ABSOLUTELY love my purchases! Bought the three storage bags personalised and they are gorgeous! Bought the same style three years ago for my first born and loved them so much had to get matching for my second born. KRISHA was fantastic with her fast and efficient service when I needed help with my order and she rectified my mistake and made sure my order came and met my expectations. She was amazingly friendly and helpful and makes me want to return and buy again which i probably will soon for a rucksack for when my first born starts nursery! Thank you again! Love you guys!

I purchased two personalized bags from this website and truly regret not reading the reviews beforehand. Both bags were crammed into a single gift box, and when I opened it, I was shocked by the poor quality. The finishing was terrible and looked cheap.
I sent pictures to the company, and they admitted the bags were indeed of poor quality. However, because it was Christmas, there wasn’t enough time to return them. I had no choice but to gift these poorly made bags to my nephews and nieces so they wouldn’t end up without presents.
When I followed up and requested a partial refund, they refused. This shows the company is money-driven and does not care about customer satisfaction. Aleksandra, the representative I dealt with, was very invasive, lacked empathy, and clearly needs retraining.
Please read other reviews before purchasing from this site. They will disappoint you one way or another. I will never buy from them again.
I’d like to clarify my perspective regarding Aleksandra’s comment on 30th December. The reason I chose to gift the bags, despite their quality issues, was because your team assured me that a replacement may not arrive on time. Based on other reviews, it seems delays have affected many customers, so I believe my decision was reasonable under the circumstances.
Regarding the point on “mutual respect,” I kindly ask that we maintain accuracy in our communication. Some of the emails I received questioned how I gifted the bags despite their quality, which felt a little unfair. I hope we can keep the discussion constructive and transparent.
On the refund matter: based on the cost, a partial refund for both bags should be £37, but the offer was £10. Even going the distance to lie on the feedback. I encourage other customers to review feedback carefully and, if necessary, seek assistance from the Retail Ombudsman for an impartial review.

Delighted… Ordered a present for Xmas and noticed it was damaged. Used WhatsApp to contact and spoke to KRISHA, excellent service. Replacement already sent. Delighted with the product, although damaged I am very happy with the after sale service and when we receive the replacement will be delighted.

Unfortunately the delivery wasn't that quick and when it arrived the gift box and item box were both damaged and looked tatty. I did get a fairly quick response from customer service who offered to replace the gift box and promised to send express delivery. However, it hasn't arrived in time for Christmas so pointless receiving it now. Extremely disappointed

I ordered a small chair and a clock for my godchildren; however, the parcel was returned by the delivery courier because it was too large. I contacted the WhatsApp support team and they were incredibly helpful. They immediately explained what had gone wrong, resent my order with free next-day delivery, and ensured all of my personalisations were completed correctly. I’m so happy to have such beautiful gifts ready for Christmas. I’ve ordered from this company before, but after the outstanding customer service I received this time, I’ve been telling everyone it’s the go-to shop for children’s gifts. I will definitely be ordering again!

We recently had a daughter and have received lots of lovely, high quality personalised items from My First Years.
We unfortunately received a lot of duplicate gifts (one constructive feedback would be for My First Years to implement a system to try and flag this).
However, Aleksandra from customer support was very helpful and accommodating in allowing us to return those duplicates and purchase non duplicate items in their place.

I ordered a personalised toy box for my granddaughter. It arrived very quickly but a couple of the panels were damaged. I sent an email with photos and they responded straightaway, apologised and sent out replacement panels. I can't fault this company, Alexsandra was excellent and dealt with everything very efficiently. A first class service despite it being a very busy time of year.

Toybox
I ordered a personalised Toybox for my granddaughters first Christmas. Unfortunately two of the pieces were damaged.
I contacted the company and I have been so impressed with the customer service offered by Ewelina. She dealt with this so quickly and efficiently and I received the two replacement pieces the following day.

We experienced some issues with parcels being delivered (not this companies fault), but when I alerted them, action was taken very quickly and a resolution found. Our items were remade the same day and our items were sent via a different delivery company which saved our Christmas! Love the brand, love their items & often use to gift for new borns, 1st birthdays, Christenings & Christmas. I’ve had a few random issues here & there but their communication & support through customer services is excellent. Example of an issue (just so you understand I’m not saying big issues or anything) - I had a technical issue that caused a discount not to go through when I made a new order. I emailed CS & they were super quick to respond and added the discount to my order afterwards and made sure my loyalty points were added to my account & gave me a free personalisation for a product on my next purchase. That’s the kind of service that’s expected from a quality company who provide quality products… and many services don’t live up to these standards and expectations these days.
Their gift boxes are lovely and you can upgrade if you want. A friend of mine whos baby has had multiple gifts from them (via me) absolutely loves the gift boxes! She gets excited whenever she sees another one being gifted. I’m not sure if she likes the gifts as much as the box it comes in lol. Kidding, their amazing gifts such as a Christening set including a personalised bible and plushie toy were so lovely and priced fairly, which was great for me as the gift giver!
Most recent support was from Ewelina in Customer Services, who was efficient, polite, helpful and resolved my issue with no problems! Thank you for your help and have a Merry Christmas!

The main reason this is a 3 and not a 5 star review is because of the fact that My 1st Years used EVRi in the first place as their courier who failed to deliver and allegedly lost my parcel after making an attempt to deliver on the 11th December 2025. Reaching out to My 1st Years Aleksandra was fantastic arranging a replacement order which arrived on the 20th December 2025 via DPD (after being originally ordered on the 6th December 2025). Her customer service was great.
I have since watched the recent BBC Panorama documentary about EVRi and I have reached out to My 1st Years to urge them not to use EVRi as their courier. I was extremely shocked and appalled by what I saw around how unethical EVRi is, poorly treating their staff and customers. I strongly believe my parcel was stolen by the courier after reviewing my own experience further and watching this documentary. My 1st Years is a great company but associating themselves with EVRi makes me now feel really uncomfortable and I hope they review their courier considerations moving forwards.
