I paid £35 fee which i got back with my compensation as the judgement was in my favour. The court first asks for mediation but i took it straight to the court. The court process does take long but once the judgement you will get compensated. I took Berks insulation limited to court for damages and got compensated £535.00 very happy. If you reply to the courts and call them for updates the process will not be too long. I am glad i put a claim at money claim

One star is too many for these inefficient people. I tried calling them but after 40 minutes waiting on their phone line I gave up. I then emailed them as they asked for £100 to fill in a form as the time had exceeded their time line for a response. - this was because they had taken two weeks to respond to the email that they had sent requesting information. Isn't this fraud from a Court service.? They do not follow their own rules.
I have now had to employ a solicitor to deal with the issues, but have little faith left in the justice system.

Issued my claim in name of defendant. Have been complaining for months and only got a intelligent response today cause I wrote a letter accusing them of being like an overseas organization that cannot read or understand English. I have issued a number of court proceedings through the local court before no bother but this is still not issued correctly they ask me to fill in a N244 and pay another £100 they do not accept it is their error

I'll give 3 stars based on mixed experiences.

The paperwork is easy to fill out and helped me recover money I was lawfully owed by a retailer who violated my consumer rights and was witholding my paid for goods/ refund.

The bad thing is there is no quality filter - they have a lot of Debt Agency companies and private parking companies abusing their system as a tool to obtain unproportionate charges off members of the public often abusing process in their methods. They should be banned from this based on poor judgements against them as all these court writs put pressure on people's mental health, happiness and clog up the system and slow things down for people who are owed in genuine debts.

ABSOLUTE rip off - she lied to me for past 3 months

My CAT was killed and neglected and I wanted to take this to MEDIAITON COURT with the advice of RCPSA.

MEDIATION worker told me 3 months in a row - that she will chase up why the case hasnt been forwarded to their OFFICE to conduct the MEDIATION COURT.
Then it was trasnferred to a court HEARING !
when I spoke to her today - she said - she DOESNT have any recall and she doesn't know what i am talking about.
VILE LIER. and totally careless.
this has happened now with 3 cases in a row where's the CLAIMS were struck out.

I WANT AN EXPLANATION !!!! this is disugsitong. People depend and pay for these services - to get justice from CRIMINALS.

They need sack most workers that work there they want you to do there job for them they are lazy don't there job shame on manangner re staff them .There are some great workers but most aren't professionals.

One star is far to good for the appalling service from this site. Easy enough to fill in the application and they are quick to take my fee . I then applied for a ccj and was told they would contact me by post but never received anything so rang them after hanging on for ages the lady said the ccj was posted out to my address and if I wanted a copy of it I would have to pay £10. I was so disgusted and annoyed and felt really let down. What a complete waste of time.

Found this service very straight forward, efficient and effective. After chasing a customer for 6 months for non-payment within 7 days of issuing a claim through this service, we were paid!

We used this service to sue a builder who failed to obtain building regs for work and we had to apply for retrospective building control approval (and nearly had to pull the whole kitchen apart as a result) - it's not difficult to use, but obviously it's a legal process so you have to follow their instructions and be aware of timescales. We got judgment for the full amount and of course the moneyclaim costs on top (we had to escalate to a high court writ and use sherrifs to recover, but that was just a bit more time and a lot more expense for the builder!).

Not sure why so many people seem to have had problems, it's just an online version of the government's court claim paperwork.

After filling out a CCJ application form in early December 2019 and many phone calls in early 2020. It was not until early March 2020, that two people told me it was too late, as I should have claimed within 6 months of applying for the small claims court. I applied to the small claims court in September 2018 and did not find out myself until November 2019 that the defendent had not responded. No emails, calls or letters from them. So three months been told that I could apply for a CCJ and then I could not. In the end I had to pay £100.00 for Money Advice to reopen the case. Since March they have not been happy with my form filling but taking ages to tell me my errors. Now it is August and no updates from them, even though they cashed my cheque 5 months ago. They give bad and incorrect advice, I would not recommend them, use a Bailiff instead. I would have got my money a lot sooner.

If I could give one star it would,i was owed 280.00,spent over 1000.00 in their court fees,waited 10 months for my court date,only for the district judge Lyer on his prerogative and discretion they have to privately look at my case in closed personal chambers,threw my case out after 10 months with a 7 day notice of appeal,I was then reassured NO SPECIAL FORM OF APPEAL NEEDED,ONLY A EMAIL WITH ALL RELEVANT INFORMATION SURROUNDING THE CASE NEEDED,I proceeded to do this with at least 10 follow up calls to ascertain the status of my appeal,AT NO POINT DID ANYONE TELL ME WHAT I WAS TO BE TOLD LATER,this went on for four weeks,after five weeks I finally got told my case had been thrown out,why “I asked”,the reply “because you never filed the correct appeal forms” THESE PEOPLE ARE BELOW CONTEMPT,not just my time been wasted but my money also they took & you wonder why people seek criminal retribution,it would of been more cost effective in retrospect paying a third party to get the money owed instead of these crooks,they say they do not give legal advice,they are correct they in my case deliberately give me the wrong advice what cost me 12 months of my life and over a thousand pound,a shambles of a organisation

Absolutely appalling service. I submitted my case over six months ago and they still haven't issued the warrant. Communication has totally dire. Literally don't hear anything from them for weeks and weeks.

