are key!!

Okay so.....for ten years I have worn clip in hair extensions tried many different brands but always stick to the sleek style icon normally last me about 6 months as I wear them every day and like them looking new all the time ( my friends have there's for well over a year) decided this time to purchase the sleek remy couture....the best in the range! Bought two packets costing me about £380. I ordered online and was due to arrive in a few days...never turned up had to call them for them to tell me they was out of stock! Anyway that's not the problem the problem is the sheer discrace of the extensions they have sent me!!! Look amazing when they arrived or even when they are freshly washed however after half a hour of clipping them in they are just a matted mess! Doesn't matter what I do to them they are just a tangled matted mess! This is coming from someone who has worn hair extensions for TEN years! Every day!!! I have the best extension brushes I know how to care for them very well! I have the most expensive hair extension products you can buy. However every time I wear them they are a clumped up and I am left feeling upset and self conscious! Girls DO NOT waste your hard earned money! I actually live abroad and visited Manchester last week so thought I would pop back in the shop to buy some more hair (the sleeky style icon) when the woman showed me the hair out the packet I was really shocked! Very thin and not the usual Gorgeous hair I have had from style icon. I literally couldn't believe it! Seemed to me like different hair in a style icon packet! So girls go shop somewere else, don't be upset and disappointed like I am :-(

honestly very very disappointed! These people have no idea what they are doing! Having received her birthday money my 16 year old daughter thought she would spend it all on hair extensions, she visited Paul's hair world unsupervised! Yeah I know I messed up big time! But who would have known they would sell her hair that was THE COMPLETE WRONG COLOUR! In fact she would have to dye her own hair to get these to match! I have contacted pauls hair world and asked for a refund - no refund! And very very rude! Not interested! So nasty on the phone ended up hanging up on them! What a bunch of absolute nasty people! Let's hope the get some customer service training and learn how to match extensions correctly! And if they don't have the right colour -tell the customer the truth instead of selling them complete rubbish which they can't even ever wear! £150 down the drain! Thanks Paul hope you have a great Birthday when it's your turn! BE WARNED!!!!!

Do not buy your hair extensions here, I did because I was desperate and am regretting it now! Feel so annoyed with myself - hence this review to warn others, never ever again! sticking to Rapunzel's in Smithdown - the best place ever!

Girls beware of using this company! Bad service. Absolutely useless, I ordered some expensive hair offline, paid £5 postage and was told it would take 3-5 working days and it is only coming from Manchester! Anyway besides the point I waited around for the first 3 days for it to arrive with no luck, waited till the 4th day baring in mind I desperately needed it for the weekend. I emailed them to check my order was okay and I didn't get a response! So i decided to ring them to check, the girl seemed lapsy daisy on the phone kept putting me on hold and then came back on the line stating her colleague had been trying to contact me previously to say it was out of stock? Huge suprise to me as I had heard nothing at all from them bare faced lying, so she said the refund would take upto 5 days to hit my account! Absolutely ridiculous service from this place! How can you order something online that says instock but really it is not? This company are so quick to take your money but cannot deliver a proper service! Will not be using them again!

Client of Pauls for over 6 years clip in real hair extensions are getting thinner I normally buy 3 pieces had to purchase 4 yesterday and had hair done today and 4 isn't enough feel ripped off.il go Nottingham to a shop there he gives u one big piece that goes right around ears and 2 thick pieces for £25!! Reason had to go Paul's its local to me.feel totally ripped off and hair doesn't look right !!! £53 lighter in my purse for p## poor clip ins..

It's aggravating me that I even have to put a star for them because it would be none for their awful service I've never had to make an account and share my review with any company!! Shows just how afoul they are, I bought hair from them that I didn't want so I called immidietly to tell them to cancel my payment that same day! and the woman said she did it I was relived, to call back a day later I hear that my parcel is on its way really annoyed me!!!!!! I call for a refund they say send it back and call on Saturday so I did then I calll on Saturday they say oh the refund lady's aren't in on Saturdays so I'm like what the hell!!! It's been past 7 days I need my money back so I call on Monday and they say that they haven't received it???! The customer service is disgusting don't ever! Buy hair from them let this be a lesson from me I am disgusted I will just stick to [Ext.Ref.] from now on much better service!!!!!! And for the recorded I lost about £60 which is awful because I am a student and really need the money!

