I love that Maurices has clearly made some changes recently - they have clothes that are cute and stylish again, and I love all of the social media reels they are putting out lately, showing off everyone's unique take on styling their clothing.

I had not visited Maurices for a long time, not loving the look or quality of the clothing, but recently there is great improvement in both of these areas. The real purpose of this review is to commend the staff of the New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. They are helpful, polite and clearly the team is happy and work well together. It makes shopping a pleasure to go to the store that provides a very pleasant experience. Thank you to the lovely Manager and all the employees who make an effort.

I am cutting my card up. Recently, I was in a Maurice's store and agreed to get a credit card and then paid for my purchases at the same time with the same clerks. I just got a bill for my purchases. They put the payment on an old 5 year old card and billed me. They can not apply the money to the new statement without a dispute. I hope the dispute happens before the date of payment or it will effect my credit rating. The claims person suggested I pay the bill and be reimbursed. Why? It is not my fault that Maurices screwed up. This is ridiculous and what a racket. Just always keep your receipts for instances like this.

Visited my Clovis, CA store and Desirea was a delight to work with. She greeted me as I walked into the store. She helped me find what I needed and set me up in a fitting room. It's very uncomfortable for me to do clothing shopping but she gave me all of her attention and eased my worries on finding what I needed.

COMENITYBANK/MAURICES. Opened a credit card in my name I never applied for? Have never conducted business with. Have credit locks meaning someone would have to contact me and unfreeze? Also they couldn’t give me information because they don’t have my email or phone number GIVE ME A BREAK CROOKS

My experience was made great by your sales clerk Rose Garrison. I told her what I was looking for and she seemed to know exactly what I meant. She found the my pants and shirts very quickly and they were just what I had
been looking for. Service was excellent and I will be back!

Do not shop from this store. I’ve had a Maurice’s credit card years ago but they are now predatory. I only got the card to get a discount. 2 pairs of pants for 37.00. I paid on time online but apparently even if you pay on due date they claim it won’t post till it processes. So the next month I wanted to pay it off. Apparently what showed up online was not my full balance. I went back over everything and couldn’t believe the interest they were charging. Late fees on top of late fees. This used to be comenity bank which is now bread financial. Do NOT get a credit card from Maurice’s or one affiliated with bread financial. I now owe almost 70.00 on a 37.00 purchase. Absolutely disgraceful. I will never step foot in Maurice’s again, and I will not ever own another store credit card. I believe they’re all becoming predatory and deceptive.

I would like to share my experience with Maurices credit card services. After opening a credit card for a $26 boot purchase and paying the bill, I was surprised to be told that the payment was late. Despite two months of disputes, I now owe $80 in addition to the original amount. To avoid potential issues, friends and family may want to consider alternative payment options when shopping at Maurices, a store located in Stow/Kent. As I have learned the hard way, the little store stays open through extortion.

I have been shopping at Maurice’s for nearly 20 years and never had a problem until today. I made an order last night after hours and for some reason it it got shipped to the wrong address. I called immediately but since it was after hours I could get help. But they will only allow 30 minutes to change the order. Now they are refusing to cancel or reroute. Now they are saying just to call UPS to reroute. So they don’t help or don’t take responsibility for the flaws in their system. Maurice’s has lost a long time customer.

I love my store in Muncy, PA. The girls are so helpful. I love the jeans but I feel like all the shirts I buy shrink extremely bad after one wash. I dry on low heat but always end up being short.

Applied for a credit card after being a customer for the majority of my life. I got approved it woulsnt let me use the credit card online where I applied but said when I applied that the 30% off offered with first purchase would be sent with my card but when I finally got it and used it it didnt apply called and they claim you only have 24 hrs to use it. Thats not what it said instead of remedies they offered to just close my credit card account. The clothes have went to shit both in style and quality. I only buy jeans the Kancans are decent but Silver jeans have also went to shit the material is so thin might as well be wearing leggings. I wish they wouldnt of cheapened everything they used to be the best clothing store for women of all ages.

The staff at the Wausau Maurices have been most help for this week when shopping . Christina was the last staff member to help me,she was kind understanding and always had a smile. I will shop this store for everything I need.

I really love Maurices and have been an avid shopper for close to 20 years now. Honestly half my wardrobe is from this store which is why this upsets me so much. I won’t be spending a dime more at Maurices after my latest experience.

During the most recent “Tick Tock” sale, I ordered a significant amount of clothing and accessories during the sale. I ordered online and during the check out process, I updated my shipping and billing address again. Now I haven’t lived at my previous address for 3 years and have updated my info on Maurice’s website a few times to reflect my new address. During the check out process, I noticed once again my old address was set as the default so I reentered my new address and deleted my previous address. Same for billing, updating my card on file and associated address. Before checking out I checked to make sure both addresses were correct before submitting.

