Good for having multiple teams!

My review was forwarded to the Head of Customer Success, Mauricio. He was amazing! Professional and accommodating and he took care of my issues! Based on my experience w him, I would absolutely recommend Mobilo. However, the reps that handle the issues from the app or online- definitely not! They need some serious training to handle the issues that guests have, before escalating. Thanks again Mauricio!

Nightmare! Horrible customer service. The cards and the keychains I purchased would not work. They refused to refund me for the cards that would not work. For ex. One thing was uploading actual business cards. I had over 100 from networking and one of the reasons I chose Mobilo was because they featured an option to scan them onto my acct- after going back and forth for hours trying to fix it through chats, they told me they were still working on that function. It was so embarrassing at events when I was networking. I would tap my phone to another’s or even have them scan my code and the info it transferred was not at all correct. I went back and forth for weeks through and emails until I finally cancelled my account. I spent HOURS trying to “fix” my profile. Now, one year later (with zero movement on my account)- I get a $36 charge and they refuse to refund it! I saved all the chats where I went back and forth with them trying to fix the issues. The replies back are so passive aggressive that it almost feels like your communicating w a bot however, a year later the reps names are still the same! Luis, Daniel… and I have spoken to them in the past so they are actually human. They just flat out refuse to refund any of the money. DO NOT RECOMMEND. TERRIBLE COMPANY AND EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I had high hopes, but this one misses the mark!

Do not waste your time or money.

I was genuinely excited about Mobilo at first. The idea is great — a simple NFC/RF tap that shares your contact info without requiring an app. I even had no issue paying the annual fee. I ordered multiple products (card, key fob, phone button) thinking this was going to be a game-changer.

Unfortunately, once I actually set it up and used it, I realized it’s not practical for real-world use.

Here’s the issue:

Mobilo converts every link into a redirect/tracking link. The idea is that you can update links dynamically later — which sounds smart in theory. But in practice, it creates a terrible user experience.

When someone downloads your contact card, instead of seeing clean, recognizable links (like facebook-com/yourcompany), they see long, messy Mobilo redirect URLs filled with tracking parameters.

To a customer, this looks suspicious. Most people are trained not to click strange redirect links — and frankly, I don’t blame them. It immediately reduces trust.

On top of that, the contact card becomes cluttered and hard to read. Each link takes up multiple lines, making your contact card look unprofessional and overly complicated.

Even worse, these links include tracking. As the card owner, you can see user interaction data, including location. That might sound useful, but from a customer perspective, it raises privacy concerns — and that’s not something I want associated with my brand.

I reached out to Mobilo support to see if this could be disabled. Their response was that clean, direct links are only available on a higher-tier “Teams” plan — meaning you’re stuck with the messy redirect links unless you upgrade.

That’s a dealbreaker.

Bottom line: great concept, poor execution. If you care about clean presentation, trust, and user experience — this isn’t it.

I had high hopes, but this one misses the mark.

Simple but practical idea

Mobilo card caught my attention because i wanted something easier than carrying around traditional cards. After using it for a few weeks, I've found it to be quite helpful.

Setting up my profile was took only a few minutes and adding my contact details was simple. I've already used it during couples of meetings and networking events and it worked as expected.

A good professional card

I heard about Mobilo Card through a colleague who was already using it at events. After trying it myself, i can see why people prefer this over traditional business cards.

The activation process was simple and the dashboard makes it easy to manage your information. I really like the fact that if something changes, i can update my details any time i want to without needing to print a new card.

Efficient digital solution…

I've been using Mobilo card during meetings and industry events, it has made networking much more efficient. The card works smoothly, and updating my details through the dashboard is very convenient.

Easy way to share contact Details

I have been using Mobilo card for networking, and it has made me sharing my contact details much easier compared to traditional business cards. Setup was simple, and the customization option are pratical and easy to manage.

I especially appreciate the analytics feature, which help track engagement after meetings. Overall, itself smart and efficient solutions for professionals looking to go digital.

I really love the card.