Submitted my claim and paid the fee In November 2019. June 2020 contacted my local court to see when the case might be heard, they knew nothing of the claim. Stated it was still with the business centre. The wait times on these contact centre calls is totally unacceptable. Finally got through to the Business centre only to be told that the case has not been sent on from the mediation service. I then call the mediation service to be told it was sent back to MCOL 24 Jan, which was the date of the mediation appointment, I was told by the advisor that my case wasn’t suitable for mediation. From then, 6 months later nobody knows where my case is. Absolutely a shambles of what is supposed to be the most sophisticated legal system in the world. I have just call cued for 1 hr and 5 mins, 6 in the cue only to be cut off, back to another wait time of 1 hrs 37 mins. Over the last 2 days I have spent over 4 hours on the phone to them. Service needs a complete over-haul. Maybe to sue the legal service for my money back?

They have to be joking!
The process is deliberately confusing and long winded.
I suspect that it is yet another conspiracy to maintain the massive criminal behaviour that is overwhelming England today.
A shocking state of affairs!

Great idea poorly executed , so easy to make claim and pay them money but then nothing , absolutely nothing , no means of contacting them , well you can e mail but they never reply and i mean you can wait 3 months for reply, call the automated phone service and ya , please e mail , absolute rubbish so im now al a loss ? can i pass these claims to a debt collection agency ?? AVOID AT ALL COST it will be more good money after bad.

I had a Samsung smartwatch that proved unfit for purpose and the strap fell apart. Samsung didn't want to know about a repair or replacement and so I paid my £25 and the site did the rest. I followed the guidance, won my claim (uncontested) and Samsung have refunded the cost of the watch and the £25 fee.
If you're up against an organisation that has assets and can't hide this is ideal. I'm not sure how effective it would be if you were chasing a local builder for example.
All I can say is it worked well for me.

I was trying to get back funds from my ex-partner and this has to be the most long, drawn-out, useless service I have ever experienced, leaving me to take matters into my own hands to recuperate my money. When calling the customer service line, I was repeatedly on hold for a significant length of time, often waiting to become first in the queue from the tenth or fifteenth position, before the line would cut out just as I reached first place. Every time that I was transferred to another operative/different department, I returned to being last in a queue of another ten people.

As well as this, the courts failed to bill the defendant for my application fees, costing me another £120 that I have not been compensated for, and each time that I have requested a copy of the complaints procedure, my query has not been acknowledged. The final straw came after making one of several applications to chase the defendant - I received a letter advising that I had made an error in my calculations re. the payments due. Upon checking my application, no error had been made, and the handwritten notes that had since been made upon my application then rendered it useless for sending back to be processed. What really amazed me, however, was that in sending back my application, MC had also enclosed correspondence about another case in Private Law proceedings, breaching data protection. It was then down to me to call the solicitors detailed in the letter and inform them that I had received information about their case - it turned out that they were equally dissatisfied with the service that they had received from MC!

The frustration of dealing with this service has only added to the stress of trying to get my savings back. I can only breathe a sigh of relief that I will never be dealing with their processes again!

Moneyclaims are a complete waste of time and money. Avoid at all costs. Run mostly by foreigners who have little or no understanding of the legal system. All they do is waste vast amounts of time telling you to follow one procedure after another for months on end which leads nowhere. It seems the business has been set up to take Government money for doing absolutely nothing except send emails that are meaningless. They never actually achieve anything.

Best advice is to avoid them altogether and go directly to court where the professionals work. Do not enter into 'mediation' or any other suggestion or anything at all to do with Moneyclaims as you will be wasting both your time and money. I personally know 16 people apart from myself that have all had the same terrible experiences with these time wasters. I have reported this to my MP as well as they should not be receiving Government money if they are unable to actually do the work.

I have felt extremely let down by this government service. Was it not bad enough, that some con man has de-frauded me, I feel like I have been ripped off by this service too. I assumed I was paying a considerable amount of money to help me claim, however it turns out that all this company do is send a letter on your behalf. I could have done that with a cost of a stamp!!! I have found the helpdesk to be incredibly unhelpful in what has already been a terrible time. I am glad as a country that we allow fraudulent people to get away with these actions and in the process do the innocent people wrong. I am outrages by the lack of service received. Be very aware if using this service, as I kept being told, I have ticked boxes and this is MY claim! This service CANNOT provide help or legal information.