Once I submitted, I did not receive the confirmation email right away and did not think to check for it when it wasn’t in my inbox initially. I went on about my evening and later that night I checked again. That is when I noticed my billing address was correct but my shipping had once again reverted back to my previous address.

I need to state here that my order was placed on Sunday evening so there was no “customer service” available to help that night. So I reached out via email as well as the “chat” option the next morning and was told repeatedly there was nothing to be done about the address, all changes needed to be made within 30 minutes of the order being submitted. I asked to just cancel the order and was told I could not cancel because it had been 30 minutes. Ok, so I asked what my options were since I could not change my address or cancel my order. I was told I could contact UPS once my order shipped to change my address for delivery.

Well today I received my shipping notification so I did as I was told. I contacted UPS to change my address and initially was told it would be $48.62 PER package (I have at least 2 as of now) to change addresses. So it’s going to cost me close to $100 to change the delivery address. As I am trying to pay for this, UPS informs me that Maurices has restrictions placed on changing the address and I cannot complete the change of address.

I’m honestly fuming. I have never experienced worse “customer service” in my life. I did everything I was told to do, and it was going to cost me $100 to change my address. And then PLOT TWIST: Maurices does not allow for address changes per UPS. I literally cannot do anything but tell my bank to dispute the charges at this point and hope they will get me my money back. I hope this is a lesson to anyone else not to trust this company. I’ve never been more disappointed. Buyer beware.

I have been in the store and our local and even out of area Maurice's have great staff. Clothing is nice and fits well, if it snags or is damaged normally they replace it. Always a great place for clothing for a bigger girl and even smaller girls

In store purchases are great, other than rarely having tall sizes, which is why I had to order online. Ordering online is another story. They are supposed to ship within 24-48 hours. It has been 4 business days and still "processing" even though my credit card was charged 4 days ago. Customer service is Outsourced...in other words, English is not their 1st language and you can't speak to an American. They read off a script and can only tell me what I can already see on my account...that it's "processing." But they "assure" me it will be received in the timeframe: shipped in 24-48 hrs with 3-8 days ground shipping...which they've already missed. HORRIBLE, USELESS customer service.
On my 2nd call in 2 days, and after very forceful insistence, I finally was able to speak with a U.S. based "supervisor" names "Frances" who also confirmed it's still at the warehouse but couldn't tell me when it would ship...maybe early next week. (I ordered on a Tuesday evening and it's now Friday afternoon.) Add another 3-8 days in transit. I might get $165 worth of jeans by NEXT Friday, if I'm lucky.
*Update-Frances sent an email saying she gave me incorrect info and that I should receive the order by September 22, not the 17th. It was ordered and PAID FOR on Sept. 9. DO NOT RECOMMEND ORDERING ONLINE.
*If I order again (because I like their jeans), I will do as I have in the past...drive to their store in another city (actually in another state) and have THEM order for me. I placed my last order like that and received in 5 days.

Every time I go in maurices Ironwood mi. Store. Salesperson Samantha is so helpful. Thank u Samantha, looking forward to many trips to maurices and getting your expert advice on dress. Quality clothes.

The service was super helpful and sweet! They helped me every step of the way and helped ne with sizes!

My wife purchase clothes and Great Bead Ks. They stated if she signed up for a Maurices credit card she would get a discount. We got a statement on April the 10 for $43.19 and are bank paid it on April 15 ,2025 The next in May statement Maurices had a late charge of $38.96 because they never cashed the check until May 5, 2025. My wife spoke to a Nickolus, and he said they never received the $43.19 he would remove the late charges if she kept the account open. I told her to close the account, so she paid $79.27. Two days later Maurices cashed the bank check for $43.27. She has talk to three other people all of them refused to do a thing to try to fix the problem. These stores know full that the banks will mail the first payment on a new credit card. On top of that they know that it will take 7 to 10 days before you receive their statement. Then the fact the bank mailed their check on April 15, and they never cashed the check until May 2, 2025. This is called pocketing the payment. Our family will never do any business with Maurices stores.

Normally I buy at the Effingham, IL store which has EXCELLENT customer service. Recently I went to their store in Mattoon, IL and the customer service was TERRIBLE!! I found a couple items which I wanted to try on and they did not offer me a dressing room or even speak to me. No other customers in the store and 3 employees....all totally ignored me. I will NEVER go to the Mattoon, IL location again. I never encountered such rude sales people!!!