I needed to have an item delivered very quickly and on contacing them they arranged for the item to be dispatched that day and promised delivery by 9.30 am next day. The item turned up at 9am as promised

Please do not shop here ladies .. They are so badly staffed , excluding one or two, they just employ anybody .. The managers are useless.. The hair is so hit and miss.. And when it is a miss they don't want to know.. I really hope trading standards gets them soon.. I've never known such a bad company in all my years! Paul you should be ashamed of yourself!!!!!

I bought a lace front closure from Paul's, which I did not like I sent it back within the seven days, 09/10/14 four days later I still not received a refund so I contacted them, they couldn't find my order and I was told they only do refund on the Saturday and someone will contact me on Saturday 18/10/14 no one contacted me' so I call Paul's on 20/10/14 only to be told they couldn't find my return thank god I sent it back recorded delivery which they signed for. So they had to give me a refund on the 22/10/14.
I will not be buying from Paul's again because refund shouldn't take this long.

Unprofessional disorganised company! I am completely devastated at the way I have been treated as a customer! I am 120 pounds down with nothing to show for it! After purchasing the same quality hair extensions that iv used the past 6 years, I had them fitted, and with in 2 days it was clear to see they were faulty and I had them removed on day 4. I complained via email and wasnt replied to for days. I took my hair to the store only to receive an email 2 weeks later informing me they were not faulty and the frizzing and tangling was down to maintainance...tell that to my clip ins iv had for 19 months!!!!! I sent my partner to collect my faulty goods as I wanted a second opinion and when he got there none of the staff knew where the hair was. I went back today and the assisstant was happy to tell me that no tests had been done on my batch of hair at all and the way they test is actually to have a sales assistant maintain a similar batch "correctly" I had to push for the assistant to agree to send the hair off for scientific testing which means I will now have to wait a further 6 weeks for professional results of testing. I do not trust the staff here and am livid that I was not even offered a credit note for the faulty goods that I got! No proof that my batch was fine and lack of communication between staff members. Unfortunately I WILL be going to trading standards.

I bought some hair extensions from Pauls Hair world and they are wonderfully stocked, the extensions I got aren't bad either, but when you go in you MUST know what you want! Do your research first or even buy online as they will try to sell you the most expensive stuff. I bought Yaki hair and they told me I should be able to dye it but it doesn't take to bleach at all so I had to go back and get MORE hair to add in highlights. They were very understaffed and the girl who served me seemed very annoyed with other staff members who were ignoring her requests to serve other people. It was all a bit negative and I can see how some people have had a bad experience. If you do get a weave there- sleep with your hair in tights and get a good tangle teaser brush so it doesn't wreck your weave! Also, Olive Oil spray makes them look amazing (and its only £3!) Don't go for any other stuff they try to up-sell you!

I ordered my hair extensions on a Tuesday and was told they would be dispatched the same day. They didnt arrive until the following Monday. The hair is ok, not the best quality i've had and the clips are quite poor, they don't stay in the hair very well.

I have never ever wrote a bad review for any shop I have shopped in, unfortunately enough I am really disappointed in Paul's hair wold (arndale Manchester) service.
I bought a hair extension at the time of purchase I was promised my hair would last longer than 6 months if I maintain it well and use their recommended shampoo and conditioner.
I paid £145 for the extension and another £45 to get it weaved in, after all that false promise all my hair after the first wash was utterly puzzled in knots, could not run a brush through the hair and after the second wash it turned in to a complete mess effected my own hair too even till today I am constantly loosing my own hair.

After taking my hair back in to them with all the purchase receipt they said they will send it off for testing and will get back to me it's been nearly 7 months - not a single communication.
When ever I go in they keep my number and say they will update me no replies.

I am thinking of taking this further to claims and get legal recovery!

Whatever you do please do not waste your money in that shop

Bought the most expensive hair in the shop was told its top quality. Had 2 packs weaved in after 3 weeks a full pack had shedded and couldnt get the brush thru the horses main left overs looked like a shaggy knotty bush

Staff rude and didnt even colour match the correct colour