About the worst UX I have ever seen

About the worst UX I have ever seen. Two apps (they had to confirm it), with only one-way links (as best as I can tell, again, UX is terrible).

The way they link to emails is not intuitive or easy to understand. And when asked, they seem to get confused. At least Luis did when he got my account reversed.

The service might be good. Who knows? I can't get it activated or understand it long enough to use it.

They have not shipped a card or anything to me, have to send huge, long emails to try and explain their terrible application, then hide behind T&C when a refund is requested ~24 hours after ordering.

Just go anywhere else. Find a company that maybe took 3 seconds to go through their own application like a user would.

To clarify for anyone reading: this issue stemmed from two different email addresses being used (user logged in with the wrong account, not a UX issue), which caused parts of the setup to appear incomplete. Our team explained and worked to resolve this, issued a full refund within 24 hours, and offered a live session to walk through the product, along with sending the card at no cost.

We appreciate the UX feedback and are actively improving onboarding to prevent situations like this. Our goal is always to make setup clear and seamless, and we’re happy to help anytime.

I purchased a Mobilo digital business…

I purchased a Mobilo digital business card and found it works well compared to some competitors. However, I ran into a frustrating issue when I needed to update my company logo following a business pivot. The original logo uploaded without any problem, but now, when I tried to make changes, Mobilo is requiring me to pay for a plan upgrade—information that was never disclosed on their website or communicated at the time of purchase.

While the card functions well, this unexpected and non-transparent fee for a basic update is extremely disappointing. I would strongly advise potential buyers to explore the many other available digital business card options before committing, as several alternatives offer more flexibility and transparency without surprise fees.

Terrible Follow-Up and Unfulfilled Promise

I was initially contacted by Pieter Limburg, Founder of Mobilo Card, who offered me a free smart card to try out for my events (August 19, 2025). I immediately accepted the offer, and the next day, I was sent a link to schedule time with their team to get the card "designed, set up, and shipped ASAP."

Despite following up multiple times, the promised free card never arrived. I reached out again on October 31, 2025, mentioning I had been trying to get the card for several months without success and asking for an update. I have received absolutely no response to this follow-up email, despite multiple reminders indicating the email hasn't been opened or replied to.

It has now been three months since the initial offer, and Mobilo has completely failed to deliver on a simple, free introductory product and has ignored all subsequent communication. I cannot recommend a company with such poor follow-through and non-existent customer service.

EDIT - I've had my initial meeting, set up my account, placed the card order, and have not heard back.

Scammers who will not help you.

Scammers! they do not reasonably make a good attempt to disclose that their "free" service will actually charge you a NON-REFUNDABLE yearly fee of almost $40. Oh, and also if you're lucky enough to notice that they're secretly billing you, they WILL NOT ACCEPT REFUNDS and will blame YOU for not finding their secret fine print message! additionally, they will not let you cancel the subscription without EMAILING their support team to do it on your behalf, and you bet that they are barely responsive. Deleting your account may not cancel your subscription either. DIRTY COMPANY, DIRTY EMPLOYEES, DITRTY PEOPLE!!

Game Changer vs Physical Business Cards

I recommend Mobilo, a total game changer. Everything works perfectly, customer service has an AI for first contact, but is always followed up by a real person. The landing page is my favorite. I have used this new service twice now at two events I have covered. I am definitely impressed with Mobilo, customer service, response time, and even their self-help videos.

Dot cards better

This card sucks I try to upload photos it gives me the buffering wheel and then we'll go to my QR code and be stuck I cannot back out because it closes the app and then stops the upload of the picture for the price we pay for this card it is not worth the headache and hassle that goes along with it just go and buy the Dot card it's cheaper works better and there's a lot more stuff you can put on the Dot card sucks that I wasted $71 when I could have just bought it for 30

Customer service is terrible

Customer service is terrible. I requested help and they kept sending me emails never contacting me. The cards do not work all of the time and are constantly missing customers data.
I do not recommend this product, it does not live up to their claims and their service is terrible.
