Be very careful of ordering from this company. My parcel was delivered (dumped) by Evri to garage 5 minutes from my house , and because I wasnt willing to contact the police to get a crime number sort out this matter (as suggested by my first years) i was left without a birthday gift for my nephew and no refund. Terrible customer service and awful choice of courier service. If you life in the country like me, or in a address difficult to find, please be aware you will lose your money and they will be of no help.

Received a few personalised gifts when our son was born a few months ago. High quality. Soft materials. I liked them so much I used their site to buy gifts for my friend's daughter.
Customer service is brilliant. I noticed one of the letters was slightly peeling off the dog toy gift last week. When I asked how to stick it back down they sent a replacement instead a few days later.

The website wasn’t working very well not allowing me to redeem my points and quickly Krisha found a solution and helped me. The parcel was delivered to the wrong address by the courier you selected. Under consumer law, responsibility for the goods remains with the seller until they are delivered to the customer. As the item was never delivered to my address, this responsibility has not passed to me.
Requesting that I obtain a crime reference number in these circumstances is inappropriate and does not follow standard consumer protection procedures, as no theft occurred from my possession. Despite this, you have refused both a refund and a replacement, which is a failure to follow correct delivery and dispute resolution protocol.
I am extremely disappointed by the handling of this issue and consider this to be a breach of your obligations as a seller.

I have ordered from this company for many years and have always been impressed by its products, high quality and perfect. I had a slight issue with my last order and contacted customer service where I was dealing with Geraldine. She was incredibly helpful, worked quickly to resolve the issue and displayed the excellent customer service that I have always received from my 1st years. Will continue to order all my gifts to all the precious newborn babies in my life who deserve nothing but the best !

I’ve used My 1st Years for a majority of my newborns personalised belongings. Not once have I ever had any problems with any of my orders. Everything has come on time or earlier than expected. The products are absolutely gorgeous. My daughter has the most beautiful backpack for her first day of day care, and a gorgeous blanket to go with it.

I am extremely disappointed with both the quality of this sleep suit and the subsequent customer service. They keep repeating the line below.
"Unfortunately, as the product was purchased six months ago, we are unable to provide a resolution in this case. From our review, it appears that the issues you described are consistent with wear and tear rather than a manufacturing fault." They can't seem to take accountability that their sleep suit is poor quality and price point is ridiculous and does not match the quality. Jo jo mama bebe baby grow I bought as gift you can feel it is worth the price point. It is the same price as the my first years. I have bought better quality baby grows from tesco.
The sleep suit (priced at an extortionate £27 for a single item) was worn by a 0–3 month old baby just three or four times. Despite this minimal use, the fabric became bobbly, the print started fading, and it even developed a small tear. For a newborn who is not mobile, this level of deterioration is completely unacceptable and points clearly to very poor quality manufacturing.
What makes this worse is the response from customer service, who repeatedly dismissed my complaint as “wash and wear.” This is frankly insulting. Anyone familiar with baby clothing knows that many sleep suits from high street brands such as Next or Sainsbury’s — at a fraction of the price — withstand far more washing and regular use while remaining in good condition. Those garments often last through multiple babies. This one couldn’t survive a handful of wears.
The item was purchased as a gift before the baby was born, which meant it fell outside the 30-day returns window by the time it was actually worn. Rather than acknowledging the obvious quality issue, customer service hid behind policy and refused to engage meaningfully with the real problem: the product is simply not fit for purpose.
My First Years markets itself as a premium brand, but premium pricing should come with premium quality and customer care. In this case, the quality was abysmal and the service dismissive. I feel completely ripped off and embarrassed that this item was given as a gift.
There are far better, more durable sleep suits available on the high street for a third of the price. I would strongly advise parents and gift-buyers to look elsewhere.

I had an issue trying to redeem some points I had on my account. I tried multiple times both on my phone and laptop. I emailed customer service and Krisha responded quickly asking my to remove cookies and try again, this didn’t work. She instead resolved this for me so I didn’t lose my points by swapping my points for store credit so I was able to make my purchase. Thank you so much for your help! As a long standing customer, any issue I’ve ever had as always been resolved in a timely manner.
