Do not use the Maurice credit card and lose a receipt bc they will charge you for unknown items. I purchased a pair of jeans that were not over 45$, I lost the receipt and went back in the store but only exchanged them for two additional pairs. totaling 65$. Which I paid in Full. Then a couple weeks later they sent me a bill for an additional 32$. These jeans that were half off have turned into very expensive jeans because Maurice does not keep purchases on file or on line for you and instead they charge you without being able to tell you what the charge is for. I am waiting to see if they refund my money but I doubt they will. So save those receipts, they keep nothing on line for you as a customer and they will charge you additional fees for unknown things. Be aware! I would not use their credit card ever.

Tried to pay for an order online with…

Tried to pay for an order online with the app and it kept sending me back to the sign in page. Super frustrating. I thought it would be nice to have the store credit card to order online but I have never been able to make a purchase and customer service doesn't actually exist so that's fun. Don't waste your time with this stores credit card or app

Maurices credit policy is terrible

maurices credit policy is terrible. I sent the $25 I owed to pay my bill off before the due date. I didn't realize the credit card number had changed. The fully paid off amount went to an old account number.
I contacted maurices and spoke with a manager. They realized the mistake and transferred the funds to the new account number. However, he would not give me credit for the $34.08 in fees.
The manager said I should pay the late fees even though maurices had my fully paid off amount before the due date. If I did not they will continue to increase the late fees and send my account to collection for $100's of dollars at some point in the future.
I've closed the account and will never walk into another maurices. It makes me sad, because I want to support maurices employees.

This past experience with Maurice’s…

This past experience with Maurice’s start on Thursday January 16, I go to the store to pick up my orders. Now I asked the lady at the Brookfield store in brookfield Wisconsin to let's go over my orders because I know there's a lot and something else can get missed so we went over the orders however when I get home, I knew something was missing so I went back over the orders because the first time she missed the whole bag now this time she missed a whole item so now I have to go back to the store, but I didn't go back to the store till today, which is Saturday January 18th because I had to pick up another order. My boots had come in so when I get to the store, I asked the young lady that was there. I gave her my name told her I was there for my items that came through she looks for the items she can't find my items now mind you on Thursday I spoke to Lori and I let her know I was missing an item so Saturday today I'm there to pick up my items and the young ladies can't find them not only can’t she find the item missing now that was left behind now they can't find the new order for my boots, so they call Lori as they stated. She doesn't answer. They go in the backroom looking for the items and the other package still can’t find them, then they look one more time in the front and they still can't find them now this is frustrating and an inconvenience for me because this is the second time that I have come out here, and I understand why I've come out here which is for my second order but now they can't find a missing item, and my second order. now I have to return everything because they don’t know where the packages are because of the young lady. Lori said she's was going to them put up and let the girls know so now I'm frustrated. And It's an inconvenience because my packages are missing so I return everything but I’m still wondering where did my packages go. I'm writing this review because this was the worst day that I've had at Maurices. I've had this experience before at Mayfair collection store in Wauwatosa, WI and now the store is closed permanently not sure why but overtime their customer service started to decline too. As far as I'm concerned Maurices Customers service use to be prompt. They've always been assuring and now I don't know if I wanna order from Maurice's anymore. I’ve been a customer for over 5 plus years and I understand things happen but multiple orders have gone missing according to one of the young ladies. By the way The young lady who returned the items I can’t blame her she was trying her best to make things right if I’m correct she did the return her name on the receipt said Aaliyah. So I respect that she tried to make it right but that was bad customer service on the other young ladies part no communication with other staff on order issues. That’s not a good look for a company.

Insane shitty customer service

This website is a joke...I ordered an item to be here by Monday January 6th and now all the tracking says is that it's late. The customer service says I have to wait 7 days before they will do anything so I have to spend another 40$ in a store to get this item for the event. That's not customer service it's lazy. I had been a customer for 20 years but that's about to change.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!! Horrible customer service and supposedly there’s no way to speak to management. I have been shopping here for years and spent thousands but it doesn’t matter. I put in an order and saw that it wouldn’t arrive for two weeks despite saying 3-5 business days delivery. It wasn’t even shipped out yet so I wanted to cancel but was told that I could not. Kourtney in care team was rude and not helpful whatsoever, claiming there was no way to contact management about customer service or slow shipping.

good history doesn't matter

been a card holder for many, many years. have charged and paid off my card SEVERAL times. i went from having an $800 limit to $100 and i wasn't even notified. i didn't know until i went to the store to checkout for $129 and my card declined. i found the notification on my account under message center but not one email out of courtesy. they sure do send them when you miss a payment. i have had good payment history the whole time i've had my card. guess that doesn't count for anything.

Extremely Disappointed with Maurices' Customer Service

If I could give a zero-star rating, I would. I’ve been a loyal Maurices customer for over 25 years, but this recent experience has left me frustrated and disappointed.

My bill was mistakenly delivered to a neighbor, who brought it to me after the due date. I immediately contacted customer service, explained the situation, and was assured by the representative that if I called back before the next bill was due, the late fee would be waived. I promptly paid the bill in full.

When I called back as instructed, I was told the late fee would not be waived. I asked if they record phone calls because I was given different information earlier. The representative offered a reduced late fee of $15, which I declined. I politely requested to speak with a supervisor, making it clear that my frustration wasn’t with the representative but with the inconsistency in their policy.

The supervisor reiterated that the fee would not be waived, despite two representatives telling me otherwise. I expressed my disappointment and mentioned that I would cancel my account due to their failure to honor their word and review the call recordings. Only after I decided to cancel my account did the supervisor offer to waive the fee.

Unfortunately, this resolution came too late. It’s disheartening that I had to threaten account cancellation to receive the promised assistance. Therefore, I’ve chosen to cancel my Maurices credit card. A company that fails to follow through on its commitments is one I can no longer support.

Scammed

Updated my Maurices credit card at the store and requested to pay off the balance immediately. Assuming this was done I had not checked my online email statement since I hadn't made any further purchases. When I went to make a purchase 2 months later I had a bill with late fees because Maurices did not process my payment. I then paid off what was owed. Now 3 months later I have a late fees of $175 for a $70 purchase. Affecting my excellent credit score. I would never recommend getting a credit card or patronizing Maurices. Zero stars.

I wish to tell U that I hadn’t shopped there in mayb a year and a half!! I live Maurice’s store at Moline, Il. The manager and staff r very friendly and helpful!! I placed an order online with clearance items. I now live over an hr away and so I made an online , I love their clothes, their jeggings r great and everflex jeans r comfortable!! My items arrived in a timely manor and had receipt and total!! As stated, I love Maurice’s clothes as they r NOT cheap looking and very comfortable!! Thank U for great in person service and online delivery!!

TERRIBLE Business

I will NEVER do business with Maurices again. I had a card with them for years; never a late payment, always paid off in 2 months max, I don’t think my balance was ever more than $200. Went to use my card in the store and it was declined; thoroughly humiliated. They closed my account for NO REASON and with NO NOTICE. What kind of idiot runs a business this way?!

I have waited over 4 months for a…

I have waited over 4 months for a refund of a return and still have not received it. I have had to call or text into customer care a good 10 times now, and they always give me some bs line of ‘I assure you the proper department is looking into this and your refund will be issued. I cannot give you any specific timeframe for when it will be issued, but it is being handled.’ It is absolute robbery. They have the returned items and my money. I was promised by a manager that a check was in the mail, 8 weeks later no check, call back customer care to check in on it, no check was ever mailed out. I have wasted so much of my time trying to get my money back. Ridiculous. Please be aware, this company will steal from you. I hope you love what you order and don’t have to return any items, because if you do, good luck getting your money. I still haven’t.

I have a card through Maurice’s.
I made a payment in full of my balance. They lied and said there was a stop payment. Never happened. I thought my card was paid in full. Oh no! They never processed my payment. They are charging me double the balance. Don’t ever bank with Comenity Bank system or get a card at Maurice’s. Interest way to high and top it off they rip you off. “Stating it’s in their system” Well no transactions were on my bank statement. Lies. Lies and more lies. Customer service was horrible. The supervisor was rude and dismissive. Truly don’t put yourself through their horrible thievery system.

My experience in the store

I walked into this store yesterday in Chambersburg PA and what a delight to talk with the woman who worked there. They were very professional and helped me with the clothing that they sell. I was very pleased with the clearance prices. you can't beat them. I would definitely go back for other items. Everything was in an orderly fashion. They treated me very well. Thank you for caring

Do not bother! Not only is their merchandise ugly,cheap and unwearable, when you try to return their rags, they are so sorry but they cannot help you?
Really? These people are thinly veneered scammers who are out to steal your money! Don’t bother with these subhumans and don’t waste your time and money! Do yourself a favor: Shop elsewhere!

My daughter actually worked as a 1A…

My daughter actually worked as a 1A manager for Maurices, and they are not a profession company at all. She has been top sales every single month, and as she has not received a raise in almost a year, was still asking. They decided to offer her a temporary store manager ;position, but did not want to give her a raise even then! She has been offered a managers position at another company, and has decided to leave a s a result. I am partial to my daughter, but as I am a CIO at my company, and am 100% prone to keeping great employees, feel they messed up in letting her get away. I absolutely do not see Maurices as a good job opportunity, so I would stay away form them at all costs.

Anger management issues

One of the "Managers" had a horrible attitude, she was screaming because they made a mistake on their sales signs.
She took it out on me and then started to scream at the other associate to remove the signs.
Luckily the other manager on duty took over and she apologize and acted like a real retail manager.

Maybe fire your designer

I used to shop in Maurices quite often…for the last four years or so the price has gone way up and the quality way down..Maurices used to be my go to store but not anymore as the clothes are just not cute..I actually think they are quite ugly..probably explains why last winters clothes are still in the clearance section…you can’t even give them away…I know you can do better..

I keep ordering different jeans and…

I keep ordering different jeans and they cancel my order 24 hours later due to being out of stock. Out of my 5 orders of different pants and jeans for each order, all of my orders were cancelled! I went to my local store and if I look for 10s and 12s they’re all gone. What is going on!
